Dropped down at Yael and fought up to his tower. 60 enc, 60 shm and 54 Bard. Bard unlocks the door. Clear room and side rooms. Enc had golem pet. Turn in idol and he respawn. Tash, malo and slow and Dots. Easy kill. Golem didn't need any heals.

I'm not sure why people still spend time on doing this mob when it is not needed to complete the shaman epic...The shaman epic is all about faction....period....the only item you really need is the Tear from the Iksar Broodling from Fear and to get your TS faction up to max ally, can do this by killing the two mobs in Rathe Mts over and over and doing the turn ins to the wandering spirit in in West Karana until you get the message "Your faction with TrueSpirit could not possibly get any better". Go to CoM with your tear and some friends get to Rak, turn in kill and loot then do turn in to final spirit in EJ....BOOM you are an epic'd Shaman. Hope this helps save some time, headaches and waiting to get help to go into the Hole or CoM for any other reason that to finish the epic.
Well i thought the same there Kurdor. It might have been that ways in the past but aboutthe time PoP came out I was max ally with True spirit... did the turn in and lost the tear. I petitioned and i was told they changed the epics to match the flagging just like the PoP progression.
Do a turn in and get a flag. You have all the flags and you do the last turn in you get the item. Miss any and you have to start over..
Not necessarilly. I had done a lot of faction work with multiple turn ins from rathe. I could not turn in the tear. GM told me that was the problem for the npc not acepting my tear and cleared whole quest faction. I restarted it due to not going through the propper steps.
Odd thing happened.. My shammy was at the point where he has to give the icon to Kirn. When we reached near the undead tower he autoaggroed on my shammy from like 3 floors away. couldnt give him the item. Killed him. No loot. thats wierd. Hes supposed to be non aggro. Well will try again
i have a 45 paladin and a 55 ranger the 45 paladin always goes to the elemental castle and the 55 ranger always goes down to the ruined consturcts and ratman inhabittants and ometimes the broken constructs we got to the place where there were 2 templebound spirits yesterday is he in the castle where the spirits r guarding or is he in the one with the elementals?
High Scale Kirn spawned on the third floor of the castle, /loc -21, 264, -243. You need a key to open the door, link and elsewhere on the forums I read that the doors cannot be lockpicked, but I cannot confirm. Was extremely easy with level 63 Shaman and Qvik-geared 70 monk.
Can the icon be turned in by another person OTHER than a shaman to get the ring? I am sk and have to build my True Spirit faction for my epic as well. What im after is the ring. I want to try to use ring to Spawn the EPIC version of Neh'Ashiir in CoM. I've seen that Neh'Ashiir almost always drops the Torch of Elements after the "Spawned" version and rarely of the normal version. The torch is my objective (yes for my mage's epic) If anyone has tried this and had success or failed please let me know. Thanks
Had a Full group (55 SHM, 55 PAL, 55 CLE, 55 RNG, 55 MNK, 57 ENC) and a tagalong 65 NEC.
We had fought here the night before and killed a lvl 55 Gargoyle that dropped a No Drop Cloak, Page for Keeper of the Seal (something like that) quest, and a Cazic Thule only key. The key opened all the doors in the tower where the epic mobs (chanty, pally, shm) have been moved to.
The hardest part of the building is the first floor, where the floors are so small, it's easy to get 4 or 5 adds that are a ***** to slow.
Had the monk clear to High Scale and I did the turn in. He was blue at 55 before turn in and became Even afterwards, He IS slowable. Easy mob really, we have more problems from the constructs.
The best strategy to get into the building is to move as quickly as possible. The spawns outside are relatively quick if you're not killing fast enough. This was fairly easy for us with the classes/lvls listed above, so anything similar or greater and you should be fine.
Pally epic mob was not up so I guess we'll be going back each night til he is =)

