Quests for The Bloodfields

Barowsar's Leather Armor (Tier 1) (Incomplete): Rewards are class-specific armor pieces. Druids receive Greenvale armor, monks receive Stillmind armor, and beastlords receive Beast Tamer armor.

You say, 'Hail, Barowsar'

Barowsar says 'Greetings, ______. I have heard your name spoken among the few dragorn that find their way here to visit Master [Lenarsk]. They say you are an enemy of the Muramites? If so, then let me greet you properly.' The dragorn bows deeply. 'Apprentice Tanner Barowsar at your service.'

You say, 'Who is Lenarsk?'

Barowsar says 'Though I call him master, Lenarsk has been more like a father to me. My true father, Noble Jelvan the Eldest, I have not seen since the Muramites captured the High Council of Eight. I was but a young hatchling then, and Lenarsk, my father's tanner, hid me within a tapestry and took me to safety into the wilderness. Now that I am old enough, he has taken me as an apprentice, teaching me to cut and shape leather into armor. If you would be interested, I have leatherwork for your [hands], [wrists], [arms], [head], [chest], [legs], or [feet]. You may find it useful in your battles against the Muramites. It is yours provided, of course, you can perform a favor in return.'

Hands

You say, 'Hands?'

Barowsar says 'As you may know, Harbinger's Spire was once a dragorn lookout tower which Mata Muram has since claimed and bent to his own purposes. He uses the spire as a beacon to receive news on his domain. Some of his captains possess infused crystal shards which can be used to send up beacons from Harbinger's Spire. Return to me with one of these spire control shards as well as two glistening murkglider pelts to hide it in. I have heard rumors of a small force of dragorn in Dranik's Scar that still stand against Mata Muram. If we can disrupt the Muramite communication network, we may buy these rebels time to plan their next attack. It's a small thing, but until I am old enough to fight, it's the best I can do to help them. In return for your help I will reward you with a masterwork set of leather gloves.'

Spire Control Shards drop from various named in The Ruined City of Dranik and the Wall of Slaughter. Glistening Murkglider Pelts drop in the Wall of Slaughter from yard trash.

Wrists

You say, 'Wrists?'

Barowsar says 'As you may know, my kin believe that all the dragorn were created by the death of a single dragon, Dranik -- the great father. The first dragorn to walk Kuua created many things in his honor. Among these creations was a fearsome battle standard painted with a drop of blood from each of Dranik's firstborn sons. The last dragorn armies to carry the banner fell to the Muramites. No one can say where the Blood Standard of Dranik has gone, but the recovery of such an artifact would leave me in your debt. If you return with this banner as well as with two Dansk branches, I can remake a haft for this standard to fly again. In return, I can offer a finely crafted leather wristguard as your reward.'

Dranik Blood Standard drops from named in the Ruined City of Dranik and the Wall of Slaughter. Dansk Branches drop a kyv heartstriker in Nobles' Causeway.

Barowsar says 'The Blood Standard of Dranik! I did not believe it still existed! This will bring hope to the few dragorn who still resist Mata Muram. I only wish I was ready to join them. Thank you. As promised, here is a leather wristguard as a reward.'
You gain experience!!

Arms

You say, 'Arms?'

Barowsar says 'I have little memory of Kuua before the Muramites came. I was but a hatching when they began to pour into our lands. I have heard stories though, stories of green mountains and fields of Dansk blossoms. If only I could see it all now. If you can find a map of Old Kuua, one drawn before the coming of Discord, I would like to study it to remind myself that this land was not always twisted by Discord. Bring me one of these maps along with two Dansk blossoms so that I may imagine the world of my elders. Do this and I can reward you with an ornate pair of leather armguards from Master Lenarsk's collection.'

Map of Old Kuua drops from named in the Ruined City of Dranik and the Wall of Slaughter. Dansk Blossoms drop from ikaav yard trash in Nobles' Causeway and The Ruined City of Dranik.

Head

You say, 'Head?'

