Quests for The Rathe Mountains

Adventurer's Stone (Normal): Short version

Once you reach level 15, you will receive a "mysterious message:"

A mysterious voice whispers to you, 'If you can feel me in your thoughts, know this -- something is changing in the world and I reckon you should be a part of it. I do not know much, but I do know that in every home city and the wilds there are agents of an organization called the Wayfarers Brotherhood. They are looking for recruits . . . If you can hear this message, you are one of the chosen. Rush to your home city, or search the West Karanas and Rathe Mountains for a contact if you have been exiled from your home for your deeds, and find out more. Adventure awaits you, my friend.'

If you are not sure what town you started in, you can also go to the Rathe Mountains gypsy camp or the SE corner of Western Karana. Once you arrive there, you will receive another "mysterious message" telling you to find a specific NPC. You need to find the person mentioned and hail him. He will tell you about the wayfarer camps and mention 5 more NPC's - one per camp. Head to a camp and talk to the NPC there and he will ask you some questions. Answer them and you will get flagged to use the adventure system and the Magus teleports that take you from camp to camp.

Detailed Version

This is the introduction you'll see in Greater Faydark. Others will be very similar.

A mysterious voice whispers to you, 'If you can feel me in your thoughts, know this -- something is changing in the world and I reckon you should be a part of it. I do not know much, but I do know that in every home city and the wilds there are agents of an organization called the Wayfarers Brotherhood. They are looking for recruits and . . . If you can hear this message, you are one of the chosen. Rush to your home city, or search the West Karanas and Rathe Mountains for a contact if you have been exiled from your home for your deeds, and find out more. Adventure awaits you, my friend.'

You have entered The Greater Faydark.

A mysterious voice whispers to you, 'Enyaanuia Windancer in the tavern by Trueshots Bows has just joined the Wayfarers Brotherhood and has some information about them, and how you can start doing odd jobs for them. You looked like the heroic sort, so I wanted to contact you . . . discreetly.'

You say, 'Hail, Enyaanuia Windancer'

Enyaanuia Windancer says 'Come to find out about the Wayfarers Brotherhood, hm? I think I saw you around here long ago. Because you are familiar to me, I will trust you with some [information].'

You say, 'I want some information.'

Enyaanuia Windancer says 'The Wayfarers Brotherhood is pretty particular about who they do business with. You will need to prove yourself to them. You can start gaining their gratitude by helping them. The Wayfarers Brotherhood will ask you to answer some questions when you first meet with them. They tend to call all of their assignments 'adventures.' You'd do well to keep that in mind as they'll be more likely to give you some tasks. There is other information that makes them easier to [deal with] too.'

You say, 'Deal with?'

Enyaanuia Windancer says 'There are several camps of Wayfarers Brotherhood explorers around the world. In each camp you'll find a trusted Wayfarers Brotherhood member that has the task of recruiting adventurers that will take on interesting, and potentially lethal, [work]. Some members will tell you stories, if they think you are worthy of learning such prized information. Others will share their treasures with you, but only if you do work for them.'

You say, 'Work?'

Enyaanuia Windancer says 'The Wayfarers Brotherhood believes in giving something for something. For each adventure you take from them, they will add you to their Favor Journal. With the points of Favor that their record keepers have counted for you, you can trade your good Favor for wonderful treasures and goods. Also, the more adventures you do for the Wayfarers Brotherhood, the more your Favor increases. The harder jobs get you more Favor, by the way. As you gain more Favor, the Wayfarers Brotherhood treasure keepers will let you peek at some of their more unique and sought after items. So, it pays to get in good with them, you see! And there's [more]!'

You say, 'There's more?'

Enyaanuia Windancer says 'You should also know that there are five magi in the Wayfarers Brotherhood that have found very unique magic stones in the world that they are able to use to transport adventurers to one another. They have placed a magus with one of these stones at each large camp. They call it Farstone Magic. And that's not the only [interesting ore] we've seen lately.'

You say, 'Interesting ore -- you are messing with me, elf woman!'

Enyaanuia Windancer says 'We've found some strange items off the dead in the dungeons. At first we just thought they were simple things -- rocks, pebbles, gems, and the like -- and then we noticed they had very unusual auras about them. Well, one day, Morden Rasp was toying with one -- a shiny green shard -- and he went to scrape it with his dagger. Suddenly, the shard began to reform and fused with his dagger. While the dagger remained as fine as ever, Morden himself felt a surge of strength! So, you will want to watch out for these strange magic pieces in the world. Now, I suggest you go talk to Selephra Giztral, Barstre Songweaver, Vual Stoutest, Teria Grinntli, or Ruanya Windleaf. They handle all of those who are interested in working for the Wayfarers Brotherhood and getting rewards. Remember well what I've told you!'

You have completed a step toward becoming a great adventurer. Well done!

In the Everfrost Peaks:

You say, 'Hail, Teria Grinntli'

Teria Grinntli says 'Welcome stranger. I'm afraid you must answer some questions before I can consider opening our wealth of skill and knowledge to you. First, what does the Wayfarers Brotherhood call the tasks they will ask you to do for them?'

You say, 'Give me adventures!'

You have completed a step toward becoming a great adventurer. Well done!

Teria Grinntli says 'We will reward based on your improving position with the Wayfarers Brotherhood. We keep a certain type of log that records how often and well you help us. What is it called?'

You say, 'It's a favor journal.'

You have completed a step toward becoming a great adventurer. Well done!

Teria Grinntli says 'Who discovered that some treasures have strange magical properties by poking one with his dagger?'

You say, 'Morden Rasp'

You have completed a step toward becoming a great adventurer. Well done!

Teria Grinntli says 'Our brilliant magi use a special kind of magic to help teleport us between camps. What is it called?'

You say, 'A farstone'

Teria Grinntli says 'Congratulations! I believe now that you are trustworthy enough to take on some of the adventures the Wayfarers Brotherhood have to give. We will be able to continue with our discussions once you complete some adventures. We can also help you with travel between our camps. Be well, fair Guiscard. I'm sure, someday, you will be a great addition to the Wayfarers Brotherhood.'

You have completed a step toward becoming a great adventurer. Well done!
Your faction standing with Wayfarers Brotherhood has been adjusted by 100.

Teria Grinntli says 'Take this Adventurer Stone with you on your journeys into the dungeons. You will find it useful. Should you lose it somehow, come talk to me and I'll replace it.'

Rewards:
- Faction with Wayfarers Brotherhood
- Adventurer's Stone (needed to use the Magus portals)

These same steps will work on any of the following NPCs: Selephra Giztral, Barstre Songweaver, Vual Stoutest, Teria Grinntli, and Ruanya Windleaf.

Upon the hail that maxes out the stats of your Adventurer's Stone, you will see in red:

It's time to acknowledge you as a Wayfarer. Give Chaenz Abella in the Commonlands your Adventurer Stone and he'll replace it with your very own Wayfarers Emblem. Or, if it's being used in a charm, you must remove it to get your new one. And, if you simply destroy the stone, he will replace it with your much-deserved emblem. Just tell him you want your [emblem].

Head to Chaenz Abella in the Wayfarer's camp in the Commonlands.

Chaenz Abella says 'I heard you had become knowledgeable about all aspects of the dungeons we've found. I must confess that I never had you pegged for such a great adventurer! I suppose I should welcome you -- as a member of the Wayfarers Brotherhood. The honor is well deserved. Congratulations!'

Chaenz Abella says 'Here is a token of my appreciation. Should you lose your Wayfarers Brotherhood Emblem or misplace it, I or Barstre, Selephra, Ruanya, Teria, or Vual will replace it.'

Receive Wayfarers Brotherhood Emblem. Reward: Adventurer's Stone
Reward: Wayfarers Brotherhood Emblem

Boots of Ro (Normal): Nicholas is located at the paladin camp on a hill in the northeast part of the Mountains of Rathe. You need Amiable faction with Clerics of Underfoot to get this quest. You also need Amiable with Temple of Solusek Ro to get the Ronium.

You say, 'Hail, Nicholas'

Nicholas says, 'Greetings, friend. I am the keeper of the [Boots of Ro]. Please rest here with us in our camp of righteousness. No harm can come to you while we paladins keep watch.'

You say, 'Boots of Ro'

If you are not amiable:

"You and I must be brothers and serve the Lord of Underfoot. Go to Kaladim and serve her cathedral. When you think you are ready. then ask Lord Datur if you are an [honored member] of the temple. If the answer is yes. then I will trust you."

Once Amiable:

Nicholas says, 'If you desire the mold needed for smithing the Boots of Ro, then first, you shall prove your power. I have long sought an ancient holy weapon called the brazen brass kilij. I have heard rumors of detailed plans on how to make it, coming from Faydwer. Seek out the kilij plans. Bring them to me and you shall have the mold.'

The Kilij Plans drop off Sandgiant Husam in South Ro. Give the plans to Nicholas and receive Mold of Ro Boots.

Nicholas says, 'Ahh! The kilij! The legend was true. As for you... the mold for the Boots of Ro. Go and speak with Thomas for the final component. Ask him of [Lord Searfire]. Brell be with you.

Thomas says, 'It is an alloy created from two rare metals. Only [Lord Searfire] knows the formula.'

Now head to the Temple of Solusek Ro and meet Lord Searfire there

You say, 'what bar of ronium?'

Lord Searfire says 'You seek ronium. It is a fine blend of metals. I alone hold the secret of its formula. I, and I alone, can offer it to those who serve this temple. Do you wish a [bar of the alloy]?'

You say, 'I wish a bar of the alloy.'

If you don't have Amiable faction with Temple of Solusek Ro:

Breastplate of Ro (Normal): /loc of Abigail?

