The Guild Lobby is non-combative and entirely safe. Buff timers don't tick down here and given that this is the zone where players tend to gather en masse, it's a good spot to pick up some mass-group buffs, find people LFG, and so forth.

If you're looking for a guild (or your guild is looking for players), check out the message boards on either side of the zone. (/lfguild) If you need a corpse summoned, see the corpse summoning NPCs to the east or west. If you want a quick port to a Wayfarer camp, speak with the Magus in the north. If you want to head into the neighborhood zone, find the Sunrise Hills gated entrance in the northwest.

He gives you one Chorobine for selling them to him and then it costs 1 to purchase them back, so essentially it costs you nothing and frees up bank space from the dozens of quest items like the timeshards, etc.

They changed the name to Tavid Dennant and instead of Doubloons he uses Chorobines.

Today in Guild Lobby, I hear following spams,

Foreman Zlixtil says, 'I have heard great tales of the adventures from above who have come to search for lost riches, power ... And now here you are. If only you fools understood the power, the strength, behind which drives the life force of our kind.'

Where is he in Guild Lobby? I could not find him.
I hear his spam everywhere in Guild lobby.

New Quest? NPC
# Sep 14 2005 at 5:35 PM Rating: Decent
Sage Vonglor is located by the door to PoK, he mentions a teleportation device, you say "what teleportation Magic?" and he says something about testing a device that sends you to PoK, that your gonna be the test subject and to tell his brother in PoK that it worked when you get there. you say "I will be a test subject" and you get ported out to Pok on the other side of the door. there you see Sage Valgond sitting on a nearby rock. He has the EXACT same script and when you try to tell him about the device working... I have gotten no response. THe only thing that works is that he will teleport you back to the guild lobby with the same script as the other guy. Anyone know whats up with him?

Lol i just saw the other post

anyway in response to that,
It cant be another magus type npc. Why would you need a magus to get through the door right in front of you? Besides he doesnt offer to port you anywhere else that i can see. there has to be more to it

I tried a whole bunch of different things to say to both of the Sage NPCs but didn't get anywhere. I'd say that the quest is not working yet.

There's no quest. This just lets you get through when AFK ogre players block traffic on the zoneline.

The jester of Bristlebane is the 3rd veterans' reward and not bound to this zone.
Quote:
Chaotic Jester: Summons a Bristlebane puppet that persists for 15 minutes. Usable once every 24 hours, Bristlebane will randomly cast various spells that provide benefits or minor penalties.

Magus Alaria

Located in between the two doors to the guild hall in the north of the guild lobby.

You say, 'Hail, Magus Alaria'
Magus Alaria says 'Greetings Saraban. As you may have guessed I have been sent here by the Wayfarers Brotherhood to assist those that dare subject themselves to out magic. I promise you I have trained long and hard to be up to the task. I only rarely make the type of mistakes you may have heard about regarding these spells of travel. Come, let me know where you would like to go and I'll send you on your way. I can send you to any of the Wayfarer camps in [Butcherblock], [East Commonlands], [Everfrost], [North Ro], [South Ro], or [Nedaria's Landing].'

I'm confused by Buffeer's comment below. (Yes, the reply links are all broken.) Are you saying it's BS to be denied something you haven't paid for?

Historically, the new content, features and areas were, (at least initially) limited to people who paid to make them happen. I can think of 2 cases where content has eventually become available to everyone after being released with an expansion, and possibly one more.
1. Everyone now has access to the full-screen interface which most of us paid for with Velious.
2. PoK is open to those without the PoP expansion.
3. Now that you don't have to go to Luclin to access the bazaar, SoLless folks may be able to visit the bazaar to shop.

Just so you're clear, new features have always been limited to those who buy the expansions. I paid good money for OoW, which has a huge amount of zones I've never even seen, just so I could choose a title. I suffered without leadership experience for a long time before I bought LDoN. This is one reason people pay for expansions.

With the purchase of DoN, you get access to a bunch of new zones, including the Guild Lobby and Guild Hall and all the features of those zones, including altars, the attunable portal, guild recruiting boards and the guild bank. Even without buying DoN, you get access to the new mail features and the Barter zone. As far as I know, this is actually the first time you're getting parts of an expansion for free at the same time as those who paid for it.

I paid for the DoN expansion, but you're getting to use it...

Ya know, now that I've thought it over, this is BS, moocher.

I paid for it for 2 accounts, but whats BS is in beta it was stated that you would be able to access the guild lobby not hall. Whats the real point in blocking somebody from lobby? Just like /barter they can make it so people without can't SC. Lots of people wont buy the expansion for awhile and I am sure would like to use the LFGuild feature.
Corpse pops

Your corpse is sent to Shadowrest 20 minutes atfer they are all summoned. Which means no rez at all. DEFINATELY have a rezzer ready for rezzing immediately.

Rez?

Anyone know yet if a corpse can be rezzed after it's been summoned to you? And/or how long your corpse stays there, and what happens to your corpse if you don't loot it in time? Does it just return to where it was?
RE: Rez?

According to the brodcast message in-game yesturday, the answer is yes and twenty minutes. The brodcast message was recommending you have a cleric standing by.