Barowsar says 'I was too young to remember fully, but when Discord first impinged upon our world, treachery and paranoia crept into the lives of my kin. Only one dragorn, Noble Yemall the Arcane, kept his wits long enough to realize what was happening. Yemall toiled tirelessly to counter the effects of Discord. Although his efforts were in vain, it is said that he was able to author a treatise before the Muramites seized him. This treatise, entitled The Duskfall Chronicles, contains his reflections on the nature of Discord. No one knows what has happened to this text, but if you are able to recover it, I can study its teachings and perhaps begin to understand why so many of my kin turned on one another. Bring me this treatise along with two Muramite ritual scrolls to help me understand the nature of Discord. Do this and I can reward you with a leather helm from Master Lenarsk's collection.'

Duskfall Chronicles drops rarely in Nobles' Causeway and the Wall of Slaughter.

Chest

You say, 'Chest?'

Barowsar says 'One of my greatest regrets stems from the fact that I only have vague memories of my father, Jelvan the Eldest. I have not seen him since the Muramites came and then I was only a hatchling. It is said that he carried a scepter granted by Dranik himself. This scepter will glow as long as its owner is alive. If you can recover his scepter along with three tattered chimera pelts to conceal it in, I will be able confirm if he is still alive. I can reward you with an ornate leather chest plate that I made under the tutelage of Master Lenarsk.'

Tattered Chimera Pelt drop off chimera in the Wall of Slaughter. The sceptre requested is Dragorn Elder Scepter and drops off Tiorpat Tornwing in The Ruined City of Dranik or Velitorkin in Wall of Slaughter.

Legs

You say, 'Legs?'

Barowsar says 'As you may know, Kuua was not the first world touched by Discord. I have heard many stories of past conquest told by the Muramites. They say that the last ember of a Discord-ravaged city will burn for many years, long after the ruins of the city itself have been covered over by time. Some say it's the city's spirit, slowly dying. Others claim it to be a side effect of the Discord's lingering magic. Regardless, these embers are highly valued by the legions of Discord, for Mata Muram rewards them to his fiercest captains as war trophies. If you can bring me one of these embers along with three dragorn-crafted metal bowls to contain it, I can keep this precious item away from the Muramites. I do not think the last remnants of a destroyed world should be flaunted with such irreverence. Secure these from the Muramites and my leather leggings shall be yours.'

Dragorn City Ember drops from Pyrique Redwing in the Wall of Slaughter. Dragorn Metal Bowls drop from dragorns and girplans in the Wall of Slaughter.

Feet

You say, 'Feet?'

Barowsar says 'When Discord first descended upon Kuua, many of my own kin turned traitor. There is talk of a traitors' stone which is etched with the names of all dragorn who conspired with the Muramites in those dire days. The Muramite captains carried these stones and used them to determine which dragorn to slay outright and which to spare with a life of slavery. If you can bring me one of these Kuuan traitor stones, now found on some of my twisted brethen, along with two Muramite Dragorn slaver whips, I can bury these items for good. If the dragorn are going to make a united stand against the Muramites, we need to forget about the treacheries of the past and stand together as one united force. Burying this stone will bring us together as a people. Bring me these items and I can reward you with a finely crafted pair of leather boots. Good luck!'

Kuuan Traitor Stones drop from various named in Nobles' Causeway, the Ruined City of Dranik, and the Wall of Slaughter. Muramite Dragorn Slaver Whips drop from dragorns in Nobles' Causeway, the Ruined City of Dranik, and Wall of Slaughter. On hand-in:

Barowsar says 'Well done ______. I understand the Muramites guard these well. I'll bury this stone so the dragorn of Kuua can move on from the horrors of the past and instead look to the future. As promised, here is a pair of finely crafted leather boots as your reward.'

Lenarsk's Leather Armor (Tier 2) (Normal): Rewards are class-specific armor pieces. Beastlords receive Savagesoul Armor of the Wilds. Druids receive Everspring Armor of the Tangled Briars. Monks receive Fiercehand Armor of the Focused.

