The banker is not listed in the allakhazam bestiary. His name is Vault Master Shu'zo. He is at -68.71, -109.61, -255.55. There are two ways to reach him:

1) Go to the Chardok B entrance, where the switch on the wall is. Close by is a waterfall. Walk thru it and continue until you see a Treasury Guard on the left. Go thru the door he is guarding, then thru the left door that is down the hallway. Go down that hallway too and go thru the first door that will be on your right.

2) On the way to the herbalist shack, you'll see a wall with 4 mobs on top (a couple of them are Treasury Guards). Levitate to the top of the wall and go thru the doorway that you'll see there. Go down the hallway and you'll see the banker thru an opening on your left. Continue around the corner and you'll come to the same door that is mention at the end of 1) above.

Good luck,
Shadome

Chokidai and See Invis
# May 09 2005 at 4:56 PM Rating: Decent
The notes at the top of this page say that the Chokidai see invis, but this just isn't correct. The only mobs in the early part of the dungeon that see invis are the Reanimated mobs (skellies). Certainly all the various Sarnaks (Di`zok, Shai`din etc.) don't see invis.

I have run invis past Chokidai from the zone entrance to the fort entrance any number of times. Con the Chokidai while invis and you'll see that they con indifferent.

The Fabled Overking
# Mar 16 2005 at 4:44 PM Rating: Default
Holy hell if your doin the new fabled stuffs bring some buddies....he hit me for a max of 5400, i am a 66 sk with 1480 ac(at the time). His AE is not hard to resist, never hit me once. Dunno what check it has, but all my resists were in the range of 110-210. So if your around 100 unbuffed in all with buffed up you should be fine. Hits slow is a good thing, but i wiped my raid by pulling the entire room at one time...so be sure you pacy first :P

For a casual player you should be able to obtain the BP (110 ac 20ish to most stats like 220hp/mana regen 7 Combat effects 5 stun resist 5% strikethrough 5% if i member right). Bad thing is when i killed the raid our OOBER guilds (stasis/unity) were on their way to kill him, so us casual players are f*cked in gaining that BP for a while. So thanks SOE for giving us casual players a way to get some of the gear that the upper guilds have...and thanks upper guilds for taking it from us. You guys can get that gear or better just as easy, save some for us!

RE: The Fabled Overking

5400, Do you think a mob that drops a BP with 110ac is going to hit for 540? honestly.
RE: The Fabled Overking
# Mar 17 2005 at 5:21 PM Rating: Decent
Well I was hoping that maybe sony would make something that would be cool and obtainable by someone not in one of the top 3 guilds in the game. The elemental gods don't even hit that hard... yes, I know they don't drop this kind of stuff... but still.... for most people, the fabled stuff is either not an upgrade or is too far out of reach. Might as well stick to OoW or DoN.. what a let down.

I agree the fabled in kunark need tuned down just a bit, we are the #4 guild on the server and have wiped on Talendor, and Trak everytime we have tried so far. But with a 11k war thats /def a raid can burn the king down before defensive goes down you just need 4 or 5 good clerics.

No kidding. I went in, zapped a recruiter, found out that wasn't going to work, and hurried my behind to the exit. Only problem was there wasn't an exit. Just a wall. I gated out with 14% left on my life bar.

Probably stating the obvious, but dogs near entrance see thru reg invis but not thru invis to animals. Sarnaks are just the opposite. So if you're running to the zoneout you're gonna aggro one or the other. Was soloing between zone-in and -out with my 55 druid, sometimes just root-rotting, sometimes charming a dog. Both worked pretty well, exp was about 1/4 to 1/3 of a blue AA bulb with 80% allocated, wasn't paying attn to the reg exp bar (plus whatever I'm gonna get for finishing my task). Bound just outside zone-in just in case, but was never in any serious trouble even with a couple adds. Glad I finally decided to check this place out.

Care to elaborate? The door is locked, so how is a necro going to get in there without a rogue to pick the lock for them?
RE: Help!!!
# Mar 19 2006 at 5:49 AM Rating: Decent
Can a non kos toon with lev just run across the skellie spawn pit with the trapped bridge and locked door and thru one of those side windows bypassing the locked door?

Once past there it is easy enough to get to king room at least, just fall thru the trapped floor, or is there another locked door that stops you?

And is there a key available that negates the need for a rogue in chardok?

Had to ask.

There are two locked doors on the way to the King and the Queen. The Prince is behind his own locked door in the same general area. So far as I am aware, the only way to get past any of them is to pick the locks.

Target summoning mob behind the door. Send pet to attack mob. Kill pet. Get summoned. FD. Stand up and walk away.

Not sure whether it still works, but it used to back then.

Actually, I guess a non-KoS chanter could do it too, by mem-blurring the mobs after they're summoned. The important thing is having a pet (pets ignore doors) and being able to lose aggro (or just kill all the mobs that aggro) after they summon you.

Maybe a Cleric's hammer pet would work, but that would probably die too fast to cause the mob to start summoning.

Some, yes. I haven't noticed any non-undead see invis near the zone-in or zone-out, but there are a mix of living and undead, and the deeper you go the more see-invis mobs you'll run into.
