| The Drachnid Hive was erected atop a ledge overseeing the Stoneroot Falls. It is the home of Sendaii the Hive Queen, and a host of her drachnid minions and reanimated drones.
Thick, porous bridges separate each of the dangling cocoons, each one of them teeming with living chitin and webbing. Below the surface is a reanimation chamber, used to reanimate the drained drachnid victims for use as guards and slaves. Under the entire structure is a pool of dripping sludge and run-off from the Hive, swarming with mindless undead shiliskins and leading into the Stoneroot Falls. The westernmost cocoon is the rumored location of Dreadspire Keep. Extreme care must be exercised while milling about this cocoon, as the powerhouse drachnid Drithnak patrols the area. Spend too much time in one place, and you may find yourself dead before you know it. |

i have tried several times to get to dreadspire though the hive but i cant find my way ... even though i have map the mountains prevent me from getting there... is there a tunnel or a path though the mountains

Couple ways.
I hope you are flagged, because if you get agro on the way, it's going to hurt when you can't zone in.
One, you can climb up the outside of the first tower you see when you enter zone, and lev around the mountains to the bridges. Then follow bridge to the last hive on the left and go to the top floor to a round wooden door.
There is a tunnel as well. Inside the first tower. Enter, and go downstairs, (NOT UP)cut across towards the mountains, then go back up and come out at the bridges. If you pass through any webs, they cast a spell to break your invis.
Keep your eye out for a "formal dinner invitation" as you kill in dsk/demi. That will let you instead click a statue in stoneroot on the far NW wall past the wolves , without having to deal with the hive. Have to have it on you the first time to use the statue, after that you can bank it.

The precise path to levitate would be useful. I try to levitate around the mountains and keep zoning back to stoneroot.

At about Negative 383 Positive 514. Standing on top of this pyrmid like thing you look towards you look so that your compass shows inbetween north and east and run straight ahead till you pass the mountains and look to your left you should see platforms to get on top of at this point. If not then make sure your Far Clip Plane is higher or maxd.
I'm a 70 Necromancer, and I went to the Hive to solo for AA xp. I made my way down to the 69.1 instance zone in, where there is 2 camps of 3 mobs with a wanderer in the tunnel. Pull / kill wanderer and then split the camps and agro kited in the narrow hall way. U have to make sharp turns, but it can be done. Oh yeah, 8-10% AA a kill. Happy hunting.
BTW: The Hive is an Indoor Zone, more's the pity.

At the moment doing the exploration task and got alot of trouble finding 1) Warren of the conscripts , 2) Queen Sendaii's shrine and 3) The living bridge. I went to the locations as stated in the hints but seems there is a structure underground and I could not find the entrance. When I went into this building that looks like its connected but all I can see inside is a dead end and Bam my hide n sneak drops and I am dead. So guys any hints of how to get to those 3 locations stated above pls?

i cant find 3 parts of the quest, and i cant even figure out the locs, gonna try to sneak thru here in a min but i bet i just die alot. do you get to the Living bridges through the underground undead area? if so is one easier than the others? any help is greatly apreciated

Alot of the named in this zone have regular names. Not tradtional "Drachnid Chirgueon" but a drachnid chirgeon, another named I saw that drops loot is a hive sentinel.
