Empires of Kunark
Pages like this are why I love EQ ZAM! Got to the Methods of Sarnak Destruction quest, gathered the mats I had from getting all other quests done, and was surprised to see how few of the Imperial Ores I had, given how many of the mobs I'd killed.
The info here is spot on. I needed three more, got two in the first two kills! Last one took about 6 more kills, but didn't take long at all.

Just like the Dronan ore in Droga, it is not so much which mobs, as where. Aude is correct, but to be more precies, it is in the first couple of areas past Verrin in the fourway area, and the area with the water north of that area, and in the tunnels off the mobs mentioned above. It is not all the way North.

I'd like to to reiterate this. I was doing Chardok for two days straight to complete all merc and partisan tasks. Then when I got up to this part, I was surprised that I only had one ore on me after spending so much time killing mobs. I went back after reaching this step. Sure enough, they started dropping the moment i went past Verrin's area (the next north room) and spent time in the surrounding areas, they were dropping off any of the Sarnak's there.
I had hell of a time to get these to drop of sarnaks in Chardok. I was finally able to find a decent drop rate. It's in the northern tunnels, where Crackjaw spawns, off the sarnaks there. I hope that helps anyone looking to farm these.
