If you are into Illusion forms. Look up the quest "Kicking Tail".
Pretty simple, kill 10 minotaurs, loot tail from named turn in. Done.
15 mins if they con green/grey to you. (Easy peasy for 90 Zerker 2700 AA)

| Exposed to Norrath by the launch of Meldrath's Fortress Mechanotus, the Dragonscale Hills rise up to the south of the Steamfont Mountains. Though seemingly a peaceful vista, the Dragonscale Hills are rife with danger from the native inhabitants, many of whom are not happy about the intrusion of adventurers into their lands.
Here you will find the Kirkoten Minotaur Fortress, a small stronghold of minotaurs led by Overseer Gakkor Deepscar; Prismatic Valley, a canyon teeming with dragonkin and leading to Crystallos; Nightmare Grove, a forested area home to nightmare horses and arachnids; the Citadel of Tri`Qaras which houses the Ladies of the Light; and, the Darkvine Brownie Village in the southwest. Make sure to keep an eye out for the plentiful aggressive wildlife as well as the gigantic Mechamatic Guardian which wanders the western part of Dragonscale. Getting stepped on or kicked by this massive clockwork will surely result in an untimely death. |

Does Dragonscale have alot of Summoning mobs?
Ashengate would be easy, if every freaking mob didn't summon me every tic.

Bug- cant be snared or rooted but if you have the AC and gear and can take the hits they have best items for PP farming.
my lvl 80 wiz - 1800 AA can tank 3 bugs but does have HOT T1 bought group Coin gear 10 items non-visabies and baz bought gear.

Nope...not a lot of summoners.
Unfortunately, lots of things immune to Root/Snare.
This is no place for Shaman solo. You'll be better off in Katta Castrum (if you haven't done it to death already), Loping Plains is probably the place at 81+ (See my post on Loping Plains)

DSH is not connected to Loping, it's connected to Steamfront.....
Just wondering how I get into the minotaur mines in DSH. I have looked for the entrance in the fort but have not found it yet. Can anyone point me in the right direction to the entrance of the mines please?

SEE this is OLD post, but...the mines are close to the front of zone as you come into frm Forrest/Minotaur catacombs, turn left, toward VENDORS and it will be on the right, up a ravine. Beware of traps. and it is congested.
So how do you get to the Steamwork Factory from Dragonscale Hills without having to go through Fortress Mechanotus?
It's a one way trip --- you fall out of the Steamwork Factory into DSH.

Thornheart's loot says it drops here, but the mob himself is said to be from Hills of Shade. Which is it?
As a drop it is found in the Hills of Shade. It can also be bought from Fenden Helter using currency rewarded for completing his tasks.

Tinmizers Wunderwerks is not listed. It is a Instanced zone including the raid task Big Bynn's return. Big Bynn is a level 85 raid mob.

was disappointed in new xpac for having like only 1 new monster model. (big robot)
was sad they used old mino graphics they had since original EQ.
Compared to TBS which was still only a few... sphynx kedge shissar, TSS was good... giants, undead giants, drakkin, oozes (i think), banshee, bixies, griffons, harpies, those fairy things in goru kar
should be another xpac like luclin with a lot of strange monsters that you havent seen in 1000 other places.... have it set in a dream world

Actually, the Minotaurs model has been changed for this expansion... They may be sorta the same as the old ones, but they ARE new models. And, there is another new model, other than the robot, it would be the Were-Orcs. Don't know which zone they are actually in, but I have seen screen shots of them on the main EQ site. And be sure, Kerafyrm will have a new model, there is the Mecho Dragon as well. The new Worg model as well... So, I don't know what you are talking about when it comes to new models... because there are SEVERAL new ones and I'm betting even more that have not been seen (unless you were on beta) in the final raid instances.
