At night, Dragoons can be seen patrolling the paths. Sarnaks, plantlife, and wildlife roam all throughout The Overthere while the scorpikis can be found in and around the massive chasm leading to Charasis. |

I saw this NPC in the overthere, at loc 3661, -825, red to a lvl 50... anyone know who it is??
This character is one druids hand drops into to get the Cleansed Spirit of Kunark, one of the last stages of the druid epic.

So KOS that you might want to skip the zone all together... Its not fun to be running from something just to hit lvl 50+ undead guards that you are KOS to. Trust me, I had it happen with my high elf agnostic mage.

how do i get up faction with the goons cause im a half elf rogue but i have the mask of desption so i can be dark elf nd they wont attack me and i want to get my faction up with them.

i have no intention of being rude but it will take a VERY long time to get you faction up. when i was a little troll i tried to get my faction with FP up for HOURS at a time. i barely even raised it from scowling. the point is is that i would just keep using the mask and try to always keep it on when in OT. try killing Dwarfs though
Ok, you can solo here from 16th level to around 22nd level, fear kiting works the best. FWI the chickens are not animals so you cannot panic animal them. You should break levels in about 4 to 6 hours. Be sure to stay on the south side of the outpost and con everything. Kitties here share the same name so what you think is a blue Sabertooth Tigress around 17th level could be a Sabertooth Tigress around 32nd level. Con Con Con. From 23rd to say 28th the zone is pretty hard/easy to hunt. Find someplace else to get to 28th, like Lake of Ill Omen. At 28th you can group in a ledge group or solo fear kite.
The mobs near the outpost from 16th to 22nd are not social (meaning they do not help each other out) the sarnaks on the other hand are social and will help kill you, so just be watchful of wandering Sarnaks. You can also med in the middle of the field and not worry, except for Sarnaks cause their just plain mean!
Its been a while since I soloed on the ledge with my ranger so I cannot tell you if the Rhinos/Cacti/chickens/Kitties are social or not but Sarnaks are as always social. But you can hunt here from 28th in groups or low 30's soloing into your 40's. Grouping past 36th the xp get a bit slow, so if you can solo go down to the corner of the inbetween FM zone and WW zone and solo away.
The Overthere is one of the best places for kiting classes to excell in. I leveled my necro twink from 16th to 22nd in 6 days with only average time invested...roughly 4 to 6 hours per level.

Overthere is a lovely zone, a nightmare for those who are not welcomed by VS.
You can group or solo the mobs by the shore around level 20. Almost all of the mobs there con level 20 or lower (aside from ruins where a bunch of Sarnaks are spawned at)

Only evil races are welcomed to the outpost no matter what deity you worship.
Human agnostic monks can safely wander the outpost, but if you are a monk who worships Quellious(SP) watch out! Get your Feign Death button ready.
Agnostic spell casters, I think I saw an Erudite walking about the outpost. But Con them first to be safe. Any enchanters who are not agnostic and is kos in their original form will still be Killed on site in any illusion, (they see through to your god)
There is also a delightful and rewarding quest in the outpost with the War Braids the Sarnak Berserker drops. Turn in 4 warbraids to Captain Rotgrime and you get better faction with VS and pretty decsent ammount of exp up until 36 or so.

Would a lvl 31 warrior be able to find a group here and get good exp without dying a lot? Or should i just stay in frontier mountains until around 33-34... also would i have to bind in FV because im KoS

no u can go there cause i went there with my 28 rogue and got very good exp group with a lvl 40 if ur not kos to the goons u can get a bind there.

You will be good with the people at the outpost if you
1) are evil

5) a lot of killing and watching for mobs that lower VS factions

Someone asked about binding, and got a replie saying get a bind at wall in city. OK what wall in what city. If a good Ranger will get killed in the city by the evil races how u sapose to get a bind and sell goods if u cant get in city?

There is a strip of sand, when you swim around the
wall in the water. there you get bound safely.
Hard for non lighties to get Venril Sathir faction though, so the shopping trips will be long, unless you have a friend helping you.

You won't be Kos to anything at the beachhead unless you have messed up your faction. They should con apprehensive.

ive been wondering how to get over to that place when i went on the docks it took me to the ocean of somthin i forget but that wasnt the overthere i stayed on and it took me back to the oasis. so plz tell me how to get there

Get off the raft and run strait across the island to the other docks. There will be a boat there that will take you to The Overthere.

I soloed and in groups with my ENC all through the 40s. Whenever you kill Sarnaks you get faction boost with Indigo Brotherhood. That is also faction for the Outpost. (Remember way back when you used to kill DVinn for fun in Crushbone and thought "hey who the f*** is the Indigo Brotherhood?") Well here they are at the Outpost.

You could not be more wrong. The evil outpost in The Overthere is on Venril Santhir faction, not Indigo Brotherhood. Indigo Brotherhood is the Neriak Warrior guild faction.
This is true. Indigo Brotherhood is the Warrior Guild of Neriak. Venril Santhir is the faction for the Overthere outpost, which by the way, is a very important faction to keep up for us evil people. It's kinda one of those factions you don't wanna get down, since it's very hard to get up if you push it to KoS level.

i am 34 half elf war, heard this is sweet exp, so i figure get to 35 or 36 here then guk, but those dumb guards kill me before i even get into the zone. anyone got a way to get away from them or a map of where they chill so i can get 1 stupid lvl here. and on a side not 35 is ok to try and get into *** sup room right?

I am an agnostic erudite mage and my con to the outpost was dubious. Though I'm sure enchanter and wizard erudites should also be dubious, I can't be sure. Just telling you that you are not kos and I did not change my faction in any way before i conned. Also, I'm pretty sure but not 100 percent sure that goons are on same faction table as rest of outpost.

This is an update to the above post for clarification. I turned in no more than(i cant remember exact number) 3 sets(12 braids) to raise my faction from dubious to apprehensive. Hope that helps.

i noticed the npc Kurron ni isn't on the list. I thought he spawned in ot for an SK quest. Anyone know what kind of spawn time this guy has? I've been trying to camp him for over a week and have not even caught a glimpse of him yet.
Kurron Ni spawns in the outpost at the top of the top of the hill by the docks, close to the east wall. He's near the building with Admiral Tylix, the ghost Iksar with the pet.

I hate this guy is dangerous, he killed me for saying what delicate mission, stay the f*ck away from him at all cost, i lost lvl 37 because of him. I hope he is camped until Vernant nerfes his *** so a lvl 5 can kill him.

This guy is the very first NPC for the SK Epic Quest...from what I understand, he is a lv 55 rogue and you need a good group of 50+ to take him out...

That's the last "cap" per se, but you get add-ons to your damage (plus five or ten, at certain levels).
