Just guessing that this happened to you in Oggok. If so, you were probably fighting one of the caster lizards, and they do in fact blind pretty often. When this has happened (often) to my newbie Ogre Berskerker, he has somehow managed to continue fighting - and when I have been able to see again I've generally found the caster dead.

You can frenzy upto 3 times, your best bet is to have a higher DMG weapon so your frenzy does more dmg.

I have always wanted to get Boots of Buttkicking. I think you should be able to get boots with a huge spike on the toe and do piercing damage. Alas that this bit of realism isn't in place.

My berserker's name is Mminsk. Buttkicking! For goodness!! (alas tha I made him a Troll instead of Barbarian, but I wanted the regen) =)

My 39 zerker has triple frenzed for 185 damage, almost as much as my weapon's max of 187.

Kicking does so little damage I only use it on light blue or green mobs. Of course I might do more the 15 if I used it more often.

I am soloing in Lower guk and my disarm doesn't do well on those agile mobs. Does pretty well on the mobs in Skfire, but not the froggies in Lower Guk.

The stun [hit them on the head] AA is realy good to reduce the damage u take. the leg cut slows well, I use it where the mobs may run and when the intimidation [fear] is over come back with their friends.

Those of you with ogres beware that now you automatically duck when you come to a low overhang -- which turns melee off. I have been stuck in a corner under a torch in L Guk with 4 mobs on me and couldn't move.

There are places that ogres [don't know about the other large races] can't go or get hung up. Best to buy shrink potions or gate potions.

There is a task that sends you to L. Guk, you have to jump off a bridge and swim up river and investigate an area. Trouble is you get stuck on the ladder coming back, and without shrink you can't go under the bridge to use the ladder on the otherside that works. It is along way around through hostile territory if you have to run back the long way.

Still I love ogres.
