Kiara posted on the official forums that there will be a brief hotfix Friday morning.

We'll be bringing the servers down for a brief hotfix to the Erollisi Day bow and arrow of love at 5am PST for the US servers and 9pm PST for Runnyeye and Splitpaw.

Also, the planned downtime for Crushbone, Befallen, and Permafrost has been move to 5am PST.

After 6 years of playing EQ2 I would really love it if a kind person at SOE would be so good as to actually include in the server downtime message something other than BRIEF UPDATE ! These brief updates last anywhere from an hour to 7 hours ! LoL

If I told my wife I was going to play EQ2 for a brief time I think she may be a little upset if I didnt come back for hours !

Wonder if anyone at SOE reads this too comment.

I am sure we would all be very grateful for this little thing.

We understand that problems do occur with patches if they dont work but an estimate would be great to knwo when we have to try and hammer the login button !