Lenarsk regards you as an ally -- it appears to be quite formidable.

You say, 'Hail, Lenarsk'

Lenarsk says 'Hail to you stranger. Though I must be careful, I now know that you are sympathetic to our plight. I, Lenarsk, was a most-favored tailor to the nobles and famous hunters. They would come from far away seeking my shop, clamoring for my wares. But alas, the Muramites changed all of this when they infected our lands. Fate can be harsh at times. And yet here you are. Perhaps our mutual goals will encourage us to walk the same [path] together.'

You say, 'Path?'

Lenarsk says 'By now it is apparent that I hold no favor toward those Muramites and I also know that you don't look upon them kindly either. Therefore, I have a proposition for you. I know that you alone will not be enough to rid our lands of these invaders, but any sorrow you can cause them will bring me unending joy. Help me in my cause to wound the Muramites and I will repay your courageous deeds with some of my unfulfilled [orders].'

You say, 'Orders?'

Lenarsk says 'Why, as I said, customers from many lands would seek me out to create handsome one-of-a-kind pieces. I'm sure I still have a few of these left waiting for owners that will never arrive. Yes, I believe I have something for your [head], [arms], [wrists], [hands], [chest], [legs], and [feet]. I will give these to you if you help me.'

Head

You say, 'Head.'

Lenarsk says 'I have a wonderfully woven cap that was meant for the son of a noble. Alas, both father and son fell victim to the wicked Muramites and were forcibly marched through the causeway to their deaths. In exchange for the cap, I seek the walking stick of a certain dragorn elder that also perished during the march. I have heard rumors that the stick was enchanted such that were it to be lost it would find its way back to its owner. You must bring back Patorav's walking stick to me. Also, the Muramite guards that gleefully killed our leaders were given awards. Find me two Muramite Noble's March awards as well.'

Patorav's Walking Stick is a random drop from Jelvan`s Keepsake, Keldovan the Harrier, Ture, and Warden Hanvar in the Citadel of Anguish. Muramite Noble's March Awards are dropped by lightning warriors in Muramite Proving Grounds.

Arms

You say, 'Arms.'

Lenarsk says 'When the Muramites invaded, some took over my shop and either stole or destroyed everything. Why, I even lost a beautiful leather pouch I had been creating for one in my family. I can't stand the thought of that Muramite with a gift meant for a loved one. Please return this pouch to me so I know that my hard work did not benefit one as evil as a Muramite. I also ask of you to bring me back two spiked discordling collars so I know that at least some of those that destroyed my shop have been dealt with.'

Lenarsk's Embossed Leather Pouch is a random drop from Jelvan`s Keepsake, Keldovan the Harrier, Ture, and Warden Hanvar in the Citadel of Anguish. Spiked Discordling Collars are dropped by discordlings in Muramite Proving Grounds.

Wrists

You say, 'Wrists.'

Lenarsk says 'Very little is known to us about the riftseekers. We do know they do wield powerful magic that can create portals that have appeared in our lands. I believe they are wholly creatures of magic. I have heard whispers that the heart of these beings is not the heart of a mundane beast. No, in fact, I have heard that their heart is pure magic. Bring me one of these hearts so I may find out if any of the magic within it may be used to enchant the pieces of leather raiment I create. In addition I am running low on quality feran hides so I will need you to bring me back a couple of those as well.'

The Riftseeker Heart is a random drop from Jelvan`s Keepsake, Keldovan the Harrier, Ture, and Warden Hanvar in the Citadel of Anguish. Quality Feran Hides are dropped by random ferans in Riftseekers' Sanctum.

Hands

You say, 'Hands.'

