Sorry, but why did you post that here? This is an area for talking about this zone, not what your character has and what he needs. If you are a ranger may I suggest checking out The Ranger's Glade, there are multiple places you can post there. There are quite a few expert rangers there that could give you advice on where to go and what to do, etc.

What does shroud of undeath do???
Shroud of Death and Shroud of Undeath are essentially the same spell except Shroud of Undeath gives the Shadow Knight skeleton form. The spell is like the Scream of Death and Vampiric Embrace spells. It gives the SK a 50pt lifetap proc on his weapons.
With Soul Abrasion (Class-based AA) the proc can siphon up to 150pts.
It is a very rare drop off the Battlemaster in Chardok.

I think it gives SK an illusion of a skeleton only (no mana regen effects) the only thing is that either no one knows anything about this spell and I cant find any info about it on the web.

Hi, I was wondering who the Regal Band of the Bathezid drops from, or if it's a quest. If it's a quest, could someone pls fill me in? :) Thanks.

Herald Telcha gives out the ring quests. The Regal Band is the second ring. Queen Velazul Di'Zok gives out the Spirit Wracked Cords quest. Click on the link (above) to Herald Telcha for details.

Spawns in the library. Didn't seem any harder than the trash in the area, then again even the trash has a good 10-14k hp in the royal area.
Not sure of drops as I wasn't in the group that got the kill.

It dropped the History of the Greenmist which I won since I was the only Iksar SK on the raid.

Im level 51, and a paladin (as you see in title) how would this place be for Exp? I play on Bristlebane and am a bit of a coward when it comes to exploring, but I level no the less.

Anyone know what will the Warlord drop? It con yellow to 55 warrior and it spawn in a room near the bridge.

Were camping the Obs last night and got trained by both the Warlord and Myrimond. Our lvl 60 Chanter couldn't mez either of them and the Warlord Enraged as he's health got low. Bottom line is I'd stay away from both of these guys if possible, as our reward for eventually killing both was 7p + 7p.

Have hunted and found no info thus far...
Also, would a level 51 mage be acceptable in a group, or would they insist on being able to Call of Hero?

I got one before they revamped Chardok. I believe it drops like the SoS or SBS, pretty much any mob (cept dogs) can drop it. Its by far the most rare of the random drops (seen maybe 10 SBS and 4 SoS, but only one staff), so be prepared to spend alot of time here.
However ive not seen, or heard of one dropping since they changed Chardok.
You can fight here fine at 51, at least most areas.

Haggle Baron Dry'din is a merchant, located at -80, +350 on the lower level.
Vault Master Shu'zo is a banker, located at -62, -100 on the lower level. Vault guards are near the banker (I forget their exact name).

I was in chardok and looted "Lore of the Illusionist" off some chanter mob. Does anyone know what this is for? Seems like a quest item for chanters, its LORE (laugh) and NO DROP.

Was a great 4 or 5 hours for the Fates Forge members On ECi in chardok last night. Here is what we walked out with....

drops from Overking.I'd say he's a 2-3 55+ groups mob,got crappy fire aoe(200pts max) and isn't that hard if ur puller can pull him alone.He's located deep into castle,a few mobs from the Queen.Sword must be his rare drop cause war/sk BP seems to drop more (we got 3 BP on 4 kills).Hope that helps.

We got an Argent Protector and a BP last night (2 king kills, 1 of each). Not sure on rarity, but I would think the BP would be rarer. It's far more glorious than the sword -- it allows warriors to cast gather shadows (invis) !!! Pricelss, to a warrior.
I think the previous poster was just lucky.

Me and my guild camp royalty for few hours other day killed king 5 times and queen 4 times but in that time a rare spawn called grand advisor zum'uul spawned and dropped a lvl 60 necro spell called ganrenous touch of zum'uul and i was lucky enough to win roll asked many high lvl necro's if they had and many had said no so wondered if any others have seen this mob..

Gangrenous Touch of Zum`uul is a 720 HP DISEASE based lifetap, that is why it costs more. It very rarely gets resisted since most mobs have low DR. In the high end game lifetaps don't always stick, so this is a nice change.

i have gangrenous touch of zummel as far as i can tell it is the same as touch of night (59) it is a 720 hp life tap but costs 20 more mana i tried this spell on a friend in a duel to see if it decreased anny stats but he said no.

Okay saw a new mob in chardok since luclin has came out. Called a di'zok illussionist and is a decently tough chanter npc mob. He will slow your group and put out nice 750dots. When we killed him he dropped a Lore of the Illussionist while his pet dropped a sword and shield all no drop of course. Anyone have any idea what quest these are used for?

We killed the Shai'Din Illusionist a few times in the tunnel before the bridge tonight. He has at least 12k hp. They dropped a "Lore of the Illusionist." Our enchanter looted the Lore, just in case it turns out to be something useful. It wasn't hard to kill with a group of 50s, had a pet, and slowed our tanks.
FYI, there is no reason to kill the Illusionists. The have no loot, are undercons, and are indifferent with no faction, so no aggro. The only reason you might want to kill them is so another mob can spawn it it's place.

saw two of him myself tonight. one in the doorway at the start of the place, one right by the bridgekeeper/captain spawn area. both were pretty tough, yeah, did the 49 chanter dot../shrug. the slow's annoying. mainly just a bunch of hp's - the sword/shield i'm sure are absolutely worthless - like evil eye pets. the scroll i'm wondering about too. we got one from each illusionist.

We were in deep near the ratman for the VP quest when we saw an Iksar Collaborator spawn, he conned indif to us all and responded to no hails, however our monk refused to fight him so we didn't drop him, anyone have any info of this guy?

Anybody know what the story is with the little GTM(and everybody else) sarnak up front who when hailed seems to ask for some things like Green Goblin Skin. Is this some form of faction quest? I'm not a Chardok regular, but he seems to be another new twist here.

The faction that goes up when you kill in Chardok is Goblins of Mountain Death. These 2 factions are adversary, meaning if you kill 1 you get faction up with the other. If you want chardok faction you kill the goblins and give their skins to the guy at entrance. With good faction you can buy stuff in Chardok, and do quests also possibly.

on eqprices.com they say that a piercing weapon called a rabid chokidai fang drops...it is a 14 dmg weapon usable by rogues....please if anyone knows who drops this could you please enlighten me that would be an extreamly sweet backstabbing weapon and i can't live without it ;) hehe i love turning heads doing 110 dmg backstabs with a crystalline spear at lvl 18 and would love a good twink upgrade :)

Im sure they do exist, I haven't found wear yet. Druid friend has all but Boots atm. We live there. We are thinking Kennel master, only seen two loots off him. Its boots tho. You'd think it would be off an easy mob but no. Put the pos stuff on the hard guys and the ok stuff on the easy ones...

I'm a 57 mage...levelled from 56 to 57 here the whole way...SoS is rare...and for your 40 pal...he'll get eaten up...you can bring all your friends in there that you want..but even if the 60 is like a cleric...you'll still not be able to get your SoS...IMHO just level up monk to like 51..not until then can you actually be wanted in group
Where is the library area located? That is apparently where Loremaster Piza'Tak spawns....

We are going to try and wanted some comments from someone who did it, if possible.
Our strategy is :
... lots of stuff getting up to the SAFE HALL LOCKED DOOR ...
- Kill the safe hall spawns (they should rename this now)
- Hack our way into the library and set up there
- Pull the herb room into the library.
- Pull the king room into the library.
Any comments would be appreciated.
We are going to try and wanted some comments from someone who did it, if possible.