well i went up there with a group of 4 constisting of a 67 bst, a 67 sk, a 57 rogue, as well as my self the lvl 60 shaman, we got up there all right and when we got there i handed in my icon.. and got it back. he told he he didnt need it and i could hand it back. grrr.. well i suspsect that this happened because i havnt turned in in the stuff at CoM (the pages and such). so i will be going to CoM and getting the last page i need the elusive students log lol. and yes on a wim we killed the bastage dead. very easy i didnt even have to heal any one, and no he wont drop the ring that way.. GL to every one doing there quest.
ok let me say for starters hes no longer to the way north of the map. hes now in the tower to the south where there paladin epic and the chanter epic mob spawn before the tunnel to the ranger epic mob.. well took one group to get to him. once you get into the tower there will be 2 ghosts in the first room plus a couple roamers struttin by. try pulling them out of tower and killing them because theres more ghosts to the left and right room and you will get constant aggro else wise. one ur done enter tower and hug right. 2 more ghost and possible roamers take em out and head up the stairs. go straight till you see you can take a right up more stairs. follow them stairs and med break if needed. then move into room. should be 2 more ghost. kill em and head up stairs. if you dont have a rogue or key DONT panic juss get wizzy or maybe a mage thas has eye of zomm to unlock door. room to the left of kirn will be a ghost all by himself kill it then kill kirn. lvl 55 malosi and togors stuck first try. so im thinking no resist. make sure u snare cause he will try to run. loot and bounce. better off using evac if its available or port. unless you have really nice group and want to have some more fun juss walk on out. hope this helps.. by the way.. when i went to north tower there was a whole bunch of lvl 60+ mobs in a room all named bout 6 in total. some names are yet to be heard of on allakhazam. beast page. dunno could be new as of OoW. dont qoute me on that tho :P
Took him down tonight. 2 groups average level of 55. The only hard part was finding him, lol. We went to his old spawn point and he wasn't there.. /sigh. we evaced out and went to what the Warrior called "the courtyard" we went up some stairs to an area with windows, went through the door at the far end, and behind the next door on the right was Kirn, alone in the room. Otherwise he was a push over.

took grosky with a 58 mage, a 58 wizard, 55 druid and 55 rogue. The key to this is know your group and be ready. Spawned on us at the first Black reaver spawn as you unlock the door. My job was to keep the agro off the casters, then evade and let the pet take him. Took us a litle while but we had him. The druid healed nothing but the chater pet and the mage pet, with me, the rogue, if i really needed it. Also had a 15 spawn black reaver on this one, which gave us three reavers. The mob is slowable and can be dotted if tashed, nat a malo line, first. Lords of Torment rocks the house on the nameless server and kiss it baby!!!!
His EXACT loc is : neg15, pos265, neg245. Top floor of the "UT" (Undead Tower), as I think it is called on my server.
When you are the entrance of the tunnel leading down to the ranger epic guy (Jsomething the Wretched), it is the building entrance to the south. Lots of roamers there so if you haven't the powers, proceed carefully. All mobs are dark blue @65 so they WILL add. After some stairs you will reach an open area with "another" building entrance. In that open area the Ghost of Kindle (ench epic) can be found.
Kirn is behind a locked door at the top of that building. Somehow I have been able to unlock the door with an Eye of Zomm (probably because of the corrected nerf with Eyes who were unable to open any door...)
The bug we experienced: our shaman (who was kindly with Kirn) gave him the appropriate item, but Kirn did nothing but saying "I will do nothing to aid beings like you" (the usual kind of faction problem message).
Maybe the shaman messed up something, maybe the quest is broken. Need investigation here.
I have heard a few different things about kirns new spawn point. i know he isnt in his tower initially but is in the city itself...but i have heard that after the turn in he spawns in his tower and you have to fight to the tower just like old times...any clarification on this would be greatly appreciated.
Just killed him tonight. If you are facing out from the blasted gates, he is in the top of the building to the right of the gates. Did the turn in, he despawned and imidiately respawned in this same location but started walking away very quickly. The rest of the party that was waiting out on the walkway caught him as he was walking and successfully killed him. Hope that helps some.
how hard is Kirn really? think a 65 rogue with a few hundred aa's and a 62 shammy could manage it alone? or should we grab a few friends? if so, what classes? I'm not that familiar with the Hole, all I know is it seems to be a pain in the a$$ to get people that wanna go down there.
Hail, If that was all that you have to contend with, you probably could take him. The factors that compound the actual fight is that his resists are extremely high and his mate is equal to him HP, Hit and resist wise. The other factor to consider is that just getting to him you will face many MOBS, none of which by themself are anything to be concerned with, but the aggro can be serious,especially if you are not familiar with the area. It can be a confusing maze. I suggest that you bring at least one strong group consisting of three melee'rs a healer, a cleric and the Shaman. Naturally two groups are better but consider shrinking everyone because that is the other difficulty that you will face; trying to fight in corriders with half the crowd not even seeing the attacking MOB, letr alone get to it to fight. I hope that this helps. oh, and you need a HOLE Key to get i, which is No Drop bought in Paineel. Other methods to get in is to shrink or wolf form everyone and slip through the cracks in the rock door.
