June 2, 2004 patch

Today's patch message: June 2nd, 2004 ---------------------- Collision fixes collide with servers! Collision ---------------------- - When you are summoned by NPCs or players smaller than you, the collision system will now scan a limited area near the destination to find a place to put you so that you will not be stuck in the terrain. - A problem related to collision data being out of sync on the client and server has been corrected and should solve the problems many of you have been seeing with NPCs being pushed into walls. - The sunken NPC and character problem has been much improved. You will still find the occasional NPC at a spawn point that is sunk or elevated slightly, but the NPC should move normally once engaged. Cabilis Quests ---------------------- - The Battle plans from Dalnir should be a little easier to obtain. - The loyal follower in Dreadlands should no longer be a merchant with an empty inventory. - The traitor necromancers seek should be a little easier to find. - Wyzith's belongings should now combine correctly. -- The EverQuest Team

I seem to have perma 1017 since this patch, its not my router as i tryed with the router and the cable modem... still no con to EQ servers

Does this fix the problem of dying in the POK Library elevator (falling)? When I would try to loot my own corpse, it would say, "Someone is already looting that corpse". I had to get a necro to summon it. Every time.

Still DtC sunk into wall and seems like stuck in wall in last night. Fortunately, just after MT down he could get out from wall and jump onto our cleric and we could hit him again, lol. A character still stuck with various place.

This patch also made it so tinting of clothes is done properly on my computer by default. Excellent!

hmm, anyone now getting stuck in simple places? Just running around the hills in The Great Divide and I've gotton like 3 times in places I really shouldnt have. Dropped whatever illusions and stuff which broke me free.

Also, I don't know whats up with this...just my UI or something (just know I didn't have it last night) every one of my bard songs is taking longer then the casting bar to actually cast. So I try to start a new song after the bar ends and it stops the first one cause it really wasn't finished. I'm gonna look around for this one.

Your songs problem is caused by a slight lag. I get that often on spells only thing Ive found to do is reset modem and try to get rid of teh lag ;)

woot, no more "you cannot see your target" when trying to cast heal spells because they are in the ground (or at least the computer seemed to think they were)

Now if they would just get on those Darn Berserker AA
