this item has a haste percentage of 41% with a weight of 0.0...darn the luck NOT Munky wearable!!!!!!! =;-(
According to in-game stats, now, it's weight 8.0, AC45, and 41% Haste. Same classes, rec level as the pre-"upgraded" version.

i looked up this item on magelo today and it shows it as having a 41% haste? any one able to confirm that or not

There are 2 versions of this cloak, many of the VT items have been upgraded / changed since it was first released.
Version 1 70ac 40hp 5svall
Version 2 45ac 110hp 10svall +41% haste
Not even sure either drops anymore, not had one in 30+ kills.

Posted: Oct 14 2002 at 3:53 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Ok,first thing I am sure Plate Classes at this level(ie:VT Capable)may not need the AC,but I can assure that a Ranger would.As you level you realize Ranger usable items with good AC are almost non-existant.Concider that one the best Ranger BPs is Vengeful Mail of the Void with only a 50AC..this would definately be a fine piece for most chain classes.
Heh, if they are plate class they never have "enough" AC ever, period...

yes this has a lot of AC. but AC really means nothing if you are at this point in the game. AC is capped at around 1350ac(for plate classes) which means if you get higher then that number, nothing really happens. Anyone who is able to goto Vex Thal, not to mention able to kill this mob, more then likely has 1350++ unbuffed, including clerics. As for rangers and rogues, their AC cap is around 1200(might be wrong). Leather classes around 1000, and silk casters around 900.
This item would more then likely goto someone in the guild who isn't fully geared up to the rest of the guild that is lacking AC: ie. clerics that are new.

I like seein peeps argue over crap. And to the one sayin AC isn't anything in the long run, wait till your 60, it'll save your loosing a level by dying or not. AC helps keepin the hits you take low. Take it from me, a professional MT (j/k...but expierienced)it counts when gettin hit for 1,500 , 2,000 , and sometimes 5,000 (got that hit from Emp. Ssraesh...boy did I die). AC, HP, it's NOT all the same. Both work out fine if you let them. My 2kpp. ;)

How can a snake that max's about 950 per hit, hit u for 5k? his DD nuke is only 4k...were is there a 5k?

No offense but this really aint that great. AC is high yes. However after a certain point AC really dosnt do you a whole lot of good. HP is the way to go. And this dosnt have that much. Plus all the stats are pretty low. Verant probably just created this so people would ooo and ahh about the AC but in reality as a ranger I'd rather have a cloak of thorns. Give it to a paly or a sk they cant get a CoT. my 2cp
So like...what are you wearing in YOUR back slot since this ain't that great?

Highest AC known on a breastplate is 80 AC, great shadowed platemail, dropped by inquisitor Seru i think, not sure though

You would think that VI had designed this with everyone in mind, based on the stats. Why not make it all/all? Yes, I do have a monk as one of my characters. However, I also have a shaman, an enchanter, a rogue and a warrior.
