I molo my Paladin exclusively. Which proc will generate more aggro and thus keep mobs off my merc?

Stun or rune?

Stun is the aggro getter with a pally until you get up into the 70's when they have spells for generating aggro so you don't have to chain cast stuns.

Think he meant weapon procs. If not, then yea chain stuns, even if the mobs are too high for some of them.

My preference is Unresistable Hate first, then stuns that land for single targets, and runes for multiple mobs. Others varies. This as a War with some AE aggro.

Here's some threads to give an idea of what others think.

Yes I meant weapon procs. All the TSS+ PAL SHD only weapons have Rune procs and not Chaptic Strike procs. I figured it was related to aggro generation.

I wouldn't think a rune proc would have any aggro causing effect as it it just a self buff.

Rune procs have been proven to create quite a bit of agro. Jade of the Ether is a rune3 proc and high on the list of sought after augs.

Rune is an AE hate proc. If you solo (molo) exclusively, I'd go with the Enraging Blow aug from the DoN merchant.

EB is 7 or 8 hundred hate, versus 400ish for rune IV.

If you occasionally group, I'd toss the EB in you sword and board combo, and use a dmg aug in your 2hs for easier mobs/when someone else is tanking.

So does Molo now mean to solo with a merc? Or was it a typo?

That's right, "molo" = "solo with a merc". It seems to be the most common abbreviation so far, although I suppose it could be server-dependent.

Ugh, good luck Reyla. I've got about 36 hours invested in that camp and I've seen the named three times and gotten three steeledge stones.

I never camped JotE myself, but SKs report that it's one of the longer camps in the game. Of course, the RNG being what it is, some people get lucky and get it on the first kill, but most people reportedly invest dozens of hours into this camp.