Example of a quest with multiple faction requirements.

You need somewhere around 25 faction (mid indifferent) to get the quest from Abigail (Clerics of Tunare) and amiable to get the needed Bar of Ronium from Lord Searfire (Temple of Sol Ro).

You say, 'Hail, Abigail'

Abigail says 'Greetings! I am the holder of the secret of the [Breastplate of Ro]. You may rest here. You are quite safe within this camp of paladins.'

You say, 'What Breastplate of Ro?'

If less than around 25 faction (low indiff):

You need to prove your loyalty to my temple. Go to Felwithe and seek out the Clerics of Tunare. Prove to them your faith. Then ask the leader of this church if you are a [honored member].

Go to Felwithe and find the paladin guildmaster Tynkale. If you hail him he says. "Hail, noble _____! Can you be of [service to the Clerics of Tunare] or are you not from our order?"

Ask him "am I an honored member?" and he responds with "Yes. The light of righteousness shines from within you." when you have sufficient faction or "When you have furthered your service to the Paladins of Tunare, we shall make conversation." if you do not.

Once over:

Abigail says 'The Breastplate of Ro mold will be awarded to you. First, you will perform a test of strength. Go to Faydwer. There you shall seek out and destroy the Teir'Dal who carry the dark cauldrons!! They have been venturing into our lands and capturing many Koada'Dal and Fier'Dal for cooking purposes! Bring to me two of their dark cauldrons.'

The Dark Cauldron drops from "an ancille cook." Hand in two:

Abigail says 'I instructed you to return with no less than two dark pots.'
Abigail says 'You have earned the mold. You will now need go and speak with Thomas about [Lord Searfire].'
Your faction standing with Clerics of Tunare got better.
Your faction standing with King Tearis Thex got better.
Your faction standing with Anti-Mage got better.
You gain experience!!

You receive a Mold of Ro Breastplate.

/loc of Thomas?

You say, 'Hail, Thomas'

Thomas says 'Welcome to our camp. We are paladins gathered from many lands. We have been called to this land by our deities. Ours is a crusade of righteousness. Have you happened upon us by chance or do you [seek the sacred molds]?'

You say, 'Who is Lord Searfire?'

Thomas says 'Lord Searfire is a great forge master. He was called forth to the land of fire lakes. It is said that he now toils in the name of Solusek Ro within a hidden temple of that land. He and he alone knows how to obtain [ronium], a needed component for forging the sacred Armor of Ro.'

You say, 'What is ronium?'

Thomas says 'It is an alloy created from two rare metals. Only [Lord Searfire] knows the formula.'

Once you get the mold for an item, you need to talk to Lord Searfire, the Dwarven Smith in The Temple of Solusek Ro. He must consider you amiably (with which faction?) before he will deal with you. He will then give you the Sol Cauldron and tell you how to do the next step, which is acquiring the ingredients to make the metal ronium. These are: Melatite (Dropped by MB and MC Clockworks in Solusek's Eye. You can also sometimes buy them from the Gnomes in Solusek's Eye since many players sell them if they find them), Two Bars of Enchanted Platinum, Mistmoore Granite (from Gargoyles in Mistmoore), the Sands of Ro (from sand giants) and Soil of Underfoot (Get from Priestess Ghalea in the Kaladim cleric's guild for 4 fairy dusts [need at least amiable faction for this]). Put them in the cauldron and hit the combine button and you will get a bar of ronium. You do not need the blacksmithing skill to combine these.

Once you get the ronium, you need to combine it with the mold in a forge to make your item. Any regular forge will do (don't use the race forges). You need at least 15 skill points in blacksmithing for this.

Need all dialogues, current faction hits if any, /loc's of quest mobs, quest items, minimum faction information, any other missing information. Reward: Breastplate of Ro

Dar Initiate Armplates (Normal): Hail, Dar Master Griblok

Dar Master Griblok says 'Welcome back, young Dar. I hope your training is going well. Unfortunately, I have been unable to keep up to date on your progress, but should you need advanced training in any individual skills, I am here to help you with that. Also, though you've chosen a life of adventure, remember that you may still be called upon to defend your homeland. To do this, you must be well prepared for war. Let me tell you what little I know of this land and aid you in your [first steps].'

What first steps?

Dar Master Griblok says 'The city is a place of sanctuary for all Frogloks. We count many friends among the good races of the land, but we have few true allies yet. We are bordered by the evil Feerrott to the south and the desolate Southern Desert of Ro to the north. Even Guk, the city-dungeon whose entrance you will see as you wander the swamp, has its darker aspects. We will need to build our might if we are to survive. Are you by chance a [new warrior]?

I am a new warrior.

Dar Master Griblok says 'Ah, good. The Army and its reserve are always in need of fresh courage. Every new warrior must attempt the training I personally oversee. I say attempt because these exercises will test you to the very limit. Now, if you have enough of the courage we seek, we [may begin].

You may begin

Dar Master Griblok says 'Good. Take this Field Armorer Kit. It will allow you to use the [looted valuables] and even bodies of your enemies to form basic armor materials. These basic materials will prove quite valuable. When placed into a forge along with the proper mold, it will allow you to craft your own Armor of the Dar Initiate.

You receive Field Armorer's Kit

What looted valuables?

Dar Master Griblok says 'As I said, spoils of war and bodies will provide the supplies you need. Innothule Swamp, the murky land just beyond the city gates, holds some of the items you seek. You may also have to talk to local merchants to locate the odd piece. When you are ready to attempt these quests, you need only tell me what you [want] and I will provide further instruction. I can teach you the recipes and give you the armor molds for the Armor of the Dar Initiate [Helm], [Breastplate], [Armplates], [Bracer], [Gauntlets], [Leggings], and [Boots].

I want Breastplate

You receive a Breastplate mold.

Dar Master Griblok says 'The final shield. Yes. But its construction will not be easy. Go and seek some Pristine Moccasin Scales, Burly Kobold Ears, a Pristine Alligator Hide and some Moccasin Poison. Combine these ingredients in your kit. When you have the proper basic material in hand, take it to a forge along with this mold to finish your Breastplate of the Dar Initiate. Once so armored, you'll be well prepared for a [greater task]. Reward: Breastplate of the Dar Initiate

Dar Initiate Gauntlets (Normal): Hail, Dar Master Griblok

Dar Master Griblok says 'Welcome back, young Dar. I hope your training is going well. Unfortunately, I have been unable to keep up to date on your progress, but should you need advanced training in any individual skills, I am here to help you with that. Also, though you've chosen a life of adventure, remember that you may still be called upon to defend your homeland. To do this, you must be well prepared for war. Let me tell you what little I know of this land and aid you in your [first steps].'

What greater task?

Dar Master Griblok says 'War often brings out the worst, it is said. Sadly one of our very own grew greedy when he saw the trolls' treasure. Sergeant Herptol fell to temptation, ignoring the voice of our Lord that had commanded us to ignore the tainted loot. He fled the city and his rightful punishment. I've learned he's hiding out in the northern reaches of the Innothule. Go. Find him. Slay him and recover what he stole. Bring me a Larvae Skin and some Bull Alligator Spines. When you return the recovered loot and these items, I shall craft you a sword. Reward: Swampblade of the Dar

Fungus Armor (Removed): Goona Seesoo says 'Hello, ______. Heard about my special armor and couldn't resist visiting eh?'

    You say, 'what special armor'

Goona Seesoo says 'I have learned how to make a light-weight armor out of a particular type of fungus that can be found in Innothule. It is very nice armor for an aspiring adventurer. Do you wish for me to craft you some?'

You say, 'i do wish for you to craft me some'

Goona Seesoo says 'I can make you a piece of armor, but first you will need to gather some Fungus Clumps. They only grow on the Fungus Man Watchers in the swamp. If you come across four of these clumps, hand them to me and I will make you a piece of armor.'
Goona Seesoo says 'Thanks, but I need four Fungus Clumps to make a piece of armor for you.'

Gauntlets of Ro (Normal): 1) You need to get the mold for the item. You do this by fetching the quest items and turning them in to the NPC who gives the item quest. You need to have an amiably faction to get these quests. If your faction is not high enough, they will request that you go to their guild and talk to someone there first before getting the quest. Faction is needed with the Temple of Marr in Freeport [Priests of Marr] to get the quest. If you are not given the quest outright, go ask Gygus Remnara at the Temple if you are an [honored
member] and if he answers yes you have good enough faction for the quest. Bring her the locket from Sentry Alechin of Qeynos [approx level 31. you can kill him or as a guard or werewolf (SK) and get it] and she will reward you with the mold for the Gauntlets.

    2) Once you get the mold for an item, you need to talk to Lord Searfire, the Dwarven Smith in The Temple of Solusek Ro. He must consider you amiably before he will deal with you.

    3) Once you get the ronium, you need to combine it with the mold in a forge to make your item. Any forge will do. You no longer need the blacksmithing skill for this.

    Dialogue:

    You say, 'Hail, Sentry Joanna'

Sentry Joanna says, 'Love and passion to you, my friend. Seek you the [Gauntlets of Ro]? If not, then I offer you the safety of this camp.'

    You say, 'Gauntlets of Ro'

Sentry Joanna says, 'I will give you the mold, but first you will complete a task in the name of Erollisi Marr. My fellow Sentry, Alechin, was bitten by a wolf while he journeyed to Qeynos. He now turns into a werewolf at night, forced to kill innocent travelers. Go toward Qeynos. Release him from life and his curse and return his locket to me.'

    And the turn in:

Sentry Joanna says, 'Thank you my friend. It is good to see him free at last. I shall miss him. Here now is the mold of gauntlets as promised. Go and speak with Thomas for information about [Lord Searfire].'

