I am disappointed, i thought they would give out some non-visable gear that would scale up as you level, to fill the gaps that defiant has.

Bummer.

I think the Crypt of Nadox - Corrupted Peridot Amulet is not dropping after the Aug 20th hotzone change. I've hunted the same place 3 nights now, no augs. Before the hotzone change we would get near a dozen a night dropping.
Have they finally decided to take the augs off the droplist once the zone is no longer a hotzone?

Got the corrupted amulet drop from Blightfire yesterday.

Furthermore on hotzone aug drops:

I was in Lake of Ill omen from level 5-27. Didn't see an aug drop till I was nearly 20. Second day there I rotted 5-8 of them in the same amount of time (same caster of temperance for both visits).

I beleive it remains random dumb luck (rng) for hotzone drops.

edit: was in LoIO 5-27 not 2-27

The Corrupted augs never seemed extremely common to me, but not as rare as the set before that. Nadox in particular took me a while to get, but I generally only camped the Nautilus room.

The newest ones appear to drop more often off of the mobs taht the aug names imply:
Bloodgill goblins for the LoIO,
Tae Ew for the Feerrott,
Goblins (especially in the tunnel vs ones at Droga zone in) fo Frontier Mtns,
haven't found nor really looked for a Crystalline mob in ToFS, but seems to be shadowy's on the 2nd floor are popular drops,
Undead Frogloks in LGuk, Holgresh
for WL, Frogloks (particularly the ones near first zone out) in Seb,
Griffons in Blackfeather but just guessing from name, haven't hunted ther since these augs came out,
not sure on PoS, never really spent any time there yet,
Bladefin basilisks in Sunder, and
Pyrillens in RSS.

I've found the new augments to be pretty common in general. Got the WL one off of a raptor, the ToFS one off of a 1st floor skeleton, the Seb one off of a Juggernaut and the LGuk one off of an undead froglok (naturally).

Yea, they drop off anything, but I've seeme to have better luck sticking to mobs that the augs refer too, was my point. It could just be luck, but, has just happened that way for me. On the other hadn seen a guy get 3 or 4 in sunder off drakes in about 30min.

But when I was looking for them, I tried lots of mobs, and generally the first ones to drop it, where the specific ones, within only a few kills .. like in LoIO, I killed alot of stuff, moving from E Cab to the middle of the lake, and killed lots of non-Bloodgill goblins, but only the 3rd bloodgill and it dropped.

Here are the known drops based on what's in Lucy for the new set of hotzones. I added in the links to where I think the undiscovered ones will end up in the database, and once they have been discovered the links should take you there. I'll try to update the names as they come in, and I suspect that the rest will be discovered in the next day or so.

Level 20: Stonebrunt Mountains - Shard of Imperceptible Power (Lucy Item Link)
Level 25: Crystal Caverns - Shard of Faint Power (Lucy Item Link)
Level 30: The Overthere - Shard of Slight Power (Lucy Item Link)
Level 35: Mons Letalis - Shard of Minor Power (Lucy Item Link)
Level 40: Great Divide - Shard of Power (Lucy Item Link)
Level 45: Nagafens Lair - Shard of Incandescent Power (Lucy Item Link)
Level 50: Plane of Innovation - Shard of Increasing Power (Lucy Item Link)
Level 55: Ssraeshza Temple - Shard of Growing Power (Lucy Item Link)
Level 60: Crypt of Decay - Shard of Expanding Power (Lucy Item Link)
Level 65: Stoneroot Falls - Shard of Phosphorescent Power (Lucy Item Link)
Level 70: Valdeholm - Shard of Phenomenal Power (Lucy Item Link)
Level 75: Dreadspire Keep - Shard of True Power (Lucy Item Link)

Very disappointed with the new augs. I think this is the first round of HZ augs that aren't actually any better than the last. The +10/80/80/80 isn't bad, but with the first 75 HZ I would have expected better AC. The Sunder aug is +18 AC FFS...

Stonebrunt - Shard of Imperceptible Power
Crystal Caverns - Shard of Faint Power
Mons Latalis - Shard of Minor Power
Great Divide - Shard of Power
Nagafen's Lair - Shard of Incandescent Power

1/2 way thru 2nd zone wide kill ... finally on a sonic bat.

? Killed entire zone (not Naggy, but wasn't up anyway) and no drop .. will try again, when zone finishes repopping :-/

Thanks VWDiesel ... I started the post, after I got the first 4, thought Naggy one would only take a min or 2 like the other zones, but nay :D

Added your items to my list above Yther. I started noticing that those missing augs were starting to show up in the database so I put them in there and added links to Alla's database so they would show up on mouseover.

EDIT: List is now complete. Thanks to Yther for clearing those zones and filling in the gaps!

Level 65 – Kod’Taz, Broken Trial Grounds

Stone of Light

aug that give 50 HP/mana/end. Are there multiple hotzone augs? These augs seem to only drop off the mobs that turn into unmasked changelings when low on hp.

Is the runic scrap a second hotzone aug for this zone?
