Either this mob is extremely rare or I have extremely bad luck. We currently have a bonus going with double the chance for rare spawns. I camped this mob for 5 hours and saw him one time. Other mobs, such as Head Scientist Wripple and Head Scientist Fizzil, spawn at a rate of better than once per hour with the current bonus. If you're going after steam cores, I'd go elsewhere.
Been camping this guy for a while now.
Have seen him 21 times now, and he's dropped the following:
Steam core: Dedicant - 9 time
Steam core: Purification - 7 times
Wire Wrapped Sceptre - 5 times
He can spawn off of either of the 2 WANDERING mobs in the first large room after the elevator in SHIP. He won't spawn in the static spots.
His average DPS against an 80 monk (3.1k AC, 15% shielding, 75~ avoidance, max defensives, 8% dodge mod, Improved Block II) is about 1100 - 1300. I need 2 healers to keep up with his damage output. No special effects, no ramp, no flurry. I'd estimate his total HP at about 190k.

He spawned at the back of the big room on the lower level in the S.H.I.P.

Did not see invis. Enraged at 10%. Seemed like low hp. Looked like a blob, but not your typical ooze in appearance. I am thinking he was a melted gnome. Dropped one steam core each time: Purifcation the first time, and Dedicant the second time. But on a prior day, no spawns in four hours.
