I just looted a Vial of Drachnid Blood as well. Reason I grabbed it was that it looked like all the Unique poison vials. e.g. Crookstinger Poison so I thought maybe it was something I could apply to a weapon... no luck. On the other hand, I'm pretty sure the web sacks ARE used in a poison recipe, Which means that it is merchant fodder.

I found a Vile of Drachnid Blood on one of the Drachnids. It is Magic, Lore and No Drop. Looks awesome and unique. Has any one else seen it ,or know what it's for? Also, What are those drachnid Web sacks For?

I looted a vial of drachnid blood too. Ive been looking around, nobody seems to know what quest its used with. I think I ended up selling it, It is very rare, in 10 lvls of hunting in DL and KC area I've only looted one of these. If anyone has any info please post, im very curious

I don't know of any player-character use for Drachnid Web Sacks. I see them often on merchants in Kunark, which leads me to suspect they are merchant fodder *grin*. If they are usefull to players i'd be willing to bet it'd be in either Tailor or Smith, but i personally doubt this.

i had three time loot the vial of drachnide blood and i search as you to know WHAT FOR.
Two men give me two different aswer
the first : it s a rogue quest but i dont know this quest
the second : it s for a melee equipement but dont remeber this
So if someone have any tips on this loot he will make some happy guy

Anyone run into this.....blue to me at 49 but packs mega hp's....cast immobilize and 6 banish undeads and a stun for like 3600hp's of dd and he still had almost 1/5th health....had to run him to zone for help....he dropped a piece of medallion...no drop lore magic item.
I cant find the mob on this site, so not sure what to think.

This is a 40-50 zone. Don't bother coming before 40, unless you think you'll get lucky.

It is possible to fight here at L33, I did it with a full guild group for a couple of days, no deaths. We did have a L50 Paladin in the group though, and another Pally and Warrior about 35. If you dont have some major tankage lined up, I'd stay away for now... OT is fine but I highly recommend Dalnir for L29-39. I went from 35 to 39 in a week there, dings 3 days in a row!

Stay in OT till 40, I did groups on ledge, or for better loot and good exp the Tower, if you have a really good group you can do the ruins near the Named Scorpicus's. I think the Min lvl for DL to be able to get a group would be Mid to High 30's.

Well normally you couldnt's solo in DL as a warrior, but just save up 35k, buy a fungi tunic and you can, happy hunting! =)

As a 40 level Ranger with my tracking set to /con and view the mobs by range. I'm able to keep a steady stream of yellows and whites comming into my group. In the last two nights being on two two and a half hours each night I'm getting a yellow bubble of xps each night and have picked up over a hundred plats not including stuff to sell. I don't know about you guys I consider that good for a hell level.

From what I understand, Gore is KOS to undead forms and wolf form. Wolf form I know for a fact due to personal experience. Another thing, regardless of faction with her, Gore will attack anyone she comes across if someone aggros her. She does have a quite nasty breath weapon and hit me for 500 a hit. I was not dumb enough to attack her, but someone trained her to KC and some uhm... nice... druid have given my whole group wolf form. Well, needless to say we died. She gets trained to KC a LOT! Be careful when hunting in that area.

i saw this named NPC running into a wall outside karnor's castle, the name was Gorenaire, it was in HUMAN FORM!!!, i dunno if this was a bug but i have a screenshot..

Hail! I currently play a 37druid and I group in Lguk however I found that getting succesful groups takes too long so I am thinking about going to DL. My question is could I find a group here? And would the dragon in this zone be kos to me? I've never killed that negatively affected my faction with them but I have killed a few mobs in Mistmoore. Send me a tell on the tribunal if u have any answers thnx.

I was a 35 enc when i came, instantly found a group almost every time. I am now lvl 43 and have gotten all 7 lvls in DL. GREAT exp... and dragon will not be KoS to you if you don't have a illusion or have not pissed off the ring of scale.

What levels hunt here?

Just want to say that last weekend a group of friends and I were hunting in Dl at a little hut by the SE corner of KC. well as our chanter was medding and warrior was pulling 2 big **** chickens spawned on her head named Hard beak and Soft beak. they fought together and after hitting this thing for about 5 min noticed there was no HP loss on them. We zoned to KC to regroup shouting all the way train. After we regrouped we went back to our spot and wouldent you know those oversized KFC rejects were still there so we decided to try to kill them again. Id like to add that these mofos even fawned death a few times and could not be hit when they did this. We finaly figured out that the one named Soft beak had to be killed first then the other. Well the only loot on them was 33pp each and one had a gate potion to everfrost and the other had a potion of rejuvanation on it. Not bad loot just wanted to let ppl know that there was another mob out there besided whats on the beastionary abouve, that is unless they were GM-controled, no idea either way.

