OK, not to sound like a total n00b, how exactly does AC work? I have only played for about a year, so there are some intricacies of the game that I havent worked out yet.
It SEEMS to me that my Iksar enjoys decent damage mitigation for the AC that he has (1.3k unbuffed). But I am not sure what it does except make me harder to kill via melee.
Can anyone post for me a link, or explanation of how this works?

Second, I did not claim to be an expert in EQ. The fact that I know who Brael is is because I do a lot of research (Knowing who Brael is is easy if u read the Shadowknight.org posts). I thanked Shuiken for the link, but I have yet to see a formula that breaks down AC avoidance and AC mitigation. Even the link I was given doesnt show it. If you could provide me that formula I would be greatful. Unless of course, u dont know it either.
I am amazed on how a self professed n00b (only one year of play and a main who is a lvl 56 SK) such as myself could possibly know who Brael is, when u sir (who has done 1000 raids) does not.

Leegattenby, STFU dude. Youre only level 56 and you certainly dunno squat about what youre talking about. Getting all your info from this board and shadowknight.org dont mean you know chit. There's a difference between hands on experience and reading other's opinions. Until you have at least one level 65 with at least 300 AAs, I suggest you just STFU for good cause alot of the stuffs you said on other posts are meaningly except just opinions from a n00b.

According to the recent posting for SOE, the majority of players are lvl 30-lvl 50. What I have posted IS relevant.

EQ and other MMPG's are social games. I play them with my sons because its something that we can do together. If Im at a restraunt and I hear something highly inappropriate, I will say something. When I see crap that people post or tell, expect me to stand up and say something.

I have kicked more *** (in RL) and seen more things (some good, some really bad) then most people in two lifetimes. I have led men in combat, some of who never made it back btw. I think Squire Rexz is a little mad about the remarks we had made about his uber human sk that has never gotten stunned on his 1,000s of raids because he is never the main tank which is pretty sad IMO, either his guild has some uber (human) warriors or he is a mana sponge. Let's guess which one it is . . .

I know Moogs. He is halfling druid, and leader of Caelitus guild if I remember correctly. I have fought besides his toon on occasion. I however, am not part of his guild.
First, I need to know your location and probably an email or another point of contact. I do not want to bore anyone else about our endless banterings. I live in alaska, but I do frequent the lower 48 states. We would need to sign a mutual waiver of liability and set a place to fight. The best places are tough man contests or bars that do ring fights. We would have to contact them to set up a grudge match fight. I have did this before and it is no big deal. There are some boxing clubs that would host a grudge, but that depends on the area.
Again, area is important because of the liability waivers. In florida, I think minimum age is 18 (same as some areas of Canada). Some areas r min age 21. You said that u wernt a teen, so this should not be a problem.
Additionally, depending on where the fight is held, you will be required to have gloves, mouthpeice, ect. Some places, this equipment can be rented.
Note, this only goes for boxing venues. Their are other considerations for full contact bouts (I'm game for that too).

I feel for many of the families who now have to give up their Loved ones for the Inactive Ready Reserve recall. I have read that they are recalling individuals with 8 years or less of active service. They might expand that tho (which my wife is worried about).
The one thing that hit home, is when I saw a buddy I went to flight school with show up on the CNN KIA list. During flight school, we tricked the instructors to think that my friend was about to jump off the barracks roof because they were being rough on him. We dressed up a manaquin and threw it off the roof. You should of seen the look in the cadre's face when he saw a body fall past his office window (priceless). Needless to say, after a thousand push ups later (our whole class was in on that prank), the instructors left him alone.

Don't want to cause any friction here, but is this really the place for this sort of way of speaking to each other? My young son looks on these boards a lot for information and I really don't want him looking at this sort of stuff. I,ve just had him asking what "STFU" means which is why I've just been looking at it too!!!!

To be honest, if you are concerned about your child reading this board, I would recommend you keep him/her away from it.
