Vampiric Blades is the biggest hurdle in this mission, second only to the warping-caster pwning mobs.

We have done this mission a few times with a 12.8k pally tank, 2400ac, all defensive aa's. The rest of the group usually consisted of a strong cleric, a significant splash healer, a slower, and the best DPS money can buy.

The zone does repop, albeit slowly. Once repoped, the mobs will warp to you and add wherever you, or they, are. We were setting up for the final mob (who wont do anything but cast as long as you have the DPS) when the zone began to repop and mobs began to add from everywhere.

The named...Vampiric Blades(tough to slow) is the nastiest of all. Harvester of Souls is a joke, Fragment of Vishimtar(necro) is a joke, and Draygun (sp) has high DPS should he go OoM and decide to melee. Don't waste stonewall on this guy until he goes full melee.

Remember the zone is bugged, as is most of eq, so be ready to be cheated out of your win.

Have the paladin add about 400 AC instead of the HP, and you'll be fine. I tanked it with ease at 9.8/2870ish unbuffed.

If you wipe, restart the instance, or it bugs like mad.

Best bet with Vampiric blades is to have the tank stand with the casters, and have someone who's strong, but ultimately expendable (Ranger/rogue, etc)) click the orb. It'll either follow that person up to the group, or warp to the group where the tank picks it up.

Use the warping to your advantage when pulling.

Edit: Do want to add, the zone is BEAUTIFUL. I literally had my jaw drop open when I walked out the first door.
