This is a load of crap been foraging this for 2 days only have gotten 1 sooooooooo boring
As with every foragable in the game, it makes absolutely no difference where in the zone you are when you attempt to forage.

I have been foraging this pretty much anywhere in LP, it just seems like a rarer forage. one in about 10 attempts, no matter where I go

I forged some in the Goblin camp so it appears to be a more rare forge anywhere in zone,though I did wonder myself if it would be likely to be forged in that type of grass you mentioned.I will have to check the forge rate against fort vs field.

Can confirm it comes from anywhere in zone,grass makes no difference,and the forge rate sucks.
This is foraged in Loping Plains.