I am a level 46 ranger and have been fighting here since 40. That seems like a good level because with ur lvl havin a 4 as the first number seems to b the main reason ppl get in groups for some reason. Even though at level 39 there isnt much of a difference with new spells and all. I have seen people here at 35 in groups, though mainly classes like cleric, ench etc. Unless you want to be lfg for an hour i suggest go to dl at 40

Whats up with that? It shows up on the zone loot list and says that multiple mobs drop it, but when I checked the ENTIRE beastiary nothing had it, I have not found it on any of my loots, its the only reason I am in this place, thinking of going to L Guk if this item is nerfed, any clues?

Gem Encrusted Ring was removed from loot tables, if it's anywhere might drop in VP, but doubt it. They were droping during that first week of Kunarks release before they fixed it.

A new NPC popped up on track the other day, named Baldric. Anyone who this guy is? He con's red to me at 51, but I didnt have time to go find him and see if he's KOS or not. He seemed to be somewhere around the vincinity of druid ring.

I noticed that they cut down the amount of plat on the mobs, usually get about 3-6pp on each mob. I didn't get a single plat, neither did many other people. Most I got was 9gp. I hope this is a small bug or something, my income relied on these loots!!!!
Hmm, I can't confirm that. I killed a couple mobs in DL last night and got some nice cash (up to 6pp) plus some extra gems and jewelery.

Dunno, but yetis are excellent exp. Fight tundras till their green, then switch to glaciers in the hidden cave. Got through 48 in 2 days with these guys.

Well our 3 person group of lvls 40 to 51 pulled this guy LoL. Hehe it was my idea being 51 not many things con blue and to me he coned blue. Well we had a paladin lvl 40 wiz lvl 45 and me the ranger lvl 51. I pulled him and he didnt hit terrible for his lvl(anywhere from low 50s to high 90s) yet hes a monk so hes hits very very fast. Basically I went from 1500hps to 400hps in about 20secs LoL. At this point I snared him and let the paladin tank him. Same thing, well it wasnt looking good we had done about 2k damg in this past minute and he was only 1/5th done. So i started casting my spells and shoting my arrows. We got him a little below half and may have been able to have taken him if not for the fact everyone was Oom and the paladin had less then 2 bubs and I had 2 bubs left( not to mention there was a Giant near us). So we evacted and that was end of story. But he was close to getting us and has Id say about 10k in hps quite a lot for some stupid iksar merchant. Oh well

I killed this guy some weeks ago (i was about lvl 48, halfling druid). I didn't know hes a merchant but I realised it as soon as he fell. He didn't give me any exp at all (he was blue to me) and did leave no corpse to loot. Well, it was just a waste of mana and time, hehe.

Cleric buddy of mine lvl 40 sent my team a tell asking what a Rotting Skeleton was. Well after some research we found out and went to assist his team ;) Skel hit for 110's and was Red to 40th drops a "piece of medallion" an item for the Medallion of Obulous Quest t oget you into Veeshan's Peak. He went down pretty fast but we had 3 clerics, Warrior and 2 druids all lvl 39-40. He is a rare spawn on the wall to right of FV tunnel behind the Undead Ruins. Hope this helps all you VP questers ;)

Don't use wolf form here AT ALL. You will be kos to the dragon that virtually everyone is aimable or something to (my druid is kindly)
When i heard about the dragon i was running around looking for it. Someone had trained it out by Karnor and I saw it instantly go for a druid in wolf form, then another, then another. I got hit once in its aoe fear/damage spell which took my 52 druid to nearly half hp. I backed off and healed ; ). The dragon is still not kos, after fearing you, was still kindly to me so I just got out of the way. The 39 or something druid died pretty darn fast.
My druid pretty much stopped using wolf form since they nerfed it, plus it goes away when zoning and I find I zone a lot in kunark. I used it the other day beating on some lower stuff to try to get Grachnist in warsilks woods, since I'm kos to everything anyway (like iksar guards, etc)

You also will get nailed using Call to Bones spell. I guess the dragon gets pissed at anybody not in thier true form.

She is also KOS if you're invised...She is kindly to me, but dropped me fast when I zoned out of Karnor's invised!

Most likely she was blasting some other punk with a AoE and you got caught in it. First time i saw her I was invised running to portals(she conned amiable so she does see through invis). I stopped and chatted with her a while and had my picture taken with her.

Greater Spurbone skeletons spawn in the ancient combine outpost, con yellow or red at 35.
