any mobs drop these? quite expensive to purchase even maxed cha. if not, thank god for KEI, always in high demand.

The most important item to be made from these bars are the Mounted gems for the Artisan's Seal which is pottery Triv: 136(unrefined). 102 to refine it.

The mounted gems are Jewelcraft and all trivial at 60. you need to mount four seperate gems. (Jacinth, Black Sapphire, Blue Diamond & Diamond). This is done buy adding the gem to TWO bars of velium. They do not need to be enchanted.

When these for are added to Water Flask, Vial of purified Mana and a Small Block of clay in wheel you recieve Unrefined Artisan Seal, then take to kiln and add HQ firing sheet.

The seal can then be made into items to greatly help your Tradeskills at GM level.

The Seals fetch a nice sum in bazaar, average price is 6k.

Would this be a good skill up for smithing or is there less costly ways of going about it

Velium BARS are for the Jewelery tradeskill and cannot be combine or altered in any way.

[Blue]Blocks, Bricks and Pieces are mostly for the Smithing tradeskill (& a few quests) and are the only ones that can be combined/resized by the following combines in an ordinary (non-cultural) forge:

Block Of Velium=coldain velium temper, large brick of velium(3), trivials under 88.
Large Brick Of Velium=block of velium, smithing chisel -OR- coldain velium temper, small brick of velium(3), trivials at 27
Small Brick Of Velium=coldain velium temper, small piece of velium(3) -OR- large brick of velium, smithing chisel, trivials at 30.
Small Pieces Of Velium=small brick of velium, smithing chisel, trivials at 27.

They can be used for:
Block Of Velium is used in making Folded Sheets of Velium.
Large Brick Of Velium is used in making Velium rings.
Small Brick Of Velium is used in making Enchanted Velium Powder, Large Brick of Velium, Sheet of Velium, Small Piece of Velium, Unfired Velium Vial, Velium Boning.
Small Pieces Of Velium is used in making Enchanted Velium Bits, Liquid Velium, Rune Casing, Small Brick of Velium, Velium Bits, Vial of Velium Vapors.[/Maroon]
