There was a problem some time back with our Item Collector, since fixed. If you'd like to update this item yourself, download and run the Item Collector as you play.

I'd happily use the Collector and would willingly contribute but I am stuck on Dial-up still so really cannot afford to have anything whatsoever running in the background.
Especially something checking every single thing I am looking at in the Bank for example !

Not exactly renowned for it's friendly atmosphere. If you even ask the time of day you are every n00b****L2p***QQ****pwned""" etc etc known to mankind.
I tend to keep my head down in a Billynomates kind of way and haven't joined a Guild yet.
Rest assured, when the opportunity arises I will certainly broach the Collector thing.
My biggest hope is the "powers that be" one day realise that people living in rural areas (the ones that are providing all the crops and livestock for the super-fast Broadband enabled masses) would also like to participate in the modern age by being Broadband enabled !
Then I'll go Item Collector bonkers, I promise !

Actually I just made one of these today and the main stats are 12/33 with better adds for strength, will post exact numbers later. Hits almost as good for a lvl 13 SK as a MOSS I got from the guild bank
Come to think of it....SKs get a damage bonus when they use 2H weapons...and most SKs you see use 2h weapons...

Someone gave me a crystallized blade which is 13/31, much better than this weapon. I think even the newbie weapon in the gloomingdeep mines is better. They should have made it 10/29 at least then it would have been more desierable.

dont bother doing this quest.
instead ,as early as you possibly can , scrimp & save every copper you can till you get 7 plat then go to bazaar & shadow haven . keep checking npc merchants or kind players for a GIANT MILITIA SWORD , 1hand slash 11dam 35 delay. getting this sword or a weapon wiith similar stats will help you level MUCH , MUCH FASTER... you will not beleive the differnece !!!
also as soon as you get bash put 5 points in the bash skill with your trainer !!!!! get a shield , any shield & put it in secondary weapon slot. again you will not beleive how much more deadly a fighter you will become !
try it , you will love it!

My first post ever.. Why would a shadowknight want this weapon?? It Is Sk quest, but a Sk can't equip it!.. Well done )
my god people obviously you dont know much about shadow knights SHD stands for SHaDow knights. and it would be farely nice for a shadow knight untill he/she got anything better

Look at the picture. Shadowknights CAN wear it, the post just hasn't been updated to reflect that yet.

I've had the leathered zombie flesh drop several times off of the Rotting Initiates that look like zombies.
I agree that the stats on this sword aren't great, but are there any pictures of it anywhere? Cause hey, I'd complete the quest for it if I could run about with a cool-looking sword!

And the newb weapon is not magic. I'm lvl 12 and those wisps and their cashflow source is looking very sweet. I have all this crap in my bank anyway, so why not hop along, get it made, and have a magic weapon with minor stats to whip wisps with...

The stats are pretty much useless for some of the classes. I mean warrs, rogues, pallys, and rangers don't care about int. And by the time bards will they will already have much better wpns. And only 1 str doesn't really help out any of the classes eiter. Maybe they will come back and make it sk useable maybe a troll or sumthin will want it.
ok verant has really messed up here if these are the classes for this weap. It is the DE SK newb weapon from the quest in neriak. so why make it all races and all these classes? ok a DE war may get it but a rogue wouldnt want it and DE cant be bards pally or rangers and it is no drop so why even make it like this? this is retarded. i know they put the int there because it is supposed to be a SK weapon maybe they will change these later on but why not just make it right in the first place? and just when i think they are gettin the hang of making a game they go and do this kind of stuff.

Not worth it, at all...
This item kind of sucks. I mean, even if it is for newbies. An SK's starting sword is 4/24. This is 5/30 with MINOR stats.
Ok, it's a magic weapon, but I'd rather save my money and buy a better weapon, than waste time on this.
Hell, even Dark Elf INT casters get a better weapon than this (5/26 +2 INT)

Yeah, and a cleric's quest weapon is 8/29. Go figure...