Your faction standing with Priests of Marr has been adjusted by 20.
Your faction standing with The Freeport Militia has been adjusted by -2.
Your faction standing with Knights of Truth has been adjusted by 3.
You gain experience! Reward: Gauntlets of Ro

Greaves of Ro (Normal): /loc of Elisabeth?

Example of a quest with multiple faction requirements.

You need somewhere around 25 faction (mid indifferent) to get the quest from Elisabeth (Knights of Truth) and amiable to get the needed Bar of Ronium from Lord Searfire (Temple of Sol Ro).

    You say, 'Hail, Elisabeth'

Elisabeth says 'Very good to meet you, ______. I am the keeper of the [Greaves of Ro]. Please feel free to rest and recuperate here. We shall see that you are safe from the evils of the Rathe Mountains.'

You say, 'What Greaves of Ro?'

Elisabeth says 'Go to the countryside of Freeport. There, you shall seek out any nightfall giants . They have terrorized the countryside for too long. They have protection from common weapons. Rely on magic. I failed in tracking them down. You shall succeed and when return any single head to me, you shall be awarded the mold for the greaves.'

    1) You need to get the mold for the item. You do this by fetching the quest items and turning them in to the NPC who gives the item quest. You need to have an amiably faction to get these quests. If your faction is not high enough, they will request that you go to their guild and talk to someone there first before getting the quest. These are: Melatite (Dropped by MB and MC Clockworks in Solusek's Eye. Guja Token No. 5 (Normal): What are the minimum requirements for this quest?

After handing in your Thrice Notched Guja Token to Sugal the Fist:

Sugal the Fist says 'I wish I could say I welcome your return. But news has reached us. Apparently you did your job too well. The Lizardmen are even now readying for war. We cannot afford that fight. The council has decided we must . . .accept [another option].'

    You say, 'Another option?'

Sugal the Fist says 'The Lizardmen have challenged us, demanding that you represent Gukta. Should you win, war will be averted and many lives spared. Of course, it may mean your [own life].'

You say, 'I will give my own life.'

Sugal the Fist says 'I applaud your bravery, ______. Come victory or death, you will always be remembered. Go to the obelisk bridge in front of the temple. Give your Guja Token to their emissary. It was the only sign they would accept to guarantee your identity. And it means you will only have one chance. Be wary. They are not to be trusted.'

You will need at least a healer with you, preferably more. You need to hand your Thrice Notched Gukta Token to Emissary Shinsere. After handing it in, Thurgal the Champion, a hasted warrior with a large amount of hps, will spawn. The emissary is a cleric and will assist Thurgal. Both were blue at 40th level.

Once defeated, Thurgal will drop his tongue. The emissary drops nothing. Take the tongue to Sugal as proof of your actions.

Sugal the Fist says 'Well done! The Lizardmen have been spurned. They will lick their wounded pride for months. This is a great victory for Gukta, ______. Here, take my own sigil of the Guja. And my shield. They are the best gifts I can think to give. Wear them proudly. You are truly a Guja now.'

Need faction hits if any and actual name of tongue. Reward: Sugal's Sigil
    Reward: Sugal's Shield

Helm of Ro (Normal): Example of a quest with multiple faction requirements.

You need somewhere around 25 faction (mid indifferent) to get the quest from Thomas (Knights of Thunder) and amiable to get the needed Bar of Ronium from Lord Searfire (Temple of Sol Ro).

Find Thomas at +2930, -820. (On giant hill.)

    You say, 'Hail, Thomas'

Thomas says 'Welcome to our camp. We are paladins gathered from many lands. We have been called to this land by our deities. Ours is a crusade of righteousness. Have you happened upon us by chance or do you [seek the sacred molds]?'

You say, 'I seek the sacred molds'

Thomas says 'Many of us carry the sacred molds of the holy paladin armor. We will release it only to those who have proven themselves to each of our deities. If you seek it, speak up!! Tell us which part you seek. I carry the secret of the [Helm of Ro]. The others carry those of vambraces, breastplates, bracers, gauntlets, greaves and boots of Ro.'

You say, 'What Helm of Ro?'

Thomas says 'To receive the mold of the Helm of Ro you must first demonstrate your strength. Go to the plains of thunder. There you shall hunt down the most vile creatures I have ever encountered. Seek the undead cyclopes. I have spied them in the most dangerous portions of my realm. Fetch me two of their skulls.'

You need to get the mold for the item. You do this by fetching the quest items and turning them in to the NPC who gives the item quest. You need to have an amiably faction to get these quests. If your faction is not high enough, they will request that you go to their guild and talk to someone there first before getting the quest. All molds are no drop lore items, so whoever turns in the items must finish the quest.

    1) Faction needed with Temple of Thunder in Qeynos [Knights of Thunder]. If you are not given the quest outright, go ask someone (not sure who) in the Temple if you have proved your nobility and if he answers yes, you have good enough faction to do the quest. Bring him 2 skulls from the undead cyclopses (approx level 35. plains of thunder/Karana - kill regular cyclops to get them to appear) and he will reward you with the mold for the helm.

Approximate loc of Thomas in Rathe Mountains: +2930, -820. (On giant hill.)
I was at amiable faction when I turned in the 2 Cyclops Skulls:

Thomas says 'I called for two cyclops skulls.'
Thomas says 'You have proven yourself to Karana. I grant you the mold of the Ro helm. May the winds of Karana blow in your favor. Now you must seek out [Lord Searfire] and ask him for [ronium] to complete the second and only other component needed to be fashioned by a master blacksmith.'
Your faction standing with Knights of Thunder has been adjusted by 20.
Your faction standing with Bloodsabers has been adjusted by -20.
Your faction standing with Priests of Life has been adjusted by 15.
Your faction standing with Guards of Qeynos has been adjusted by 15.
    You gain experience!!

    2) Once you get the mold for an item, you need to talk to Lord Searfire, the Dwarven Smith in The Temple of Solusek Ro. He must consider you amiably before he will deal with you.

    You say 'Lord Searfire'
Thomas says 'Lord Searfire is a great forge master. He was called forth to the land of fire lakes. It is said that he now toils in the name of Solusek Ro within a hidden temple of that land. He and he alone knows how to obtain [ronium], a needed component for forging the sacred Armor of Ro.'

He will then give you the Sol Cauldron and tell you how to do the next step, which is acquiring the ingredients to make the metal ronium. These are: Melatite (Dropped by MB and MC Clockworks in Solusek's Eye. You can also sometimes buy them from the Gnomes in Solusek's Eye since many players sell them if they find them), Two Bars of Enchanted Platinum,Mistmoore Granite (from Gargoyles in Mistmoore), the Sands of Ro (from sand giants) and Soil of Underfoot (Get from Priestess Ghalea in the Kaladim cleric's guild for 4 fairy dusts [need at least amiable faction for this]). Put them in the cauldron and hit the combine button and you will get a bar of ronium. You do not need the blacksmithing skill to combine these.

    3) Once you get the ronium, you need to combine it with the mold in a forge to make your item. Any forge will do. You no longer need the blacksmithing skill for this.

    You say 'ronium'
Thomas says 'It is an alloy created from two rare metals. Only [Lord Searfire] knows the formula.'

Need missing quest items, all quest dialogues, /loc of quest mobs, required faction, faction hits, additional information if any.

    Reward: Helm of Ro
    Reward: Cyclops Skull

Jin Initiate Armwraps (Normal): You say, 'Hail, Jin Master Sergug'

Jin Master Sergug says 'Welcome back, young Jin. I hope your training is going well. Unfortunately, I have been unable to keep up to date on your progress, but should you need advanced training in any individual skills, for I am never too busy to enlighten one of my kin. You may have chosen a life of adventure, a life that will take you far from our home, but never forget your duty to your blood. The Guktan Army needs your growing powers. To remind you of this and school you in the way of our people, I will tell you something of [this place].'

You say, 'Tell me of this place.'

Jin Master Sergug says 'The fetid land we now live on of holds many evils. Trolls and other evil ilk still wander the Innothule Swamp, ready to feast on Froglok flesh. Their allies, the ogres, infest the Feerrott to the south, vying with the cursed Lizard men in a lasting contest of evil. Our lands stand distant from the other good races, separated by wastelands and deserts. Our army is our only defense. But that is enough. I am the teacher of young [froglok wizards].'

You say, 'I am a froglok wizard.'

Jin Master Sergug says 'That is your path? Good. Then we must begin immediately for time is short. The arcane path ahead of you is fraught with dangers, many of them of your own making. I will guide you as I can, so [listen well].'

    You say, 'I listen well'

Jin Master Sergug says 'This Arcane Crucible will allow you to combine [various components] to form a basic magical mesh. This mesh, when combined with the proper mold and worked in a forge, will allow you to create your own Armor of the Jin Initiate.'

    You say, 'Which various components?'

Jin Master Sergug says 'These are not the usual components used in spells. Look instead in Innothule Swamp for your pieces. The many enemies and vermin that stalk that bog hold items which are only trash to others. But to you they will eventually become treasures. When you are ready to attempt making your armor, return and tell me what you [wish] to make and I will instruct you. I can teach you the recipes and give you the proper molds for the Armor of the Jin Initiate [Headband], [Vestment], [Armwraps], [Bracer], [Handwraps], [Leggings], and [Sandals].'

    You say, 'What armwraps?'

Jin Master Sergug says 'Gird yourself completely. To craft these you'll need a Bleeder Wing, an Undead Froglok Talisman, some Moccasin Eggs and a Water Moccasin Tail. You say, 'What final lesson?'

Jin Master Sergug looks somewhat startled at the sight of the figure standing nearby, however, continues in conversation with Narom.

