The flame dancer beads are exceptionally rare, took me a number of days farming here to get my own cord. Tore this place up with a DC pet, the dangerous rats are fantastic for druids. Generally take the lower areas, the area with the 4 possible flame dancer spawns is generally about the best for farming these. They don't summon but they cast semi-nasty spells, pack some resists for these (particularly elem resists). Hope this helps someone.

as a foot note to the DC'd pets, there are rats deeper in that are DB to 65, believe they are menicing or something of the sort, I have a screen shot and intend to send it in, with a 65 ranger I could definately tell the difference in a dangerous rat and a menicing (spelling?)

I've found that the vicious mine rats make a very good pet. not only do they dual wield but also bash and kick. Had one with one fireblade and one hand and it was slashing bashing biting and kicking. Nasty little pet... Also it had a disease spell by the looks of things...

Just did this quest, had the hide in my bank for a while and bought 3 of the beads in the bazaar. The slaves in FM seem to always be up. Gloves are pretty nice

Just got one flame dancer beads last night after 6 hours of chain pulling. Must be as rare as all the other items needed for the quests.

Ok people I have been down in those mines for 3 months now and got no beads to this day, but on the positive Myself and my alts are decked out in nice Nurga wear. WHERE ARE THOSE BEADS AGH!?!?!

has anyone done this quest yet and can a 54 druid solo the mobs that drop the beads fo rthe quest? Any info would be appreciated.

I'm a 54 Druid(should say was cause now i'm 56 thx to the xp in here)with only average gear and have been able to solo quite nicely. my strategy is this,,,pull the mob you want running to your safe spot count to 7 then egress,,, invis back up run back down and wait for any adds to walk away.. should be able to get them by themselves this way. if hp's get below half egress heal and do it again :),,good hunting. oh and a side note be friendly and dont pull mobs this way if other people are in the area. it might cause them to be attacked. good resists are a must****I don't think this qualifies as a cheat just because you know how to play your class*****

Doubt you would be able to solo. Not because the mob itself is that bad, but there are some possibilites for adds and while the zone is generally not that hard, buffs can be dispelled here. Some of the mobs HT for 500+. Stuff can go wrong really fast in the more open areas.
Also part of the quest is to free the slaves. Would probably take at least a group to hang with this part.

Slaves only have to be freed once on the server. I'm pretty sure they've been freed on almost every server.
Been freed on Veeshan, that's all I speak for ;)
