Essentially its just like farming the Pyrilen Flames but its the blue guys instead of the red. Just as annoying, just as low of a drop rate.
It is much worse than the Pyrilien Flames.
For tradeskillers, settle in, 10drops/2686kills. Bring a book.
This is ridiculous. To do an entire set of Feran Ice combines, you need 23 of these. OoW drop rates were why I gave up TS the first time.

Feran Blood sells for 0 plat 9 gold 5 silver 2 copper when offered to Sateal Deirosap vendor in the bazaar by level 2 human monk with 143 cha.... Current bazaar prices range from 2400 to 3000 plat on bertox server....and 2000 plat on druzzil server...
Anyone have a picture of this stuff? Is it NO TRADE? Thanks... have some guildies working on getting some.

you should try to pull aggro off of a ranger that wants aggro alost impossible. I oull aggro from warriors that have a Blade of War with anger 3 aug in it after 5 procs and incite. Rangers make decent tanks if you have agood group.
moron anyone can pull aggro off a ranger, matter of fact if ya dont wanna try to hard just leave the ranger for a second. Death is a huge aggro dropper. Rangers worst tanks in game. Lowest ability to keep aggro.
You couldn't pull the aggro from a rice pudding.... only thing that out aggros a ranger is a caster hitting with crits..... who the **** uses a warrior to tank anyway? Most BORING class in the game DH

suprisingly enough, rangers offtank, and ws tank quite frequently in trials and rss.. i guess it depends on your guild andwhat your rangers wearing... ie most of the rangers i speak of are buffed 10k+ easily with > 2000ac
btw rangers make descent tanks in fire as well

Where and what drops this.
My first guess would be the Gelidran's in Riftseekers.
Doing a Beastiary search gives the following results for "gelidran":
A Gelidran Frostblade
A Gelidran Icedagger
A Gelidran Iceshadow

Thats a pretty good guess, these are almost certainly the mobs that drop it, however good luck finding this stuff in quantity.
The fire mobs in RS are rather good xp and lots of groups camp them frequently. The ice mobs, however, proc a nasty mez that can easily wipe a group while the tank is asleep for a minute. Hardly anyone seems to camp them on my server because of this.

I've heard its a pretty rare effect, happens from approximately 1 in 100 mobs, though I haven't been able to confirm this. I have camped the Ice side several times and have not yet gotten hit by this proc. I'm curious to know if it is resistable as well.
Either way, having an offtank such as a knight or very strong ranger or beastlord in your group may mitigate the danger of having your main tank mezzed. It will be a bit mana inefficient to spam the secondary tank, but sure beats a group wipe.
All in all, the Ice side is a bit more dangerous, but if you know what to expect its not as troublesome as it will be to those who are caught unaware of the hazards.