Jin Master Sergug says 'It is said, with power must come mercy or only tyranny can result. Well there is one in need of mercy, the mercy of death. A former student of mine, Initiate Xabbis, tried his skills against the ghouls of the swamp. But he only became one himself. Now, he wanders near the broken tower, his soul a toy for the evil gods. When you are ready to attempt making your armor, return and tell me what you [wish] to make and I will instruct you. I can teach you the recipes and give you the proper molds for the Armor of the Jin Initiate [Headband], [Vestment], [Armwraps], [Bracer], [Handwraps], [Leggings], and [Sandals].

    You say, 'I wish vestment'

Jin Master Sergug says 'The true mark of an initiate and a banner to the world of our growing might. To make it you'll need a Pristine Bull Alligator Hide, Bull Alligator Spines, a Giant Moccasin Eye and some Spiderling Silk. When you have the proper basic mesh in hand, take it to a forge along with this mold to finish your Vestment of the Jin Initiate. There is a [final lesson] you must learn. Reward: Vestment of the Jin Initiate

Journeyman's Boots (Normal): It is advised to get the Quest items prior to looking for Hasten in Rathe as he will despawn after a certain amount of time and getting him to spawn in the first place can take hours with bad luck.`

The Shadowed Rapier is a TEMPORARY item that drops from "a shadowed man," found in several zones. Since it's TEMPORARY, it's best to get this last.

The Ring of the Ancients drops from "an ancient cyclops," found in Ocean of Tears and Southern Desert of Ro. In the Ocean of Tears, the AC spawns on the seafury cyclops island and can spawn in place of any of the seafuries. The Southern Desert of Ro AC has a much more intriciate spawn mechanic that can be found on his bestiary page.

You will also need the equivalent of 3250 Gold for the turnin. (325 Platinum works).

Hasten Bootstrutter is a semi-rare spawn in Rathe Mountains. He, or any of the mobs on his spawn cycle will spawn in the Northeast section of the map in the area where Hill Giants are found approximately every 6 minutes(provided they are kept down). Once any of these NPCs or Hasten spawns they will begin roaming throughout the zone where after running their route they will despawn and a new mob will spawn. If you set up camp at the little valley leading into the Hill Giant area every placeholder or Hasten will roam right past you provided they aren't killed by another player.

NPCs that are PHs for Hasten listed in order of how often they pop: Spawns are at exactly 4m 45sec cycles.
    a drake
    a grizzly bear
    Brother Zephyl
    Maldyn the Unkempt

    You say, 'Hail, Hasten Bootstrutter'

Hasten Bootstrutter says 'Stopped, I have. Greet you, I do. What business do we have? Hmm? Speak up!!'

    You say, 'Journeyman's boots.'

Hasten Bootstrutter says 'Journeyman's boots are what you seek? Ha!! Those I have upon my feet and disintegrate will they if my life is taken. Extra pair have I, and, possibly, [rare trade] can we make.'

    You say, 'What rare trade?'

Hasten Bootstrutter says 'Three things I call for and journeyman boots are yours. A [shadowed rapier], [ring of the ancients] and gold... 3250 gold coins I call for !! This trade I call.'

    You say, 'What shadowed rapier?'

Hasten Bootstrutter says 'Shadowed men, foes to all, have appeared. Many lands do they walk. Invisible are they, but for the items they wield. Seek them out and return to me a shadowed rapier. Return it with haste before 'poof' goes the rapier!! No time to camp have you.'

You say, 'What ring of the ancients?'

Hasten Bootstrutter says 'Ancient cyclopes [sic] do march the land. Long have they lived and crafted the rings of the ancients. I must have one and you shall go and fetch one for me. Seek the lands of the oldest cyclops clans. Seek the plains, seek the island in tears and search the dunes for there is one who is last. His clan was blown from the sands.'

Give Hasten the Shadowed Rapier, the Ring of the Ancients, and 3250 gold (or 325 platinum)

Hasten Bootstrutter says 'The time to trade has come!! I am now rich and you are now fast. Take the journeyman boots and run like the wind.'

You receive: Journeyman's Boots Reward: Journeyman's Boots

Kor Initiate Armguards (Normal): You say, 'Hail, Kor Master Gloorg'

Kor Master Gloorg says 'Welcome back, young Kor. I hope your training is going well. Unfortunately I have been unable to keep up to date on your progress, but should you need advanced training in any individual skills, I am here to help you with that. As well, I am here to guide you through your growth as a Cleric in the Guktan Army. With the skills that you learn here, you will be better prepared to serve the Army. If you do indeed plan on following the path of a [Cleric], I have some tasks that you will need to complete, if it suits your interest.'

You say, 'I am a cleric'

Kor Master Gloorg says, 'Excellent! I will give you a list of items to collect, and then combine in this magical assembly kit. This will create a material that you will use to craft a suit of armor that will protect you from the various dangers of Norrath, for years to come. If you are ready to begin your task, I will give you the assembly kit, as well as instructions for collecting the necessary items to craft your armor. Are you ready to receive your [assembly kit]?'

You say, 'I am ready to receive my assembly kit'

Kor Master Gloorg says, 'Here you are Runi, take this assembly kit, it is what you will use to combine the different items required to craft your own Kor Initiate's armor. Different items will be required to craft the different pieces of armor. These items will be available from both our outpost, as well as the training grounds near here. When you are ready to receive a recipe for a specific material, simply tell me which armor piece you [wish to craft]. I hold the recipe's for Kor Initiates [Helms], [Bracers], [Boots], [Armguards], [Legplates], [Gloves] and [Breastplates]. Keep in mind that the items required to make some of the larger pieces of armor will be a bit more difficult to get. You may want to wait until you are more experienced before attempting to obtain the components.'

You say, 'I wish to craft armplates'

Kor Master Gloorg says, 'The armguards are also handy to have. While they are a bit restricting in the movement in the arms, it is much better to have them on when you don't need them, rather then not having them on when you do need them. To create the material needed to craft your armplates, you will need to gather two moccasin eggs, one mosquito carcass, and a kobold talisman, and combine them in your assembly kit. Once you have the correct material, you will need to forge the items together, along with this mold, to craft your Armplates of the Kor Initiate.' Reward: Armplates of the Kor Initiate

You say, 'I am ready to receive my assembly kit.'

You receive a Kor Recruit's Assembly Kit.

Kor Master Gloorg says, 'Here you are ______, take this assembly kit, it is what you will use to combine the different items required to craft your own Kor Initiate's armor. Different items will be required to craft the different pieces of armor. These items will be available from both our outpost, as well as the training grounds near here. When you are ready to receive a recipe for a specific material, simply tell me which armor piece you [wish to craft]. You say, 'I wish to craft Boots.'

Kor Master Gloorg says, 'A pair of boots would be an excellent choice, especially if you plan on doing any extended training in the training grounds. These boots offer excellent protection from the elements, as well as excellent support for your feet. To create the material needed to craft your boots, you will need to gather two kobold scalps, an alligator hide, and a giant moccasin fang, and combine them in your assembly kit. Once you have the correct material, you will need to forge the items together, along with this mold, to craft your Boots of the Kor Initiate.'

Need /loc of Kor Master Gloorg. Reward: Boots of the Kor Initiate

Kor Initiate Bracer (Normal): You say, 'Hail, Kor Master Gloorg'

You say, 'I wish to craft bracers'

Kor Master Gloorg engages in a conversation with you on how to craft the initiates bracer, and what materials are needed.

Kor Master Gloorg says 'The bracer is one of the most basic sections of armor to craft, as well as being the easiest of all the armor pieces to collect the correct items. Even though it is a basic piece of armor, it
serves a big role in the protection of the wrists. To create the material needed to craft your bracer, you will need to gather two spiderling silks, a blackened fungus, and a bleeder carapace and combine them in your assembly kit. Once you have the correct material, you will need to forge the items together, along with this mold, to craft your
Bracer of the Kor Initiate.' Reward: Bracer of the Kor Initiate

Kor Initiate Breastplate (Normal): Before you get to this step, you will get a charm and will need to run around the city and talk to several NPC's to activate that charm.

You say, 'I wish to craft breastplates'

Kor Master Gloorg says, 'So, you think yourself skilled enough to obtain the components necessary to craft your breastplate? I sure hope that you aren't wrong, it would be a very sad day to know that we lost such a promising young recruit because they were a bit overzealous. Regardless, as you have asked, I will give you the recipe to craft the breastplate. To create the material needed to craft your breastplate, you will need to gather two pristine bull alligator hides, larvae skin, and two pristine moccasin scales, and combine them in your assembly kit. You say, 'I wish to craft gloves'

Kor Master Gloorg says, 'Gauntlets are a definite must for any recruit, especially those who do any sort of melee combat! Imagine what a shame it would be to have your recruitment cut short because you lose an appendage. It would be truly tragic. To create the material needed to craft your gauntlets, you will need to gather a cracked spider leg, a malleable bleeder skin, and two spore buds, and combine them in your assembly kit. Once you have the correct material, you will need to forge the items together, along with this mold, to craft your Gauntlets of the Kor Initiate. Reward: Gauntlets of the Kor Initiate

You say, 'I wish to craft helms.'

Kor Master Gloorg says, 'Excellent choice, the helm is without a doubt one of the most important pieces of armor for a young recruit. It is imperative that you protect yourself from blows to the head, while you are in the training grounds! To create the material needed to craft your helm, you will need to gather a cracked skull, two bleeder wings, and a set of moccasin scales, and combine them in your assembly kit. Once you have the correct material, you will need to forge the items together, along with this mold, to craft your Helm of the Kor Initiate.' Reward: Helm of the Kor Initiate

You say, 'I want to craft legplates'

Kor Master Gloorg says, 'The legplates are one of the more difficult armor pieces to craft. Due to the sheer size of the materials needed to craft the leggings, you will need to gather the items from some of the more dangerous regions of our training grounds. To create the material needed to craft your legplates, you will need to gather a kobold liver, two giant moccasin eyes, and one foot from a froglok ghoul, and combine them in your assembly kit. Once you have the correct material, you will need to forge the items together, along with this mold, to craft your Legplates of the Kor Initiate.' Reward: Leggings of the Kor Initiate

After you have completed your breastplate, I may have another [task] for you to complete.

