I'm not really sure what's so different about this version. Perhaps EQ's ID# for this item changed and that's it?

When you turned these in, did you get spells from them? They may have changed the item id on them for some reason.

I didn't turn them in, so I don't know. These were captured because they were for sale in the Bazaar.
Another Lucy user, Drewie - D'Pikey, also captured Dreadmotes as "new" items. Maybe they turned theirs in for spells? (I'm not sure if that's Drewinette.)

Yes that's me, and I got them from the Bazaar search tool, too. The old dreadmotes are still there so it's not just a matter of id replacement.
Interesting. What are those crafty developers doing?
