Revamped on August 26, 2003 during Legacy of Ykesha, this is the higher level version of
Cazic-Thule.
Cazic-Thule.
| The Accursed Temple of Cazic Thule sits in the southern portion of the Feerrott. Dwelling within its boundaries are a whole host of lizardmen worshippers and various aggressive species ranging from spiders, raptors, and giant mosquitoes to bubbling oozes, gorillas, and greenblood piranha, all of which fiercely protect the temple grounds.

The Diviner the Archron, Steel Gholem, Stone Gholem, The Centobite and the Avatar. Check out some old Cazic guides that talk about rubicite. The rubucite was replaced with the rouge armour.
One note is that this zone is now a bit underused. There are alot of Rouges and SK's looking for groups there and not alot of healer types. This place is wonderful experiance and pretty good cash but Verant stripped this zone when they only put items for 2 melee type classes here.
If your going down there, try to bring a healer friend with you. Most people who just want experiance will love Cazic.

The Alligators here drop the things needed for each of your first four focus items (the broom, torch, stein, and shovel) as well as Torn Pages of Mastery Earth/Fire/Water/Wind which you will need later for a far greater task. So unless you are desperate to increase your purse this is the camp you should consider first when entering the temple.

Upon hearing that alligators in CT drop the items for our Focus quests i thought this would be a safer thing to camp. Upon checking this guid i noticed that they were at least lvl 20. My question is can a Mage (lvl 20) safely go in and camp these solo? If not, any suggestions would be great.

CT has some amazing places to gain xp for lvls 24-34... best place and way to gain is most definitely the AOF. Sit in the room up the ramp from the AOF bubble and have a full group. (must have a chanter/bard with AOE mez and a puller who knows what they're doing) A group i had one night cleared the entire grid and the AOF room and not one of us died. I was lvl 26 at that time and i'm not sure of the levels of the rest of my group. If you want great xp in CT, AOF is the way to go.

umm no. I have never seen anyone of good class and race do the DF quests as i be a Troll SK all me seen iz da trolls an da ogres an da dark elfies do it. me neber seen any humanz or erudites do dis. mainly cuz me don know to many. prolly if i knew a lot more, i wud see demz do it. buh prolly not, cuz i wud eat demz. steal da decayed an turn in meself.

Was in a group last night where there were decayed pieces but our SK already had it. No other SKs in the zone.
I don't think anyone would have been deprived if I had looted it and later completed the quest. In fact someone might just be grateful to be able to pay and acquire it! As it stood, the item rotted and no one benefit'd.
I hear what you're saying. I don't want farmers keeping me from acquiring an item. But on the other hand, there can be some benefit. It's a fine balance.

there is another acronym for SK's, the person that starts the sk epic quest weapon's name is innouuk spelled backwards (kuuon ni)

I am lvl 26 and want to come there to get my quest armor. (shadowknight). I have heard that other players who are not sks will loot the decayed armor instead of give it to the sk who needs it, if there is a sk in that group.
Are the players really this discourteous to someone who dreams of nothing but her darkforge?
I know I would never loot something that another race or class needed for their quest armor. Please give the sks the opportunity to fulfill our quest. )

Hi. All the groups I have been in give me first dibs. I am a lvl 32 SK on the E-marr server. If you are on the E-marr server and I see some decayed that I don't need I will surely let someone else loot it.

I've been In Cazic Now for 3 Days Camped Pretty Much everything around my lv (24) I know I'm kinda low for this zone but when I log on without group I run back and forth between Ferrott and Cazic like 10times Trying to avoid Killer Trains. If your lower then 20 DO NOT come here to many trains I died 4 times but still gained 1level in 3 days

It drops OFF of cazic thule - not out of cazic thule. Just get yourself to level 46, then go to fear, then go kill Cazic Thule (the god of the zone). And hope your a lucky random. Oh but wait, there buffing the gods??? So we really have NO idea what will load this weapon after the planes modifications. Sorry - but good luck.

I've been hunting the Courtyard for a bit now... And I must say, FS drops plenty, even on the littler stuff I fight. With tight groups it probably wouldn't be too hard to get to 30. I got half of level 21 here in one night... (about 4 hours play... And I was grouped with people up to 28)

is this a good place to get to lvl 30 very fast? i have been in ill omen, making about 30pp a day, does anything here drop bronze?? how about FS? please send tells to me, im on the fennin ro server and am having a whole lot of trouble getting to lvl 30.

Bah! the first time in Cazic-Thule and being a Cazic-Thule follower, the lizzys were KOS to me. No friendship between brethren. Hell, even the gators were KOS to me.

From what it seems, if you ever want to talk to Roror, the high priest of cazic-thule, you have to kill abunch of thes lizzard men for faction. After the recent patch Roror is kos to good races, and on the opposite faction of the lizzards. So I suppose if you wanted to get your faction up with the lizzards, you could camp Roror, but since hes level 49 with a 35 pet, thats gonna be tough to say the least.

unclear about faction changes yet but one thing has definitely changed..the Avatar of Fear now aggros on ppl in certain areas of the silvered guard area...very unnerving and a sad change to what ued to be a train free controllable area. he spawns about 100 feet below the temple, and i have fought here for combined about 30 levels on various chars, but he never aggroed like that before...after he is out he roams the zone, heading for the throne room first, then its almost impossible to get rid of him cuz right about when he is oging back home someone zones in and he aggros almost from the courtyard. The first time i thought it was just a uniques occurence, but found it repeatable 4 times in 2 days...gave up after that.

Anyone notice what happened with the faction in Feerott-Cazic Thule yet? I heard that the factions are changed but I haven't checked to find out. Probably something about the lizardman faction though, since the message said about how people can safely warp to Cazic if they get their faction up.

I've been told the gloves are dropped in this zone, but I've been unable to figure out by whom. I need them for researching my level 29 pet spells.

I have also found these in dalnir, along with eyes of serilis, and flame of vox, seems a good place for mage research drops. Necro drops not so good, Im a necro a frequent Dalnirs often but not many words to be had, however there is a great quest in here for necros im currently working on
With the revamp, i really doubt you cang get the gloves of rallos zek here. :) GL

fyi...I got some off an aviak avocet in south karana once. dunno if that's a common drop for them though cuz I never saw another pair on one after that.

they will occasionally drop off of the gators in this zone... the gators are a good source of all caster research components for around this level...

Dunno if they're dropped in this zone, but i found a pair in Castle Mistmoore. got them from a mob in the crossyard or what it's called, at the beginning of the zone that is

I also find these gloves in Mistmoore. I camp here pretty heavily and I at least see 1 a day. I think they only drop off of Castle mobs however. Good luck!

Those gloves drop everywhere that has a creature which is approx. lvl 29 or whatever they are used for... (i.e. HK and all the other places listed above)

Man, if you come here like i did at a lower lvl, yur basically screwed Lol, everytime i'd pull somethin, thats low enough for me to fight, i'd end up training the place, and when i got somethin almost dead, and it started runnin, sometimes i wouldn't kill it quick enough and alot of lizzies would come runnin out and train the place again and kill me again, i learned not to go back till i wuz a higher lvl, its ok for me now, i can get groups fine, but without a group, and at a lower lvl, its almost impossible. but i'm makin it fine now.