    You say, 'what other task?'

Kor Master Gloorg says, 'If you are asking me about the task I spoke of earlier, then you must have surely completed the full suit of Kor Initiates Armor! You have proven your worth, and moved past the stages of recruitment. Moving along in your training, this task that I wish you to complete will be dangerous, and you may perish, but know that it will greatly help our cause. Enough of my chatter, the task I need you to complete is to recover a [lost journal] from the person who stole it.

    You say, 'what lost journal?'

Kor Master Gloorg says, 'This journal was very important to a friend of mine, and a fellow recruit of yours. It also had some very detailed notes on a mission that he was on, however, it got lost during an attack
on his camp one night. He managed to escape with his life, but the journal was lost. The only information that we have is that it was a band of undead abominations that attacked the camp. If you could perhaps return to us with this journal, I would be greatly appreciative. Reward: Maul of the Kor Initiate

Marr's Blessing (Normal): The starting point of the quest is in the Rathe Mountains, with Yilbit Gerbigo (he's a yellow frog at -2200, +595.

    You say, 'Hail, Yilbit Gerbigo'

Yilbit Gerbigo says 'Salutations. Come sit with me and have a drink. I am just going over some [business] right now.'

    You say, 'What business?'

Yilbit Gerbigo says 'You look like a stout follower of Marr's teachings. This document was just delivered to me. It seems the Paladins in Freeport wish for us to assist them. Let's see what this scroll says.' Yilbit begins to read the scroll. 'Hmm, yes. Interesting. Most unfortunate. Have you ever heard of Castle [Mistmoore]?'

You say, 'Yes, I have heard of Mistmoore.'

Yilbit Gerbigo says 'It is an ancient castle on the continent of Faydwer, eternally covered in a magical darkness. The castle's origins are shrouded in mystery to this day. According to this scroll, many years ago, Sir Bronthas, a Paladin of Marr took up the crusade to wipe Castle Mistmoore and its minions off the map once and for all. After a tiring journey he finally made his way to the castle. He was never heard from again. Rumors say that the brave if not foolish knight was killed and then raised from the dead to serve Lord Mistmoore. Still others say that his bones were used to decorate the dark halls of the castle. Truth be said, no one really knows what happened to him. That is why the Paladins in Freeport need our [assistance].'

    You say, 'What assistance?'

Yilbit Gerbigo says 'They wish for us to venture to the castle and find any sign of what happened to Sir Bronthas. I am afraid however that I was wounded in the war with the Trolls and can no longer fight and Shin Master Grubbus has his hands full training the influx of new recruits. Perhaps you could find some time to [look into this] for us?'

You say, 'I will look into this for you.'

Yilbit Gerbigo says 'You are a true follower of Marr. However I worry for your safety. If you do accept this task, please make sure you are ready. The castle is a deadly place. Should you find any trace of Sir Bronthas's remains, please bring them back to me. There is apparently a reward for completing this. Marr's blessing be with you.'

Go to Mistmoore and kill Sir Bronthas (he's a skeleton shadowknight with a skeleton pet). He conned light blue to 60. We found him near the front of the castle (inside), close to the courtyard where the cloaked dhampyre spawns (i.e., he was between the piano room and the ballroom).

Loot his remains. Faction hit is the same as for killing anything else in Mistmoore:

Your faction standing with Mayong Mistmoore got worse.
Your faction standing with King Tearis Thex could not possibly get any better.
Your faction standing with Agents of Mistmoore could not possibly get any worse.
Your faction standing with League of Antonican Bards got better.

Return to Gukta and hand Yilbit Gerbigo the remains.

Yilbit Gerbigo says 'You actually found his remains?! You are remarkable. We must get Sir Bronthas a proper burial. As promised, here is your reward.'

Your faction standing with Guktan Elders got better.
Your faction standing with Protectors of Gukta got better.
Your faction standing with High Council of Gukta got better.
Your faction standing with Lorekeepers of Gukta got better.

Receive Marr's Promise. Reward: Marr's Blessing

Monks of The Whistling Fist (Normal): This quest begins with Brother Qwinn in South Karana.

    You say, 'Hail, Brother Qwinn'

Brother Qwinn says 'In the name of the [Brotherhood of the Lost Circle], I greet you.'

You say, 'What about the Brotherhood of the Lost Circle?'

Brother Qwinn says 'The [monks of the Whistling Fist] are called the Lost Circle by others. We are an ancient league of monks, long forgotten and nearly extinct. Within this realm, there are only two. [Brother Zephyl] and myself. We seek the items stolen from us. I seek the [Code of Zan Fi].'

You say, 'What Monks of the Whistling Fist?'

Brother Qwinn says 'The monks of the Whistling fist were forged from the vision of the great master, Zan Fi. When the Combine Empire reigned supreme, a single bard grew to learn the ways of the monk. This bard was Zan Fi. The brotherhood was all but destroyed in the times that followed. Now only a few remain to carry on Zan Fi's legacy.'

You say, 'Who is Brother Zephyl?'

Brother Qwinn says 'Brother Zephyl is searching for one who can return the [idol of Zan Fi]. I believe he is somewhere in the vicinity of the Rathe Mountains.'

You say, 'What is the Code of Zan Fi?'

Brother Qwinn says 'The tome called the Code of the Whistling Fist has been stolen from me. It contains many secrets pertaining to our brotherhood. Thankfully, it is magically locked and only a Zan Fi master could unlock it. I require a monk to retrieve it. Would you be an [interested monk]?'

You say, 'I am an interested monk'

Brother Qwinn says 'Then venture into the depths beyond the great Solusek Mining Company. There, living among the kobolds, will be Targin the Rock. Get the book from him, then return here and wait for my reappearance. When we meet again, you shall hand me the book and a purple headband earned from the Silent Fist clan. Do so and you shall be closer to joining the brotherhood.'

You say, 'What about the idol of Zan Fi?'

Brother Qwinn says 'The idol of Zan Fi is a totem that is sacred to our brotherhood. I cannot share its secrets, but I can tell you that [Brother Zephyl] will offer to you a reward for its return..'

The code of Zan Fi is dropped by Targin the Rock, a rare spawn in the throne room of Nagafen's Lair (Solusek B). Bring him the Code and a Purple Silent Fist Headband.

Brother Qwinn says 'We had an agreement. The proof of a skilled monk, the purple headband, and the Code of the Whistling Fist.'

Brother Qwinn says 'We thank you for the return of the Code of the Whistling Fist. Take this sewing needle. You shall find it useful should you aid [Brother Zephyl] in his quest. His item, the needle, a swatch of shadow silk and a scroll containing Jonathan's Whistling Warsong. Into a sewing kit they will be going. And into the brotherhood will you. I hope you do not wish me to [return the headband]..'
    You gain experience!!

    You receive a special needle.

Brother Zephyl is found in the Rathe Mountains...

    You say, 'Hail, Brother Zephyl'

Brother Zephyl says 'Greetings. I am one with the [Lost Circle]. You have found me. What is it you desire?'

You say, 'What about the Lost Circle?'

Brother Zephyl says 'The [monks of the Whistling Fist] are called the Lost Circle by others. We are an ancient league of monks. Long forgotten and few yet remain. Within this realm there are only two. [Brother Qwinn] and I. We seek the items stolen from us. I seek the [idol of Zan Fi].'
    [
You say, 'What is the Idol of Zan Fi?'

Brother Zephyl says 'The idol of Zan Fi is a totem that is sacred to our brotherhood. I cannot share its secrets, but I can offer to you a reward for its return. Are you an [interested monk]?'

You say, 'I am an interested monk'

Brother Zephyl says 'Then venture to the lands of evil. The swamps of the trolls and ogres. There, seek out a monk called Raster. He has the idol. You will return here and wait for my reappearance. When we meet again, you shall hand me the idol and a red sash earned from the Ashen Order. Do so and you shall be closer to joining the brotherhood.'

The Idol is in possession of Brother Raster, who spawns in the Mino Elders room in Lower Guk. Bring Zephyl the Idol along with a red sash.

Brother Zephyl says 'We had an agreement. The proof of a skilled monk, the red sash, and the idol of Zan Fi.'

Brother Zephyl says 'We thank you for the return of the idol of Zan Fi. Take this rare robe pattern. You shall find it useful should you aid [Brother Qwinn] in his quest. His item, the rare robe pattern, a swatch of shadow silk and a scroll containing Jonathan's Whistling Warsong. Into a sewing kit they will be going. And into the brotherhood will you. I hope you do not wish me to [return the sash].'

Of Bones and Beetles (Normal): One of the local families is asking for a surveyor to look at a couple of plots of land that they're interested in. The places are nearby. First, they’d like you to explore the remains of a skeletal army camp south of the bridge. They'd like to know what the surrounding fauna is like, so keep and eye on that while you're there.

Step 1: Explore the remains of a skeletal army camp south of the bridge in South Karana.

The location in question is +1430, +1140.

It's a good thing you were sent to scout out the area for their home because it looks like the monsters are getting restless. Why don't you take of them so there's a better chance they'll buy that land? All you have to do is kill 10 borer beetles. They’d also like it if you could get a few samples of the wildlife too, so while you're out there, loot 4 Fire Beetle Eye.

