Posted: Aug 14 2005 at 7:57 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Dropped RC this morning with a grp, pull was easy (rogue escape pulled, warrior tag) bst rampage tank, druid kept him up. chain c heal on warrior with cleric, fight lasts about 10 minutes, cleric never went under 95m. dropped this tunic which went to my lvl 6 druid friend just starting on the server.
Dropped for us last night on the E.Marr server. Our guildie won it. RC also dropped Totem of Shadows and another one of our guildies won that as well. RC is pretty tough.

Playing my 56 druid who has an Elysian Tunic I think I'd probably let the other classes who can use this have a shot at it first. It is definately nicer than my Ely BP but not in such excess that I want it badly, has 1ac more 10sta more 60hp more and 2svall more granted those are all useful stats, but much more useful to mnk and bst than to dru. If you ask me bst could make the best use of this tunic from the overall stats, depending on how they play the class.

Good call on that one. Until every monk in your guild, who actualy pulls, has this or better, no reason to take this over Elysian. Its 1 more AC, about 80 more hp (including stamina), and +2 more to all saves. I'd rather have our monks pulling stuff then any of that. Also, the guild monk who got this earned it 100%, pulled Rumblecrush solo outta 10 mobs.
As for the beastlords, i'd happily fight them for it.
The trick here though is finding RC up. Easy kill, just gotta beat people to him.

Damn grats to the monk on that, that last time I was there the SK who pulled only died once due to lag FD timing..I give props to the monk =)
This would be a very nice tunic for all of the classes that can use it. That being said, I'm a little partial to Beastlords getting it, due to the combination of stats being very nicely tailored for a hybrid. I would definately trade my PSC for this.

Awesome tunic . My main got it last night . 61 druid . I'm still in shock . Been waiting forever for SS tunic but this is just as nice. To bad it looks like studded acrylia >

This is a real nice tunic. As a druid I love the saves on this. I never bothered with the Elysian crap(ok..Elysian BP not that crap). For a druid this is even better than Wistful Tunic of the Void. Saves are real nice.
If you're a fashion plate then you wont like this as this is the generic leather look.

I am 61 Monk soon to be 62 and i use this one in raids where i dont need regen i hit Str 260 Sta 244 Agi 260 Dex 260 with this tunic on and resist of 130+ for each. but i do use fungy on Aoe mobs and soloing. but i really like the resist on there and the sta that seams to be my down side in my stats only one not at 260 yet so that is main reason i use it for the 15 sta and 75 hp good for CH when you are taking at lvl 61 sta is 4.1 ration so 15x4.1 is 61.5 let's round at 61 and the 75 hp it gimes that is 136 hp and it helps more than a fungy when you are tanking that has no hp and - 10 agi and dex

I got this tunice last night and Love it )) I use my old wild lords tunic for the bramblecoat effect its a nice combo )
IMO I think this is one of the best beastlord tunic besides the void one. The stats are incredible on this! I know i'm going to get flamed for thinking this but who cares! hehe j/k

Someone in my guild told me it was dropped on a Naggy raid yesterday. Not sure if it was a bug or if it was added to the loot list. Unfortunately, some dude disbanded from group, ninja looted it and then went LD. The petition is still in on that loser.

I think your mate is pulling your leg. I would be very surpised if an old world mob droped Luclin loot.

i wear a kael bp and at the end game resists are everything and a tunic with 10 to all is a god send we have killed RC many times and never seen this drop yet this tunic is a must for resists
and the 75 mana doesnt hurt either

Our guild just killed Rumblecrush in the last days. Wished this tunic had dropped. Dropped Totem of Shadows, Ring of Ages and Wicked Mail. Its great how slow the guardians are, I was able very easy to pull RC 4 times to the zone to ME. First time was the first time for us to try him and we had pathing issue at the entrance to the ME zone, killed a cleric immediatly.
Second time we again had a bit of pathing and position issues, MT went down with unlucky high hits, so we zoned out (had only 3 people dead). Pulled again but got an add on the way, so we called off, let reset and pulled 4. time. This time flawless, had a few people dead, mostly because of flurry. Got the totem awarded, so I am still happy.

I wear a SS breastplate but this is nice.. I would wear this and only use my SS BP for the nice effect

By the time you can kill this mob, you will have something better (elysian, thurg/ss/kael, PoH) so you got nothing to worry about with regards to how this looks. This would be a killer bl tunic though.

Ok bud soloing most of ur armor sounds AWESOME to me i know i know i still have to wait 4 lvls to do it but can u gimme some info on how u did it? Did u have a KEI on 24-7? and what mobs did ya kill where? Its just that the Elysian armor stats seem NICE to me and i could definitly use it over me mithril runed tunic ;p n e info is appreciated thanx in advance.
Not neccessarily. I myself am 59, in a good guild, been playing for 3 years and I still wear a shroud of nature.
SS/ kael / Thurg better then this ? no I don't think they really are myself. I use a thurg BP at the moment but would use this one over it due to 15 sta = hps , 50 resists over alot lower on the thurg one with mana and hps. Yes its a good effect only on SoL bps compared to the stats on this guy. One of if not the best BP's in the game for druids.
I see druids need hps resists mana hps this has it all.

IMHO opinion i think this is a great item for a BL and when i get the opportunity to get this with my guild on veeshan i will be happy to take it and the reason i think this is solely to do with the +15 wis which i know i could do with since i set up my BL as a newb and didnt know to put points into wis at the time and the ac makes it as good as a PSC but then i still don't know everything like your good selves
I just got today and it looks like leather. Rampage tough he hits the top 4 on his agro but we managed to do with agro management.

This is *definitely* nice. However, I am one of those "wierd" (to the people who don't understand, anyways...) people who also think fashion/looks is somewhat important as well.
Any idea what this looks like on a Female Half-Elf Druid? Sure hate to loot one to find out I probably won't wear it very often, and end up depriving someone else from having it when they would wear it.

I'd have to assume that since this is from Luclin, and only BST, DRU, and MNK can wear these, it'll just look like normal leather if you have Luclin Models turned on. Probably even if you have them turned off <remembers her Guardian wearing friend who now looks like he's wearing peach colored fine plate and shivers>.

Those 3 classes are the "leather wearing" classes. That's why they get this tunic and no one else.

Just a little reminder, check out the classes that can use the luclin leather quest armor. Dru Mnk Bst can all use the leather. This is following along the same lines. Shamans can use chain.

The latest round of items coming out of Umbral seem to be armor type specific. This item is geared towards Leather armor wearers. There is a Chain specific armor drop (Wicked Mail) that is Rog, Rng & Sha only.

Had one of these drop off of Rumblecrush as well last night. He hits damn hard and has up to 12 lvl 58 stone guardians surrounding him. Not terribly difficult with great pullers though.
and sometime those great pullers win the tunic ;) weeeeee. Sorry I'm still elated after our Rumblecrush Kill
