EQ:mez  

Spell series that causes NPCs to halt in their tracks and do nothing until the effect wears off. Mez will be broken if the NPC is hit with a damaging spell (nuke or DoT tick) or if hit via melee. Debuff-type spells with no active damaging component will not break mez.
