~ To Arms Citizens, there
is WAR! ~
After a bloody battle of
carnage and killing,
| hundreds of Orcs and elves
alike lay dead in the
Forest of Greater Faydark.
"Damn those Orcs, we knew
it was only a matter of
time until they attacked
us. With all that's been
going on in Norrath these
days it's a wonder it
didn't happen sooner.
Caught us by surprise they

did, but never again. The
Emerald Warriors shall
always be vigilant and a
tragedy like this will not
befall Greater Faydark
again," said Rend
Firstrike, a commander in
the Emerald Warriors.
Though Rend was not
seriously injured in the
battle, many others were.
The wounded are being
| treated by the servants of
Tunare in Kelethin and
Felwithe.
This episode has brought
the Koada'Dal and Feir'Dal into the conflict that
had previously been
restricted to Freeport.
The Elves of Felwithe and
Kelethin have declared
their support for any
others that this wave of
|
|
conflict might engulf and
plan to travel where needed
to offer their assistance
once their preparations are
complete. It is unknown at
this time, however, due to
the battle with the Orcs,
when the army will be ready
to travel.
Rend commented, "While
some say that we should
| not be so hasty
to leave our cities
under-defended, our
leaders believe that a
large enough garrison has
been left to repel any
assaults from would-be
invaders. Patrols will
also be increasing in the
forest edges to keep the
Orcs at bay."

"Having been attacked
ourselves, we know the
hardships of battle and we
must lend aid to our
allies. Please rest
assured however, that
Felwithe and Kelethin will
not be left undefended by
any means. We will ensure
that a garrison capable of
defeating any invader is
stationed at our cities,
| should the Orcs grow bold
again and attack. It is
time we all stand together
and face the evil that
looms on the horizon. We
cannot stand by any longer.
If it is war they want,
then war they shall have!"

arms in defense of good and

enough and willing is
