Hotfix for September 25, 2009

From the patcher:

*** Hotfix ***

*** Events ***

- We have removed the raid level loot drops from the Classic Missions and replaced them with Brew Point rewards. We have also removed the raid level loot items from the Brew Point vendor. This is temporary pending changes that might be made to these reward items in the near future. Thank you for your patience while we work out a solution.

- We have added a requirement that 12 characters be in the zone to open the raid chests (Naggy and Vox) in the Classic Missions. For group missions at least two people must be in the zone to loot the chest.

- If you obtain any McKenzie's Special Brew while you are in a classic mission, be sure to use the Reclaim button on the currency tab of your inventory before leaving the zone!

*** NPC ***

- Old Man McKenzie will not sell many of the Vox or Nagafen items that he sold previously. This is temporary pending changes that might be made to these reward items in the near future. Thank you for your patience while we work out a solution.

I see the high end guild's point but also I see the lower end guild's point maybe SOE leaves the loot available but for more brew points or make the raids tougher removing it is stupid IMO these raids are fun really bring back old memories for me but leave the loot in game or make it evolve

I was grouped with a raider today in Korafax and i won the eternal BP gem he really wanted. I am punishing all the raiders for getting this nerfed. Let's see how well they do without the good will of the groupers.

I urge everyone who's upset about this to withhold buffs and help from those selfish, greedy, pigs. Don't join their raiding guilds either!

1. IF you were actually grouped with a "raider" and IF he actually wanted the item you claim to have won, it is highly unlikely the "raider" will care that you won. Most, if not all, "raiders" are well aware that any item they desire will be available to them in short order.

2. IF you were actually grouped with a "raider" and IF he actually wanted the item you claim to have won, and IF you expressed your idea for "revenge" on "raiders", rest assured you will, undoubtedly, no longer be welcomed by said "raider" or his "raiding" guild or, for that matter, in any other "raiding" guild in future.

3. IF you were actually grouped with a "raider" and IF he actually wanted the item you claim to have won, and IF your behavior in game is anything at all like your behavior on these and other boards (where you posted this exact same message), rest assured you will, undoubtedly, no longer be welcomed in most groups let alone raids on your server. People do have a way of communicating about such behavior.

4. IF you were actually grouped with a "raider" and IF he actually wanted the item you claim to have won, and IF you actually think "raiders" are in some way "dependent" on "groupers" for anything other than pleasant gaming companions, you can rest assured YOUR suggestion to "withhold" buffs and to "withhold" help will have "raiders" falling on the floor in fits of hysterical laughter.

Enjoy your winnings.

Oh, you certainly don't seem the least bit interested in knowing that "raiders" had very little if anything to do with the changes ongoing and upcoming to the "Classic Monster Mission" events and to the gear, but that it was, in fact, those who play the "group" game who first brought the inequities of the gear to the attention of the Developers.
