A twisting canyon lies beyond the Plane of Nightmares, full of undead horsemen and skeletal knights, and leads to a giant stone henge. This is the home of the Mistress of Nightmares.

Also known as the Dream Scorcher for her effect on the sleep of dreamers, Terris Thule is the master of the subconscious and terrorizes those drawn into her realm as they slumber. She is the daughter of Cazic Thule and sister of Morell-Thule, the Lord of Dreams.

Guarded by a horde of undead, and with gargoyles and swarms of dream defiling wraiths at her disposal, Terris Thule has more than a few tricks up her sleeve to help her deal with those who trespass into her plane.

Don't even waste the time running out of the room since you have to buff the mt and others anyhow.
Get specific assigned people to ae buff everyone at once, and continue the fight.
If some folks like, they can invuln right before the ae as well, so save their buffs, like in the Tiranun fight.

Did this today with my bard. We had 2 groups. My bard was the CC, no full enchanter.

We had: 2 warriors 1 ranger 1 sham 1 cleric 2 druid, 2 couple wizzies, 1 rogue, 1 bard, 1 mag.

Tactic: I just mezzed after the first couple of battles when we started running into more and more mobs. Druids and Wizzies and Rangers did Ghetto CC a bit after I had my self full up mezzing 4 or sometimes 5 mobbies. IF you have all mobs mezzed and none alive and attacking Thilin will start to leave. If this happens, bardy mez him and noone buff or heal the bardy till all are dead. Bardy lets mez break and pops FM after he's mana song'ed up the raid. Rinse and repeat.

It will get alittle messy at times. If you have several folks get agro from Tillin, bardy mez him or someone root him, those with agro camp out.

Prep for the final fight, Bardy Mez Thilin and the raid pull the wall mobs 1 by 1. when they dead, bardy let mez break, pop FM and the raid waists Construct.

IF you happen to get agro on Thilin when killing construct, e.g. someone cast an A.E. Bardy mez him, the agro'ed people camp out and come back, bardy pop FM. Then do quest dagger turn in for flag.

Don't forget to hail Thilin for your flag and port out =p

That's how we did it. Went real smooth. We did have one death, shammy slowed right as 6 mob's popped and they ate him before I could get any real CC off or anyone could think to cast a heal on him. That was the only death.

Construct has HELLA hp's, but wasn't too bad other than that.

Make sure you bardy has atleast 2 or 3 points of flowing thought. I only had 3, but Fading Memories really eats up the mana and it's stink to be in a spot where you had to mez him and wait 5 or 10 min for the bard to regen enough mana to pop an FM realizing that the next time you'll prolly have to do the same thing cause bardy will be out of mana again.

Well that's it. I do know I was lucky enough to go through this with a real solid pair of decently equiped groups, but it went without a hitch. Just everyone needs to know their class and not freek when those 6, 7 or 8 mob waves pop.

Latters,
Grinin

This quest grants you access to the Lair of Terris Thule.

Talk to Adroha Jezith in the Plane of Tranquility:

Adroha Jezith says 'My pity onto Thelin. His life on Norrath was a miserable one. As a young man he began to study the workings of fear inspired by Cazic-Thule. The workings had been translated for mortals by Zebuxoruk. Pouring over the texts, Thelin felt his mind being invaded by Cazic. This information was not for mortal usage and the malevolent god stripped him of all his earthly belongings and cursed him to live in [poverty and ruin].'

You say, 'What poverty and ruin?'

Adroha Jezith says 'Aye, he lived in the streets of Eastern Freeport, begging from those passing through the port. He sat quivering, propped up against a wall with one hand out as he watched the travelers pass by. None of them even gave him a second glance. Several years would pass before a female dwarf would arrive to trade some of her family's armor and weapons. She saw and took pity on Thelin. She knelt down, scratched her beard then began to rummage through her backpack. She then placed a [jeweled dagger] in his hand, smiled and returned to her former business.'

You say, 'What jeweled dagger?'

Adroha Jezith says 'This was the only gift that Thelin had received since the curse. It was beautifully crafted and would likely have fetched a handsome price upon the market. He decided to keep the dagger as it was such a kind gesture. Later that eve, Thelin heard the calling of others that studied Zebuxoruk's workings. He recognized the language they called out in. He approached the men and explained he had studied the writings of Zebuxoruk. One of the shaded figures then began to mutter an incantation. Suddenly, there was a bright flash, lush vegetation and a peaceful breeze surrounded them. They had ascended here, to the [Plane of Tranquility] where they could further study the works without interference from the gods and mortals alike.'

You say, 'The Plane of Tranquility?'

Adroha Jezith says 'Thelin enjoyed it here. He assisted the other followers by using all his mana to open a portal to the Plane of Nightmares, the demi-plane ruled by the child of The Faceless, Terris-Thule. Spent from using all his energies, he went to bed early after his victory had been achieved in this task. As he laid in bed, he looked over the dagger that had been given to him by the female dwarf. He smiled at the new peace he had found here and began to fall asleep. Drifting away into the realm of dreams, his subconscious was assulted by the horrors of a nightmare. He tossed and turned from the visions that came before him. So bad did he writhe in his subconscious torment that he turned on the dagger. He was critically injured, and let out a wrenching scream. We found him and were able to heal his wound enough to keep him alive. However, he still lies in a deep coma seemingly [tortured by nightmares].'

You say, 'Tortured by nightmares?'

To get here you first have to complete the Hedge event.

To do the Hedge event you need to go to PoT and hail an NPC <can't recall name atm>. She is in the house that you enter closest to the PoK book but surrounding the PoN portal. You climb a pile of rocks to enter the room. Go around the wall to the back room and the gal on the left beside the ailing guy is the npc. Key phrase is something like "what tortured by nightmares"... not exact but if you follow the dialogue, you will know what to say. <All 18 members of the raid need to do this>. 18 is all that is allowed at any time. Once you receive the "pre-flag", you then move to the Hedge in PoN and hail Thelin. The raid leader will follow the dialogue with Thelin and then once he gets to the key phrase, he says it and then both other Group Leaders will say the final phrase. You are then teleported inside the hedge. Hail Thelin again inside and tell him you are ready. He then takes you through the maze and the encounters. Kill the Construct of Nightmares at the final fight and hail Thelin again to receive your flag for PoNb or Layer of TT.

Now to actualy enter the zone, just walk over a short distance from the hedge to the gate the 2 Guardians are protecting and zone in. Zin is safe. Zoning out is NOT. The guardians will cream you if they are up. As you Kamakzi past the Guardians to zone in you will likely eat the 2 HT's, so you best have 1150 x 2 hp's. Or you can simply take them out on your way in.

Have fun. Not for the faint of heart. But great fun doing the Hedge.
Some info.

Did the Hedge Maze quest to get PoNb flag. Max 3 groups. It's a series of 9 or 10 battles, each one getting progressively more difficult. Having backup healers, backup MA's, and 2+ very capable chanters is a must. I do not know what was handed to the hedge NPC which caused it to port us instantly to a hedge maze (the hedge in PoN is just an open square). The last mob was a boss mob, I'd guess 50k hp's. After that Terris Thule herself came to visit and speak to us, before gating away. The NPC we followed through the maze then gave us character flags and POOF'd us back to the hedge where we started.

Now I just have to figure out how to zone in to ponb and bring a raid force :)
