Once known as the Greenfields, this area was the site of much bloodshed during the battle between Discord's forces and the Dragorns.

Note: With the Seeds of Destruction expansion, you can go back in time to the Bloodfields as it appeared prior to this battle.

If you see this could you do me a favor? Type

;tell (insert item link here)

You will get an error message like "Could not find player 012AB200000000000000000"

If you can let me know the first 6 characters of that error message I can figure out the item ID.

While the Lucy Item Collector doesn't work, the EQItems collector still does. I was able to upload 3 new items there, and their ids are showing : Mangy Rat Fur Slippers (70024), Bloodstained Dragorn Bracer (70084) and Encrusted Necklace (70099).

50 - 55?
# May 14 2015 at 6:46 AM Rating: Decent
I think this is the zone Teek sends you to at level 50 (or is it 55?). Anyway, be very cautious if coming here below 55. I keep looking for a good zone to MOLO my just-turned 53 enchanter. I'm sick of killing spiders in the Velketor entrance, but it's hard to find anything else at this level. I've tried this zone 3 times to complete a task to kill flesh hounds, and have had to evac all three times. In Velk, dark blue con spiders can barely touch me. It sometime takes a while for my merc to get aggro, but the spiders there do little damage to my buffed chanter. But come into bloodfields and hit a dark blue con flesh hound and it's a different story. First of all they tend to resist my mezzes. But even when I'm able to pull a single mob, before my merc can get aggro, these things have me down to less than 50% health. They hit VERY hard. This explains why I passed a 70 ranger soloing in here. I've seen posts elsewhere about where to SOLO / MOLO at 50, but I think the advice is always for toons 55 or above, like Grieg's End. I'm still open for good suggestions for soloing 50 - 55. Until then, I guess I'll keep killing those spiders in Velk.

"A Dragorn flunky"

Many of these spawn during the fight with Elite Dragorn Jekisia. Max hit was around 300, they appear to be about level 60. Drops included:

Intricate Defiant Plate Gauntlets
Dragorn Fang
Fire Emerald
and cash

I'll put up a picture once it is added.
Good Zone for 57+ Molo or 53+ Group

Hi All - I have been camping here for a bit with my three box and wanted to pass on my experience:

Camping the zoneline to Dranik's is my favorite spot so far. If you are the only one in the area, you can pull Dragorn's from the first room or continue into the hallway and the next room. You can single pull the first room with some finesse, or just cast harmony / pacify etc. and pull however you wish. There are about 5 Dragorn's that spawn here, and clearing this camp over and over is pretty steady XP and low risk.

The next room of Dragorn's is very tightly packed and it is difficult to pull a single. There is also a named that hangs out in the hallway every once in a while, he is about lvl 62, but a cleric mob, so easy to take down if you can handle the Dragorn's without too much issue.

I am currently boxing my 58 RNG / 52 ENCH / 54 BST with cleric/wiz/rogue mercs. This is good XP for the whole gang. The enchanter has not had any trouble landing slows / debuffs once mobs are Tashed.

Dragorn's are on the order of 13-15K HP.

If you outgrow this first room, you can invis and run out of the hallways and into the outdoor part of the zone. Pulls are slower out here though there is more mob variety in terms of type and level.

Happy Hunting.
Nice group zone mid 50s low 60s

This is a great zone to grind xp in. Most the trash mobs are dark blue to level 61. The trash hits up to 325 ish the named here are yellow to 61 summon and hit low 400s. I have not seen a mob here yet do chaos claws. The casters here buff their friends with a dmg shield buff, fought chanter wizzy and mage casters here. There are a lot of roamers here, the mobs have a good size aggro range.

Have fun safe hunting.

Would an ok geared 61 BL and 61 Druid be able to duo this zone?

Which mobs would be handlable and where would be a good place to set up camp?

Thanks for any advice.

My suggestion is to enter through DS and set up camp at the first four way intersection past the room full of Dragorns. No roamers in the passage. There is a named Priest that drops a rare +10 ATK aug. Mobs are easily lulled and can be slowed easily. I two-boxed there for quite awhile with my Ranger and Cleric.

Hi a dragorn box popped today after we killed a mob. Was huge and we couldn't open it. Any idea what is it for?

Is there a map of all the connecting zones? Been gone for a year and just got this exp. Had to... I got the exp and first kill, dinged to lvl 66. Anyway, I'm trying to learn all the new zones and wondering if anyone has a link to a map with all the new connecting zones...?

Talk about the New Zones?
# Oct 08 2004 at 5:38 PM Rating: Default
I'm a 56 necromancer, so most of the new zones are probably too high for me to even try to enter. In fact, even the very first zone is full of blue KoS mobs.

My only real interest right now is in finding the city zone, if there is one.

But, other than that, my big request is that someone higher level than me, who's actually been there a lot, bother writing up a little description of each new OoW zone, in its respective "strategy discussion" section of Allakhazam.

This would help the MANY of us who know nothing about the zones, especially since EQAtlas is absolutely no help in any recent expansion.

Try www.mapfiend.com or www.eq-toolbox.com for your maps to each of the zones.

What I'm asking for is a /description/ of the zones, I have all the in-game maps already.

What I don't have is any knowledge of what the zones are like, or which ones to visit at a 56 necro.

I don't even know where, if it exists, the usual city zone is for this expansion. Or the combat zone which contains quest/vendor NPCs, for that matter.
Fireflow Stone drop
# Oct 06 2004 at 2:18 PM Rating: Default
A Fireflow Stone (the +4 agility one) dropped off a dragorn commoner in the front area of the zone. Nothing special or different about the mob. I assume it to be a random mob drop.
Targeting
# Oct 04 2004 at 6:28 PM Rating: Decent
Fighting here somewhat lately. Just curious if anyone else had this problem. Zoned, killed way into castle, fought through to gate area. In this area the floor is wooden plank. The problem we had was targeting mobs on this floor type. It may just be a problem that they can fix with software, but at one point a mob was engaged and then effectively disappeared but was still attacking. Group could just barely see the very tops of his tag which made targeting problematic and sometimes nothing at all was displayed (no mob form, no tag) which made targeting more or less impossible and yet the fight continued.

Just curious if anyone else had experienced this problem or if it is just a bug that really needs fixing?

This is still a problem.. except it seems like the mob drops WAY below the floor now. Once a mob dropped below the floor and my Wizard cast shifting sight on him (great thing to do when you "loose" a mob). The mob was standing by 4 or 5 other corpses that probably died via some dot. Eventually, the live mobs will warp somewhere, and come back.

I was argo kiting with a druid (or two) when this happened. We just shortened the length of the kite to avoid engaging the mob on the wooden floor areas.
The Keeper
# Sep 17 2004 at 11:11 AM Rating: Default
Met this monk-looking fellow up on top of the walls near the entrance to the field. He was indifferent con to everyone in the group and would not speak to any of us other then to tell us that he wouldn'tspeak to us. Thinking he is for a quest to be revealed later. To get to him, we ran up the ramp in the first clearing, ran along the top of the wall and then left and up through a twisting tunnel (great view from up there by the way). He is red-con at 65. At least he didn't kill us =)