Lenarsk says 'I have a pair of gloves that has the suppleness of leather, but the strength of iron! I am willing to part with these if you retrieve an artifact. Find the axe that was once wielded by Makyah the Fierce. Never did a more magnificent warrior stride the field of battle and when he was lost, so was a large portion of my people's hopes. Return the axe to me so that once my people see that it was found, we may find the hope and courage necessary to defeat our foes. You will also need to bring me two fine chimera hides so I may craft a sheath worthy of an axe wielded by a legend.'

Makyah's Axe is a random drop from Jelvan`s Keepsake, Keldovan the Harrier, Ture, and Warden Hanvar in the Citadel of Anguish. Fine Chimera Hides are dropped from chimeras in Riftseekers' Sanctum.

Chest

You say, 'Chest.'

Lenarsk says 'As celebrated as I am as a master crafter, my mentor was so much more. One of the last pieces he created before passing away was a vest for Jayruk the Hunter. Many times did Jayruk narrowly cheat death, not by the strength of spear or swiftness of bow, but by the sharpness of his mind. There was a time when a trap they laid for a pack of feral bazu failed to contain them. Enraged, the bazu began a charge toward some homes and would have surely decimated all in their path were it not for Jayruk's [quick thinking].'

You say, 'Quick thinking?'

Lenarsk says 'He quickly managed to anger the lead bazu and trick the pack into following him. Blinded by rage, the pack charged after Jayruk as he led through them a narrow ravine. Hidden by brush was a long drop which Jayruk managed to avoid by deftly jumping to one side and clinging onto the cliff face as the bazu fell one by one to their demise. A few days later though, Jayruk disappeared without a trace. Find and return this vest so that I may study the technique that created it. In addition, to honor the memory of Jayruk, bring me three bracelets made out of bazu nails.'

Jayruk's Vest is dropped by Overlord Mata Muram in the Citadel of Anguish. Bazu Nail Bracelets are dropped by random mobs in Nobles' Causeway. Upon turning it in:

Lenarsk unfolds the vest and begins to run his eyes over it, paying attention to details that only a master crafter would see. 'Yes, this is indeed the vest my master created for Jayruk. I would recognize it anywhere. Now, perhaps I may learn some of the secrets my mentor did not have time enough to pass along to me. And the nails you have brought me pay tribute to the great hunter that Jayruk was. Though this vest I am about to give you is not the equal of the one Jayruk wore, it is certainly close.

Legs

You say, 'Legs.'

Lenarsk says 'After our forces fell and the Muramites swept through our lands, they pillaged everything in sight. They stormed into my home and shop, stealing what they could and destroying everything else. One particularly nasty Muramite took great pleasure in the destruction of my home. I want you to seek it out and exact revenge. You will recognize him by an amulet he proudly wears. Return to me with this as proof that you have accomplished the task I have lain out for you. Three of the henchmen with this Muramite leader were disgusting discordlings that tormented me needlessly. See to it that this trio pays for their twisted deeds by also bringing me three discordling hooves.'

Patorav's Amulet is dropped by Arch Magus Vangl in the Citadel of Anguish. Discordling Hooves drop from various discordlings in Muramite Proving Grounds.

Feet

You say, 'Feet.'

Lenarsk says 'I had a customer who was a famous hunter in his day. Though not the most celebrated hunter I've served, Vrago was still widely recognized as a hero for tirelessly protecting our people from the wild beasts that roam our lands. He and his cadre once saved my life as I was returning from a trip. As repayment for saving my life, I was creating some boots for him. Before I could fulfill my debt to him, the Muramites captured him and tortured him in their twisted Proving Grounds. I have been told by witnesses to this horror that the one that carried out his execution was awarded a cruelty medal for capturing him. Find the bearer of this medal and repay my debt to Vrago by dispatching him. Return the medal to me and I will give you the boots I had intended for him. To complete the boots though, I will also need two chimera gut strings.'

Muramite Cruelty Medal is a random drop from Jelvan`s Keepsake, Keldovan the Harrier, Ture, and Warden Hanvar in the Citadel of Anguish. Chimera Gut Strings are dropped by chimeras in Riftseekers' Sanctum.
