Wrap type item -- wrist, hands, arms, necklace, waist or face (like a headband?). A lot of possibilities.

One of my guild members has it, (maybe it is 1.5)it is a primary or secondary hand to hand weapon and for stats it is an 21 damage (extra Magic 1 damage too)18 delay with +20 to +30 on the 4 important stats and has improved flying kick damage with a built in stun too. It also has 3 +20 to saves. Sorry ti got linked to me but I do not remember the exact details, Once I get mine I will post them.

I agree those look like prayer beads to me, usually worn along the forearm/wrist and held in the hand or alternatively worn about the neck. Somehow this new epic augments a monks fists to display that electrical effect about the hands shown in the picture. The may vary well augment a monks barefists but one should note the effect most have seen on Lucy add's a proc to you rather then being a worn effect. So that would function reguardless of you being armed or unarmed.

Maybe it is a set of prayer beads worn over and around the hand ala Miroku's prayer beads in the InuYasha anime. The proc could be variable depending on which stone is placed in the palm area.

I say its a neck slot...only way to keep the old epic in place and not force any monks to use h2h only.They will make it to where you can have this and still use the weapon of your choice. I my self prefer 2hb and my AA reflects that.Stuff like Punishing Blade, which is 2hb only.
From what ive read it has a proc thats a DD and movement/avoidence buff and has a focus effect that extends the length of the Innerflame disc.

Those little tablet things maybe the monk holds on them with there hands to make that lightning go around its hand.. its a though.

Here's my guess. Epic is Primary slot only. Makes both hands identical weapons with identical abilities pending nothing is equipped in Secondary. Each fist would be rated at 25dmg/18dly. Add in the chance to score Dragon Punch/Tail Rake, Eagle Strike, and Tiger Claw with each hand every round. Meaning you could execute one, two, or all three of those skills with each hand every round. Also slap in a 100 to 150 DD proc just for fun.
Adding that up, one could achieve up to 12 attacks and two DD procs in one round. Maybe that's a little too much. Oh well, like I said it's just a guess. Oh yeah, throw in some sort of swirly lightning effect around each hand for those worried about how they look.

Your all wrong. Think about it for a second. The prayer beads that are used are never worn, they are always held. My guess is that this equips in the weapon slot and increases Damage of punches by either having a specific attack/delay or modifying the damage done with fists, then a proc is added as you see the lightning around the fist. Maybe the proc is interchangeable due to the fact that there are 3 different stones making 3 different kind of procs available. Thats my guess guys. Take it easy.

Actually, I think your all thinking WAY to simple. Whats the 1 thing all martial arts have in common? Belts. So I am thinking this is a waiste slot item with graphics added to hands/wrist area.
I agree on the belt thing. I think rather than being a three-part epic, it may actually affect the three special attack pictured somehow. Would make sense based on the OOW aa's that have been released.

I think that if it was a bracelet wouldnt the artist have drawn it on the wrist in the picture after all the artist did take the time to blow up the picture of the 3 larger stones on the necklace... Just my take
Dragon, Eagle, Tiger, surprised no one picked up on these they are monk attacks.
Dragon punch, Eagle strike, Tiger claw, the stones might be modifers to the damage or even effects to these attacks??

Dragon punch is not a monk attack, ... if you are an Iksar! Tail Rake is the supplement, ... but an astute observation non the less. Gratz!

Actually it's not a bracelet. It looks to be something similar to Buddhist prayer beads, which are similiar in purpose to Catholic rosary beads.
I'm going with the idea/hope that it fits in either neck or wrist slots. It may well give an innate proc to the wearer. An actual lightning graphic around the fist/forearm areas would be awesome.

My take on this picture is its a weapon....but not really looking like a weapon. The bracelet <so it looks like at least> probably gets put on and "enchants" the hand of the wearer. Probably giving the monks had a nice lightning effect like the Ranger epic 1.0. And it also seems that each stone hsa a different animal, maybe the effect will be something like "Wrath of the Wilds" but then it'd sound too beastlord-esque. And if you didnt notice from the stone, Eagle Strike, Tiger Claw and Dragon Punch are all monk moves, and those animals are all pictured on the stones. Leaves alot to be figured out.

Just hope that the lightning effect around the fist is a real graphic, a new original graphic, and not like a continuous Yaulp (or other low-level Str buff). Still, that would be better than all the stupid "fist" graphics. I remember when Essence of Dol was the only one with that graphic, it was ok, but now they just suck! Very overused. Would like to be able to see my claws through the lightning encircling them.
It just dosn't look as good as the other epics. Once again the monks go by the wayside.
Flashy weaponry is antithetical to the monk's philosophy. The simplicity is intentional in this case, I'd say.

Are they seperate because they are augments or are their 4 pieces needed (bracelet and 3 stones)?
They always said you didn't need your original epic, that it would only help you skip some steps. Hopefully, they effects of both will stack or compliment one another.

the bracelet looks like it has the stones on it.... It might pieces you need to gather. And then it looks rapped around the wrist of the arm.... this thing better have a good looking partical/clicky effect. The effects now are kinda lacking looking at the other epics out there.

notice it has 3 different colored stones on the necklace/wrist item. and how the artist went out of his way to draw those 3 stones larger but not connected to the item, in the center of hte picture ? could this mean there are 3 forms ? 1hb/2hb/h2h ?
Certainly looks to be a wrist slot item. That would be nice. Would be able to keep Celestial Fists, weapon of choice and epic 2.0 equipped.
After 16 years, I'm not listing every friggin character.

You should play a different game then. Its a monk class not a ninja.
Kind of disappointed by look of monk epic. Looks like a lot of other items already in EQ. All the other epic 2.0 look original.
