There is a skell called "a rotting Skeleton" droped "piece of a medalion" level? hits for 109, dark blue to 50 pally and indifferent to me.
no fractions with it. he is located right past entrence to fontier mounts up on a hill on the left as if going to FV.

My guild mate in the Norrath Guardians of Honor on the Tribunal server sent me this info:

Was found in The Dreadlands at 2241.48, -5151.48,
302.65 on a hill, in a rocky area not too far from the FV tunnel. Conned blue, and indifferent to me, an Iksar Monk, at level 51. Picture http://www.multisolutions.se/eq/rotskel.jpg

he's not new, been there since expansion came out. the medallion is for the veshans peek key, it is on of 9 medallions needed.

This MoB spawns every 7 mins, anybody know roughly how often the rotten one spawns instead of the regular skele?

I'm currently a lvl 36 (almost 37) chanter, would I have a hard time gettin a group here? My guild says this is a great place to hunt. Please, any info would be greatly appreciated, like where to hunt, if I can get a group, etc. Thanks in advance ^_^

You could most likely get a group since you're a chanter and have crack, though I would think it would be best to wait until 39. DL is more of a 39 to 49 zone.

Hiyas im a 34 ranger and highkeep is starting to get really boring. i didn't know where to post this message so ill do it here ). wehre should a 34 ranger hunt? anyone advice would we great, thx!

Overthere, Great Divide (if you want to be on Thurg/SS faction), or the Thurg Mines (if you want to solo the animals down there).

There seems to be 2 new camps of drolvags around KC. Mobs include Drolvarg protectors , War ragers and Warlords ( mini Warlords not the same as the one in KC ). They are all dark blue to a 52 Monk I would guess the Warlord is about level 45 and the others between 40 and 43.

Anyone have any further info about which side of KC we should be looking for these? Or is it just a pipe dream for those of us looking for a little more xp in the area?

I get the same exp in DL soloing at 39-40 with my bard as I do in DSP and the mobs in DSP have less hp (large zelniaks, wolves, tribal gatherers, etc). The only difference I see is that the mobs in DL drop plat whereas the loot sucks in DSP besides the blocks of acrylia from the tribals.

i was just wondering, but could a lvl 30 ranger (who uses a wurmmy and centi LS)hunt here? obviously not solo, but group? any info would be great. thanks

Most groups fight around Karnor's castle, all the mobs in the area would be several levels (5 to 15) so you wouldn't be able to fight effectivly there. There are a few lower level areas but they are rarely camped by groups and even then you would be a bit on the low side.

Most people hunt Dreadlands start around 39 or 40 up to maybe 51 or 52. Though an occasionaly healer or support class as low as 34 will sneak in. In general melee classes and offensive casters will have a hard time here hitting critters or landing spells before about level 40.

At level 30 in Kunark you may want to consider The Overthere or Frontier Mountains at the giant fort.

Found a frozen soulstone in one of the yeti caves today, magic lore no drop, no stats or slots, mnk hum iks. Anyone know what it is/what it's for?

Since when can Drolvarg's see invis? I've been playing in the DL for the last couple of the days, and tend to cast camo on myself when sitting at the KC zone line to med and wait to find a group. Every time there is a train of drolvargs, they walk right up to me and start wailing on me with my camo up. I con them with camo up and I get ready to attack. I admit I havent spent a lot of time in the zone, but I dont remember having this problem before. Something added in the last patch maybe?

Was running thru DL to meet a friend at FV, got all the way across, when i was searching for the tunnel ent, a MG Brae aggro'd, i solo'd him. Dropped Weighted axe, giant lords tunic, and Forest loop, prob one of the luckiest solo's I've ever had! So yes....they can drop FL

Was hunting in Dl other day and was killing giants. Since FM only a couple zones away i thought that the giants here might drop floops. I asked group and they said they don't. But on here it says they do. Do they drop here or not?

Not a drop. Its monk shackle quest item. And it is used in monk epic quest.

Is it possible to find a group in DL for a lvl 39 rog? he is not twinked but has quite a few good stuff, i worked hard on him.i heard the xp is great there so i was wondering if it is possible for me to lvl there.

Level 39 is about when most groups will start taking you in DL. You can fight here near the ice tunnel in your lower 30s if you have a full group. Good luck

I am a level 60 mage with epic, Me and a level 60 epic shaman took down Veltar alone tonight, Conned yellow, Slowed, and malised was all it took, Oh yea, and about 10 mins ~

These mobs are blue to 37. The prob most groups are a bunch of whiners and dont want to group lower than 40. I created a group of upper 30's: Wiz 42 wiz 39 wiz 36 SK 37 ench 38 and Cleric 41. We did fine for 3 hours. There are 50+ players here so if you are patient you can get a group. One thing is not to try a be like the rest just your best.
