Extended Downtime Beginning Thursday

Servers are expected to be down for a full 24 hours beginning this Thursday morning (or "Wednesday night" for you nighthawks!) as EverQuest Free to Play. Your Way. launches:

On Thursday, March 15, 2012, at 12:01 AM PDT* (midnight) the EverQuest servers will be taken offline in preparation for the launch of EverQuest Free to Play. Your Way. Downtime is expected to last until Friday, March 16, 2012, at 12:01 AM PDT (midnight).

This year we are combining the Anniversary update with EverQuest going free-to-play, so the servers will be down for a full 24 hours. More information about the 13th Anniversary will be posted later this week.

The Hummingbird: It stands for immortality. Or sometimes the Sun. Hummingbird is seen by some as a messenger of love and joy. It symbolises energy, wonder and swift action. It is associated with the Ghost Spirit native American religion which teaches a dance that is intended to return the natural balance of the world. thanks to wiki answers.

Almost a day last week, another day this week.

Be prepared for a ton of people thinking we should get reimbursed for the downtime and then another wave of Sony apologists behind them. They should have done all this last week...we were already pissed about it, another day wouldnt be too much worse
