Do the Vah Shir have a similar quest to get items like these? I'm a lev 13 bard in search of some decent armor and a good weapon but need to find a Vah Shir friendly quest like this. Any help would be appreciated.

Currently, I do not believe ANY of the Large races have a complete set (all visible armor slots and a weapon or secondary slot item) of quests like the smaller races, nor do the Iksar.

My HE Bard has now completed the full set. He did it at level 8, too. Easy enough, if you just ask around, people will let you loot most of the quest items. The hardest one to get is the Vial from Willowisps because it's pretty rare. All in all, I'm very happy with this armor.

Though 5/30 isnt that good, it is on par with other weapons at the level of the quest. Since its a newbie human/half-elf quest, it is ideal for some faction, a little exp and a "not the worst weapon in the world"

I think they might be trying to get more people to play humans by giving them some better newbie armor. Think about it it makes sense, no one ever plays humans because of their even stats.
Heck if VI did this to get them to make more human bards then why is it also Half Elf useable?
and btw alot of Bards are humans with the right adjustments they can be much better the Wood elfs or even Half Elfs ( But i doubt the Half elf part )
And with the new luclin Var Shir im surprised there arent bards every where i mean look at there starting stats any there awesome.... Prolly best choose for a Bard , Shammy , Rogue, and Beastlord but then thats kind of given

As long as we donr forget that this is a newbie quest and usefull to a lot of new nontwinks. 5/30 isnt that good, but is about on par for other weapons for this level.

Actually a 6/30 or even 7/30 would be more appropriate. The newbie weapon you start with at level 1 they give you by default is I believe 4/29...at least on my newbie gnome Sk it is. Why would I want to quest for an item that is 1 dmg more and slower?

I just got this today on my bard its not to hard and its a decent wepon for a non-twinked low level bard.
