When I first went to BB, I thought the gnolls were annoying with their gangs... now I found a new nuisance. Most of them heal each other and themselves, run off, jump on their shacks, and sproadically hit for 25+. Maybe I'll come back another day, but for now my lvl 14 warrior is staying elsewhere.
NO I brought my halfling Warrior here and he was apprehenisive. Dwarves I hear are the same. As a side note they KOS dark elves and sometimes druids in Wolf form. Go figure kitties not liking dogies there.
Today me and my 31 cleric friend killed her twice. I am a 30 ranger, and we whooped the snot out of her. Very easy kill, she hardly hurt me. Was blue to both of us. Then we met that stupid Tiger Sphai who aggroed on us, and him and all the greens killed us. Sphai was blue to me. Hope this helps someone.
is his placeholder "a tiger" in the hut with the basement..and if so is he a rare spawn cause ive killed almost everthing in the zone and he hasnt spawned for me in 2 days
BetaNeutral faction is old faction, Centaurs, Priest of Discord and all other "truely neutral" mobs in the game are of this faction, it has not, and still does not "work"
Since they revised this place, I think it sucks in a major way. The wild tigers, of which there are 3 in that pit, were green to me at 35 (ranger) but they hit hard as hell and killed me pretty quick. Everything in this zone seems to hit at least 10 levels above what it should, even the freaking wharf rats bite for in the 20's! I killed several of the tigers after I got back, never any xp there and no loot. Also, the cat in the bar, don't remember the name close to 2 named cats and a drunken one), was an even con at 35. I knew better than to whack him, probably hits like a frost giant if compared to the other mobs in here. No fun to me, I put this one on my &^%& zone list after 3 days of it.
Has anyone ever seen the tiger Spahi? I assume he's on the island where the wild tigers are, but I haven't had a chance to check it out yet. I assume he's a rare spawn, but wondered if anyone had any info on him? Thanks!
Upon my exploration of this new 'upgrade' I had the fortune of running across Maugarim (cleric greave icon spawn) in her new spawn area. It is in the small basment in the temple where Mitty used to spawn. go down the stairs and she is in the room to the left while the banished kerran is now in the room to the right.
This island is in off the Toxxilla Forest zone and is called Kerra Ridge. Wisp Island is the first stop in Erud's crossing traveling from Qeynos to Erud.
...this use to be a great place to hunt. Right after bertoxx was opened this was the hot spot. Always around 20 people there. For people like me who had cheap video cards and could not travel in Qeynos (Thank Prexus that is fixed :) this was great. There was always someone willing to go. Normally atleast 2 groups in there. These days you just see a few 30+ people looking for Mitty or Lceric Armor. However at 4-8 killing the males/females in the "front" is great. They can drop up to a gold and half, normally some fish, and sometimes some gems/rings. I sure hope this place is not upgraded, rather perhaps turn into a possilbe city. Making some cats the same faction as those on the wisp island. Upping the zone would be annoying, great place if Qeynos is not your thing.
The reason you often don't see many people here are the pathing problems (Train Central) and its location (the level range for this dungeon is pretty much boat travellers). I believe it was mainly intended for Eruds, being the next step up from Tox Forest, but it is an annoying place to fight. The Female cats will heal anything you are fighting, even if they themselves are not in the fight. The deeper in the dungeon you go, the more you are guaranteed to pull. I had a high teen character go there to fight the Chieftain, but when we attacked him EVERYTHING else (all green) came to his defense. We ran to the zone and everything but the cats towards the necro isle came with us. It was crazy. Apparently instead of fixing pathing, they are slating Kerra for eventual 'upgrading' much as they did with Paw. Otherwise, it will sit empty save the people hunting Cleric Quest armor or the Paw.
Maugrin was blue to me at lv 32 and yellow to a lv 28.. about lv 30. She is tough and likes to fear kite with her pet chasing you (know from experience).. Easiest way to take her is to blind and dot her. Root her pet and then blast and melee her and ignore the pet. She almost killed me and a ranger the first time because I opened with a DOT and she opened with Fear, Boilblood and engulfing darkness. Second time I opened with starfire, immolate, creeping crud, rooted the pet away from her and then Combusted while the ranger beat on her and it was over with quickly. If you are over 28lv the other necros won't interfere.
