This is the instanced zone involving the group task "Taking Control", which is the fourth in the "Korlach Leviathan" series.

Given samples brought back from the Lair of the Korlach, Widdlethorpe Gemfinder determines that the water in the lair is connected to other bodies of water in Norrath, namely Lake Rathetear. With the drachnids in control of the Leviathan beast, the devastation they caused in Darkhollow could be repeated in Norrath. Their control over the beast must be broken.
