Located within the highest icy peaks of the Serpent's Spine Mountains is the home of the Krithgor, a species of giants which, unlike other giants in Norrath, are intelligent -- some even masters of magic.

Long ago and much to the chagrin of the other gods, Rallos Zek's creations, the giants, orcs, ogres, and goblins, invaded the Plane of Earth. Among the giants who did not partake in the war was Beltron, the Krithgor king, who died shortly after the war ended. The most noble of giants marched into Frostcrypt, the giant burial grounds, to lay their king to rest.

Rallos Zek, acting on what he saw as a betrayal, laid a curse upon the giants in Frostcrypt. He resurrected Beltron, and through him, went on to slay every living giant within Frostcrypt. These giants became the Shades of Zek, and their mission now is to end their creator's curse. They believe that in order to do so, every living Krithgor giant must be killed. To this day, the curse lives on, and so does the hunt.

Immune to Pally Stun?

It was already asked once in another portion but never answered that I could see. Do the unnamed Mobs here Summon? I like to root and rot most zones and was wondering if I could do it here without being summoned and killed.

respawn time for trash here is 26 minutes

as far as travelling through the zone goes, use undead invis. only Icecrack sees through that. At the maze entrance though, the golems do see both types of invis, and so do the giants in the maze now it would appear.

ANYTHING in this zone mezzable? I'm thinking NOT, giants and all, but wondering if anyone has ever landed a mez here. Otherwise means pretty much need two tanks in a group to get anywhere since adds are inevitable.

Was trying a suicide run through the maze to get a loc flag for a quest. (The mobs get even more confused in the maze than we do, heh.) So I manage to get to the door into the prison area a little ahead of the train..but the door wont open.

Is there some key needed for this door, is it locked? Or did I in my short lived mad clicking just not manage to hit it properly?.

Killed Iceflow - An Oblivious changed into A restrained icemass (lvl 79 Warrior) locked in center of maze and the 4 corner royals spawned.. Step one to this event ?

After the patch of this week it looks like many more mobs in this zone can see thru invis. At least every single mob near zone-in now can.

Shroud rogue sos still works tho...

Was exploring FC today and well found a red con to 75 mob that saw thru invis verus undead. It didnt have a Name when you target it. When the group i in killed the mob it dropEnameled Froststeel Stud. The Location of the Named was 960, 536, -147

Seems like every type of mob in this zone is CAPABLE of seeing thru invis although the vast majority do NOT. But just enough DO to make it a ***** to move a group around without clearing. Seems to have nothing to do with level of the mob, either. They can all just uncommonly spawn with the ability to see thru invis. As far as I've seen though, nothing sees through rogue SoS until you get to the maze.

Except the skeleton mob is named The Fleshless, the rest are correct.

This particular event starts with having to kill the 4 corner mobs until 1 drops the key to unlock Grenrik the Addled.

Grenrik the Addled - Starts off as a player model (Barb, Iksar, dwarf, etc.) then after you give him the key he spawns into a giant. Drops 1 loot upon death.

Sent in some screenshots of Grenrik the Addled and The Fleshless, cause he was the mob I tanked. He is one of a few different mobs in that Maze event, each has different tricks, sorta fun but 1 loot sucks.

One of the spirits gave a quest called, "Return Firgant's Copper Ring to the Wraithguards".
Ring dropped from random creatures around Lorekeeper Thoren Goldentongue.
Turned in ring to Wraithguard Thentil Strongarm in Valdeholm with dubius faction.

Result was exp and this:

Most of the dropped Gear got Beefed up somewhat, may wish to Bounce it against Lucy (as most of teh lucy links i have seen are correct), its on about par with Higher Txevu and some Tacvi mobs as far as hp/resists go

Still hardly any effects, and have yet to see anything with a Mod2 yet ><

a restrained icemass - we didn't kill it, i won't spoil it for everyone.

Both were in all lowercase letters, red cons to a 75.

This zone is the most unforgiving ive seen yet for xp. 74 monk pulling with my regular xp group and i got whacked for 2-3k a hit at least once per pull. Im not uber or anything(14k buffed) but man those things hurt. Dunno if aggro changes made pulling weird or zone pathing is bugged but i noticed anytime i tagged and ran around a corner i lost aggro, without fail. I started to use that to my advantage until we wiped. A chanter/bard that could mezz here would have made all the difference in the world as rooting adds is hard with little space to work with in most spots that i saw. Cant wait to go back :) Good luck here
