I just got done making 4 stacks of Salmon Roe and got the HQ animation at least 10 times and still only synthed 3 servings. So it is safe to say that there is no HQ for this recipe.
I made some of this yesterday, just for fun.

yup.... well, to actually synth a "batch" of this you need....

Lightning Crystal x 12
Dark Crystal x 12
Cheval Salmon x 12
Rock Salt x 12

First, you cut the salmon open with the lightning crystals. Then, you'll want to take there eggs out. you should get a toatal of 3 dishes per salmon.

Once you've done that, you should have 36 dishes of salmon eggs. then, to each dish, you'll want to use a dark crystal to decay the eggs and salt a little bit. each one of these synths should land you 3 more dishes of Salmon Roe

Now, from here, you have 9 stacks of Salmon Roe. you can either use them to make Ikra Gunkan, or you can sell/eat/give away/GP(if it's asking for them)/whatever you ant to do with your "Red Gold"

I sold mine in dunes, and made a around 10k profit(I bought all materials from AH, stupid, I know). This, I think, was either due to the fact that some smart people taking there jobs through dunes knew this was good, cheap dunes food, or newbs and n00bs couldn't pass up the chance to buy an item described as "Red Gold" for 190g each.