Step 2: Kill 10 Borer Beetles in North Karana

Step 3: Loot 4 Fire Beetle Eye in North Karana

Despite your efforts, it seems those monsters were a bit much for the family and they're looking at another plot of land nearby. Why don't you head out and explore the mystical spires in the south. Maybe they'll like that one instead.

Step 4: Explore the mystical spires in the south in North Karana

The location in question is -3670, +1200.

Well, it looks like the family didn't like that plot either. It's going to be difficult to prove to them that it'll take a bit of elbow grease to get any land looking like a home. In any case, they don't want the samples from the wildlife, but you can probably deliver 4 Fire Beetle Eye to Gorri Fallstine. Researchers always love getting more samples.

Step 5: Deliver 4 Fire Beetle Eye to Gorri Fallstine in North Karana.

Gorri Fallstine may be found at -130, -2720. Hand in 4 x Fire Beetle Eye, unstacked.

Even though the family is on their way to greener fields to look for land, your help in surveying those areas was invaluable. Sadly, without more families picking up these plots of land, any compensation for services is running a little thing. Hopefully, though, this payment will be enough to tide you over until your next bit of work.

You receive 6 platinum, 8 gold, 7 silver and 5 copper.

You say, 'A master smith of what?'

Karam Dragonforge says 'Dragon scales make terrfic armor. I can make a [white dragonscale cloak] and [red dragonscale armor]. I have not seen any other colored dragon variants around. But if you see any, be sure to let me know. I would be interested in what can be made from their scales.'

You say, 'What red dragonscale armor?'

Karam Dragonforge says 'So you have a red dragon scale, eh? Well, I am wanting very much to return to my fiancee and propose to her. If you could aid me in quickly returning to her with a bit of spare change, we could have a deal. Heck, for the armor, a vial of swirling smoke and 1000 platinum coins is a bargain!'

After handing in the Red Dragon Scales, a Vial of Swirling Smoke (generic item bought from numerous vendors) and 1,000pp:

Karam Dragonforge says 'Wonderful! Now I can get back to my fiance instantly! Isn't Love grand! As for your red dragonscale armor, it is all done. Farewell!'

Receive Red Dragonscale Armor, a plate BP.

Rusty Weapons (Removed): You say, 'Hail, Shin Supplier Nugrud'

Shin Supplier Nugrud says 'You there, listen up. Though the battle for the Outpost of Marr was won, there is much work to do before we can rest. We must rid the swamps of Innoruuk's foul influence. Trolls still lurk in every shadow, and endanger our existence. It is my job to see that we can beat them back. However, we seem to have run into a bit of a [problem].'

    You say, 'What problem?'

Shin Supplier Nugrud says 'Problem indeed. If you had not noticed, our supplies are growing thin. The militia is in desperate need of weaponry to equip our recruits. I would fetch some myself, but I am too busy here to leave my post. This is where you come in. Acquire a rusty dagger, mace, spear, and axe. If you return them to me, our smiths will then reforge them into passable weapons.'

Shin Supplier Nugrud flips through several pages of an inventory ledger. He shakes his head and the corners of his mouth curl downward to form a miserable frown. 'Blast! We are long overdue to receive another shipment of weapons. I cannot send our people into battle armed only with moss-covered stones and harsh words.'

Hand him the 4 rusty weapons.

Shin Supplier Nugrud takes a few moments to examine the wares you brought, before speaking, 'Splendid. This is exactly what we need. Our smiths will sharpen and polish these for use in battle, posthaste. You have done fine work to further our cause.'

Soulstone (Normal): (You must have completed the initial newbie starting quest to do this quest, plus the quests to become an Initiate.)

You say, 'Hail, High Seer Flogk'

High Seer Flogk seemingly ignores Narom, while reveling in the miracle of Marr's, blessing then turns to listen.

High Seer Flogk says 'Greetings there, young initiate! It is good that you have come to see me again. I have been following your progress through the tasks that you have been sent on, and I must say, you make a very promising young soldier. It is nearing the time that you venture out into the world on your own, for purposes of exploration, and to serve the Guktan Army. As this time grows near, it also is time to begin your induction as a young soldier. One of the last remaning tasks you must complete is to venture out into the swamp, as well as our home of old, and retrieve for me several items that I require. Are you [ready for this task]?

You say, 'I am ready for this task'

High Seer Flogk seems to look into the distance, but suddenly blinks as Narom unapologetically interrupts this silent meditation.

High Seer Flogk says 'I thought you might be, in fact, I had hoped so. This task that I have for you will gather the components that I require to create a soulstone for you. The soulstone is one of our means of identification, and is actually infused with your aura during the creation process. The soulstone is unique to you, and will be used throughout your training. Now, enough chatter, the components I requre are a polished waterstone, sparkling dust, and a vial of swampwater. When you have located these items, give them to me, and I will combine them to make the stone, and upon successful creation, I will give you further instructions.

Turn in the polished waterstone, sparkling dust, and a vial of swampwater you receive the soulstone. Take the soulstone and your Initiates Brooch and combine in an oven and get back the Guktan Initiates Soulstone.

The Etched Stone (Normal): This quest is for the Shadowknight spell Life Leech.

It begins with Kazzel D`Leryt in the Mountains of Rathe (he roams the southeast part, south of the Feerrott zoneline), who will not speak with you unless you are at least level 50.

If you are not level 50, here is his response.

Kazzel D`Leryt says, 'Begone you pathetic bug. You are not worthy of my presence.'

If you are level 50 and above,

Kazzel D`Leryt says, 'Finally, a servant worthy of my needs! Apparently you are of high status, which perhaps means you might know a master [jeweler] capable of faceting a very magical, yet fragile stone?'

    You say, 'jeweler'

Kazzel D`Leryt says, 'You must provide me with 2000 platinum pieces as a deposit, then you must take this stone to a master jeweler or [Darfumpel], have it faceted and return it to me along with an orb of pure crystal, a gold necklace the color of snow, and the [blood of Xenyari]. Do that and I will provide you with magic beyond that of most knights of darkness.'

He tells evil-aligned characters to give him 2,000pp in exchanged for an Uncut Hyacinth to be etched by a gnome shopkeeper named Darfumpel (also in the Mountains of Rathe). He tells you the gnome does not like the necromantic arts, so you will have to conceal your identity when dealing with him. Despite this warning, most evil characters seem to be able to talk to Darfumpel without a problem.

  • Give him 2000pp.

    Upon turn in:

Kazzel D`Leryt says, 'Very well, ______. Take this gem to a master jeweler and return it to me with the other three items.'

Kazzel tells you to bring back: - (Need this dialog)

    1) The Faceted Hyacinth;

    2) A gold necklace like the purest snow (the White Gold Necklace found on the Froglok Noble in Lower Guk);

    3) An orb of the purest crystal (the Crystalline Orb from the Stone Spider in Nagafen's Lair); and

    4) The blood of Xenyari the druid. He tells you that the blood must be voluntarily given by Xenyari, so killing her will not suffice.

    You say, 'blood of Xenyari'
Kazzel D`Leryt says, 'Xenyari is a druid who inhabits these parts. She is rarely seen, however, I require a droplet of her blood. Here is the catch though, and one for which you may be well suited if you desire magic of the knights of darkness - Xenyari must give of herself willingly. In other words, you cannot take her blood by force. Rather, she must give you her blood of her own accord.'

To get the Faceted Hyacinth, talk to Darfumpel. An Ogre SK worshiping Cazic-Thule, he will con indifferent to you.

    You say, 'Hail, Darfumpel Zirubbel'

Darfumpel Zirubbel says, 'Hail, Thiccboi. I am Darfumpel, master jeweler and proprietor of this shop. How might I assist you today? Perhaps you need a stone [cut] or some jewelry [repaired]?'

    You say, 'hyacinth'

Darfumpel Zirubbel says, 'A hyacinth, eh? That is quite a rare stone. Quite fragile and easily shattered, too. With my new technique, I can assure you I will not destroy the gem, however, it will cost you. 1000 platinum coins is my fee. Provide me with the coin and the gem and I will cut it for you.'

  • Give him a hyacinth and 1,000pp.

Darfumpel Zirubbel says, 'I have not seen a gem such as this in quite some time! It was not since I dabbled in a bit of necro? Wait? What are you going to use this for? Never mind. I do not wish to know. Here, take your gem and leave!'

    You receive a Faceted Hyacinth.

You may also do the combine yourself in a jewelry kit, trivial is at 235 and the Gem Cutter is not returned, even on failure. - (Recipe)

To get the blood you must bring Xenyari Lisariel a Prickly Pear. The prickly pear drops off of an ice terror, one of Lady Vox's guardians. Be careful and place it deep in your inventory or you might eat it before you return it. As you hand in the pear:

    You say, 'prickly pear'

Xenyari Lisariel says, "Prickly Pears! I just love Prickly Pears!! Thank you so much for getting these for me. I really, really appreciate your gift and I shall not OWW!! I hate when I stick myself with the needles. Oh look, I am bleeding now. Sigh. Can you hold this note for a moment please? My hands are full and I must clean up."

You receive a Bloodied Piece of Parchment.

  • Take the Faceted Hyacinth, note, necklace, and orb to Kazzel. In exchange, he gives you a Faceted Hyacinth Talesm.

Upon turn in of the items.

Kazzel D`Leryt says, 'Quickly now, give me the rest of the ingredients for the telesm...'
Kazzel D`Leryt says, 'Quickly now, give me the rest of the ingredients for the telesm...'
Kazzel D`Leryt says, 'Quickly now, give me the rest of the ingredients for the telesm...'
Kazzel D`Leryt says, 'You are quite cunning. After I fashion this telesm, take it back to Xenyari. She would 'enjoy' another 'gift,' eh?'

