It appears this item, Rock Hopper Egg (3 words) was officially removed from the game circa 2005, in favor of the Rockhopper Egg (2 words).
From April 12, 2005 Patch Notes:
"The recipe for dough made from Rock Hopper Egg now uses Rockhopper Egg. It turns out that there were two items with similar names, but the one used in the recipe doesn't drop in game."
So, you 350 trade skillers trying to learn recipes -- the search is over for "Rock Hooper Egg!" It doesn't exist!