You receive a Faceted Hyacinth Talesm.

  • Take this item to Xenyari.

    Upon turn in,

Xenyari Lisariel bounces around with glee at the sight of your gift, smiles at you, and dons the telesm. As she clasps the telesm around her neck, she begins to writhe in agony, and slowly fades from sight leaving just the telesm, which is now pulsating with vibrant energy.

  • Loot Pulsating Hyacinth Telesm from Xenyari's corpse and bring it to Kazzel D`Leryt.

Kazzel D`Leryt laughs heartily and whispers to you, 'Well done, worm, your servitude to my will has now expired...'

  • Upon turn in a level 53 zombie called "a monstrous zombie" spawns and attacks. Kill it, loot a Monstrous Zombie Heart, and give it to Kazzel to receive your spell.

Kazzel: Kazzel D`Leryt says, 'Oh! Umm... Well, I was just playing with you. Certainly you know I was joking! We had a deal and I will abide by the terms of our agreement. Here is my payment for your services. Bye...'

You say 'Hail, Gaz Commander Faltip'

Gaz Commander Faltip says 'Strength of Marr to you, soldier. We have had some disturbing news from our spies along he Troll front lines. It seems that those malicious rutes have begun making use of their Dark Elven cohorts and their specific wizard teleporting abilities. Intelligence suggests that there are a large number of them prepring to assult the outpost by teleporting in the Southern Desert of Ro and attacking en masse. Your mission, should you choose to accept it and defend the intersts of Gukta, will be to take a company of soldiers to the spires and defend against the incursion. You must stop any and all Trolls and Dark Elves from making it to the swamp.'

You say, 'I accept the mission.'

Gaz Commander Faltip says 'I am glad that you have decided to accept the mission. You must prevent the enemy fom making it to the swamp at all costs. We also need to know which casters the enemy is deciding to send against us, as it may be useful to us in the future. It is because of this that you will need to receive and return to me any kind of insignias that they may have upon them. You must hurry now to the desert; intelligence suggests that they will begin their attack within the next ten minutes and will reach the swamp no longer than ten minutes after that. You must make haste to stop this attack!'

You must make your way to the Southern Desert of Ro to stop the Troll incursion. Return to Gaz Commader Faltip with the four insignias.

Hand the four insignias to the commander.

Uklo's Magic (Illusion Guktan - good) (Normal): Master Scribe Uklo is found at -1940, +450.

You say, 'Hail, Master Scribe Uklo'

Master Scribe Uklo says 'Well met! Welcome to Gukta, the Outpost of Marr -- our new home and base of operations for our fight to remove the trolls from the rest of our beautiful swamp. The liberation of Gukta was quite a battle! Many brave Froglok warriors, a good dose of [powerful magic] and the blessings of Mithaniel Marr allowed us to cleanse this place of the vile Trolls.'

    You say, 'What powerful magic?'

Master Scribe Uklo says 'Our battle wizards called many comets of ice from the sky, along with bolts of pure magical force, brutal walls of flame and even [illusions] to confuse and disorient the stupid trolls.'

    You say, 'What illusions?'

Master Scribe Uklo says 'A select few of Mithaniel's chosen know the secrets of spinning illusions. This skill allowed our bravest warriors to infiltrate the Troll's defenses and ensure victory. These are some of our most closely guarded secrets. We only [teach] them to a select few so they can better aid us in our battle.'

    You say, 'Please teach me.'

Master Scribe Uklo says 'You must first [prove] yourself a friend of Gukta before I will teach you our secrets.'

You say, 'How do I prove myself a friend?'

Master Scribe Uklo says 'Very well, I will put your loyalty to the test. Long ago, a great hero of our people lost his life fighting the Trolls. He was in Rathe Mountains investigating a rumor that the Trolls were stockpiling special weapons in an effort to turn the tide of war back in their favor. He was ambushed by a group of troll marauders and their captain Krignok. He fought valiantly, slaying the marauders and eventually locking swords with the captain. But in the end, exhaustion got the better of him and he died by the troll's hand. The Krignok respected the froglok's ferocity and swore that they would one day finish their fight. So through a dark ritual the troll Captain locked the froglok's spirit in his own sword and broke it into 3 pieces. One piece he placed on the [battlefield] where they fought. The other piece he gave to an [infamous troll] warrior to guard. The location of the third piece has been lost over the time but there are [clues] as to where it may be.'

    You say, 'What battlefield?'

Master Scribe Uklo says 'The Mountains of Rathe hold many stories. One of them is the story of froglok warrior Chalex for this is the place where he was killed. Find the place where his bones are kept and say aloud "I wish to recover what is lost" and if you are worthy you shall receive a gift.'

    You say, 'What infamous troll?'

Master Scribe Uklo says 'Gribnor is one of the strongest trolls alive, he is also one of the shortest. His strength is the reason that the Troll Captain entrusted him with a piece of the sword because he knew that it would be almost impossible for anyone to take it away from him. Last we heard Gribnor had taken up residence in Neriak Third Gate along with the rest of those vile trolls. I warn you to be careful as allies of Gukta are not welcome in the home of Innoruuk's children.'

    You say, 'What clues?'

Master Scribe Uklo says 'The troll captain spent some time in the lower part of Guk. Apparently he was trying to control the undead frogs there and use them against us. His plans did not see fruition and while trying to escape he dropped the sword blade. It is rumored that another explorer found it and the power drove him insane doomed to wander the halls of Lower Guk seeking only to destroy others. I believe you will find this to be the toughest piece to retrieve.'

We must remove this before the sword can be restored. I think this calls for an old recipe. Take this distiller and use it to mix some skyash bile and a pinch of drake lava powder together. You should be able to find the bile in the mountains of fire and the drake lava powder is best retrieved from fire drakes in the mountains of lava. Bring me the result and I should be able to restore this ancient weapon.'

Uklo grins as you hand him the restorative. 'Words cannot describe what you have done. This is truly a wonderful day for our citizens. Now I can rebuild the sword and our hero can finally finish that which he started. Please, while this is more then enough proof of your loyalty, I must ask that you take this sword and place it in the remains. Return with proof that it has been done and I shall reward you with the knowledge you seek.'

    Redeem Chalex

Go back to Rathe Mountains and give the blade to "a pile of froglok remains."

A spectral figure appears emanating a powerful yet ghastly aura. Warrior Spirit Chalex says 'Your kindness has given me a chance to finish that which I started. While I thank thee for restoring my blade and bringing it to me I am not worthy to wield it until I have destroyed the one who killed me. Please hold my sword until I have redeemed myself by vanquishing the vile Troll Captain Krignok. Now I must ask that you protect me, I can feel his presence close by and once again he is not alone.'

He gives you back Marr's retribution.

Warrior Spirit Chalex shouts 'Come forth coward, this time we fight on equal terms!'

Krignok's undead minions shamble towards you slowly, littering the ground with rotting flesh.

Warrior Spirit Chalex shouts 'Give it up Krignok, you are outmatched when facing a paladin of Mithaniel Marr!'

Undead Captain Krignok shouts 'Your beliefs will find you dead by my hands once again frog!'

You must hold off the minions while Chalex and Krignok do battle. Chalex will defeat Krignok after about 20-30 seconds and despawn, reappearing as Chalex the Redeemed standing next to Master Scribe Uklo.

Troll Captain Krignok says, 'I yield Chalex, you are truly a worthy opponent.' Images of the dead whip around the air as Krignok returns to the spectral world taking any of his remaining minions with him. The Warrior Spirit thanks Mithaniel for a second chance as he stands before you redeemed. He then looks at you and asks for his sword.

You say, 'Hail, Chalex The Redeemed'

Chalex The Redeemed Looks at you longingly, hand outstretched.

    Give him Marr's Retribution.

As Chalex takes the sword he begins to change. Old becomes new right before your eyes as the touch of Mithaniel reshapes the warrior spirit. 'Thank you again. Your kindness has allowed my spirit to go home. Please show this to my people so they will have a memory of what you have done.'

Waving goodbye Chalex The Redeemed disappears just as quickly as he appeared.

    You receive A Spectral Memory.

    Final Reward

Go back to Uklo in the Rathe Mountains and give him the spectral memory.

Uklo kneels before you as tears of happiness roll down his face. 'I thank you. Since our creation it has been rare that we have received such kindness. You will always be welcome in our city and future generations will croak the story of your greatness. Please take this as a small token of my gratitude you have truly earned it.'

If your faction is not high enough, they will request that you go to their guild and talk to someone there first before getting the quest.

    3) Once you get the ronium, you need to combine it with the mold in a forge to make your item. Any forge will do. You no longer need the blacksmithing skill for this.

Need all dialogues, faction hits, quest items, /loc of quest mobs. Reward: Vambraces of Ro

White Dragonscale Cloak (Normal): This quest begins with Karam Dragonforge in the Mountains of Rathe. He is located in an inn at about /loc 4100, 915.

    You say, 'Hail, Karam Dragonforge'

Karam Dragonforge says 'Welcome, ______. I have a number of platemail items, if you are interested. I am also a master [smith] of exotic materials such as dragon scales.'

    You say, 'Smith?'

Karam Dragonforge says 'Dragon scales make terrific armor. I can make a [white dragonscale cloak] and [red dragonscale armor]. I have not seen any other colored dragon variants around. But if you see any, be sure to let me know. I would be interested in what can be made from their scales.'

You say, 'Please make a white dragonscale cloak.'

Karam Dragonforge says 'Hrmmm. A white dragonscale cloak eh? Hrmmm. Well, I will make you a deal. You can save me some footwork and I will craft your cloak. I want to propose to my [fiancee] but I have neither a [wedding ring] nor a [present] for her. So, return with a white dragon hide, parts for a [wedding ring], and a [present] for my fiancee, and I will fashion your cloak for you.'

    You say, 'Fiancee?'

Karam Dragonforge says 'My fiancee... AHHHH... The love of my life. My purpose for existing. She is a real woman. Long, golden blonde hair with a similarly colored full beard. A stout broad she is, kind and warm at heart. She knows every nook of my essence. But do not let that fool you. She is as strong as many dwarven men. Between you and me, she has even beaten me once or twice armwrestling over who gets the last ale and who has to go to the market.'

    You say, 'Wedding ring?'

Karam Dragonforge says 'Only the best will do. I want to make it myself, but I will need you to get some parts as I do not have time. I need a platinum trio ring and a marquise cut alexandrite. The green will go very well with her calluses.'

    You say, 'Present?'

Karam Dragonforge says 'Well, she is quite fond of jewelry. I have the perfect necklace, but I am missing the gem for it. I think a square cut black sapphire would complement her eyes and beard so exquisitely.'

"White Dragon Hide" is dropped off Gorenaire and Lady Vox in the Dreadlands and Permafrost Keep, respectively.

Platinum Trio Ring, Marquise Cut Alexandrite and Square Cut Black Sapphire are crafted by jewelers. Hand in those three items to Karam to receive your cloak if you are on a live server or on a progression server during Secrets of Faydwer or after.

On progression servers before Secrets of Faydwer, you need to hand in White Dragon Hide and the enchanted versions of the following: Platinum Diamond Wedding Ring, Black Sapphire Platinum Necklace.

Karam Dragonforge says 'My fiance will be so excited! An exquisite ring for the wedding and a gorgeous necklace as my wedding gift to her. Well, as promised, here is your white dragonscale cloak.' Reward: White Dragonscale Cloak

Yun Initiate Armguards (Normal): You say, 'Hail, Yun Master Arglug'

Yun Master Arglug says 'Welcome back, young Yun. I hope your training is going well. Unfortunately, I have been unable to keep up to date on your progress, but should you need advanced training in any individual skills, I am here to help you with that. As well, I am here to help guide you through your growth as a Shaman in the Guktan Army. The spirits will also be your guide, and with the skills that you learn here, you will be better equipped to serve the Army. If you plan on following the path of a [Shaman], I have some tasks for you to complete, if it suits your interest.'

You say, 'I am a Shaman.'

Yun Master Arglug says 'I thought as much. I am glad that you have chosen to become a Shaman. Let's get started on your training. I will give you a list of items that you will need to collect, as well as a magical assembly kit in which to combine these items. Once you have successfully combined the items, it will create a material that you will use to craft a suit of armor that will protect you from the dangers of the training grounds. If you are ready to begin your task, I will give you the assembly kit and instructions for collecting the items required to craft your armor. Are you ready to receive your [assembly kit]?'

You say, 'I am ready to receive my assembly kit.'

Yun Master Arglug says 'Excellent, then it is time that we get started. Here is the assembly kit used to combine the different items required to craft your own Yun Initiate's Armor. Each piece of armor will require different items to craft. These items will be available from both our outpost, as well as the training grounds near here. When you are ready to receive a recipe for a specific material, simply tell me which armor piece you [wish to craft]. I hold the recipes for Yun Initiate's [Helms], [Bracers], [Boots], [Armguards], [Legplates], [Gloves] and [Breastplates]. Keep in mind that the items required to make some of the larger pieces of armor will be a bit more difficult to get. You may want to wait until you are more experienced before attempting to obtain the components.

You say, 'I wish to craft Armguards.'

Yun Master Arglug says 'Armguards are one of the pieces of armor that no froglok should be without! They offer protection for the arms, and some for the shoulders, as well. A good thing if a block goes awry! To create the material needed to craft your armplates, you will need to gather two chunks of mosquito meat, a large fungal spore, and a giant snake fang, and combine them in your assembly kit. Once you have the correct material, you will need to forge the items together, along with this mold, to craft your Armplates of the Yun Initiate.' Reward: Armplates of the Yun Initiate

Yun Initiate Boots (Normal): As of February 26, 2014, this has been reported as broken.

You say, 'Hail, Yun Master Arglug'

Yun Master Arglug says 'Welcome back, young Yun. I hope your training is going well. You may want to wait until you are more experienced before attempting to obtain the components.'

You say, 'I wish to craft Boots.'

Yun Master Arglug says 'A pair of boots would be a wise choice for a young recruit. Our training grounds are often dangerous, and plagued with various perils. Boots would offer some excellent protection for your feet, as well as some protection from the elements. To create the material needed to craft your boots, you will need to gather two kobold talons, an amulet from an undead froglok, and a ball of pulpy fungus, and combine them in your assembly kit. Once you have the correct material, you will need to forge the items together, along with this mold, to craft your Boots of the Yun Initiate.' Reward: Boots of the Yun Initiate

Yun Initiate Bracers (Normal): You say, 'Hail, Yun Master Arglug'

You may want to wait until you are more experienced before attempting to obtain the components.'

You say, 'I wish to craft Bracers.'

Yun Master Arglug says 'A bracer is a simple, but effective piece of armor. It enables some deflection of small blows to the wrists in melee-based combat. The bracer is one of the most basic sections of armor to craft, as well as being the easiest of all the armor pieces to collect the correct items. To create the material needed to craft your bracer, you will need to gather a crab spider's carapace, the poison sack of a bleeder, and two airborne spores, and combine them in your assembly kit. Once you have the resulting material, you will need to combine it together in a forge, along with this mold, to craft your Bracer of the Yun Initiate.' Reward: Bracer of the Yun Initiate

You say, 'I wish to craft a Breastplate.'

Yun Master Arglug says 'You wish to craft a breastplate? Do you think you are skilled enough to obtain the materials needed to craft it? Well, I hope that you aren't wrong; it would be tragic if we lost a recruit because he was too zealous, too soon. Regardless, as you have asked, I will give you the recipe to craft the breastplate. To create the material needed to craft your breastplate, you will need to gather two burly kobold ears, some moccasin poison, and two bull alligator spines, and combine them in your assembly kit. Once you have the correct material, you will need to forge the items together, along with this mold, to craft your Breastplate of the Yun Initiate. After you have completed your breastplate, I may have another [task] for you to complete.' Reward: Breastplate of the Yun Initiate

You say, 'I wish to craft Gloves.'

Yun Master Arglug says 'Excellent! Gauntlets are the choice of smart recruits. One of the first things that one should do is protect your hands, since your hands are very important, especially in melee combat! To create the material needed to craft your gauntlets, you will need to gather two pristine bleeder skins, one crab spiderling fang, a mushroom spore, and combine them in your assembly kit. Once you have the correct material, you will need to forge the items together, along with this mold, to craft your Gauntlets of the Yun Initiate. Reward: Gauntlets of the Yun Initiate

You say, 'I wish to craft Helms'

Yun Master Arglug says 'Wise choice, young recruit. The helm is one of the most important pieces of armor that one could ever hope to obtain. Protection of your head at all times is a must. To create the material needed to craft your helm, you will need to gather a water moccasin tail, two mosquito eyes, and a chunk of digested earth, and combine them in your assembly kit. Once you have the correct material, you will need to combine the items together in a forge, along with this mold, to craft your Helm of the Yun Initiate.' Reward: Helm of the Yun Initiate

Yun Master Arglug says 'Legplates are one of the more difficult items to craft; however, they offer a significant amount of protection for a young recruit. Since the legplates are a bit larger then most other pieces of armor, the components required to craft the material comes from some of the larger, and more dangerous creatures in the training grounds. To create the material needed to craft your legplates, you will need to gather two bull alligator teeth, one larval carapace, and one pristine kobold paw, and combine them in your assembly kit. Once you have the correct material, you will need to forge the items together, along with this mold, to craft your Legplates of the Yun Initiate.' Reward: Leggings of the Yun Initiate

Yun Initiate Task (Normal): Sankgoki says ‘Hail, Yun Master Arglug’

Yun Master Arglug says 'Welcome back, young Yun. I hope your training is going well. Unfortunately, I have been unable to keep up to date on your progress, but should you need advanced training in any individual skills, I am here to help you with that. As well, I am here to help guide you through your growth as a Shaman in the Guktan Army. The spirits will also be your guide, and with the skills that you learn here, you will be better equipped to serve the Army. If you plan on following the path of a [Shaman], I have some tasks for you to complete, if it suits your interest.'

Sankgoki says ‘I am a Shaman’

Yun Master Arglug says 'I thought as much. I am glad that you have chosen to become a Shaman. Let's get started on your training. I will give you a list of items that you will need to collect, as well as a magical assembly kit in which to combine these items. Once you have successfully combined the items, it will create a material that you will use to craft a suit of armor that will protect you from the dangers of the training grounds. If you are ready to begin your task, I will give you the assembly kit and instructions for collecting the items required to craft your armor. Are you ready to receive your [assembly kit]?

Sankgoki says ‘I am ready to receive my assembly kit’

Sankgoki says ‘I wish to craft Breastplate’

After you have completed your breastplate, I may have another [task] for you to complete.

Yun Master Arglug says 'I speak of this with you, only because I believe you have proven yourself to be a recruit of impeccable reputation, and feel that you will not let me down. Not long ago, a small artifact was lost, though the details of how were never discovered. What we do know, is that a small band of froglok traitors, and exiles took the item. The artifact was not extremely powerful, it had more sentimental value than anything else, but, if you could retrieve it, you would save me the trouble of having to hunt them down myself. Reward: Cudgel of the Yun Initiate
