You would have a hard time much past the second level. The third level was a bit tough for a group of 3 mid to upper 20s.

#Anonymous, Posted: Oct 20 2001 at 5:11 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Those crap goblins look like an ogre wiped his *** with them. When they fall over it's funny the whole room smells like butt. For days I've been on the quest to find what enemy drops The Babs and who high he is, I've heard those friggin wood elves say that the Babs dropps in RunnyEye, but sometimes Wood Elves can be pricks. And I once had a guy with all Scarab Armor, and an awesome twink sword. His name was Divlek, I gave consent to a Wood Elf I was in a group with, when we were in battle I accidentally hit him since he was standing in front of the Orc Centurion. He got mad but kept quiet, I gave him consent to drag my corpse when I didn't know he was mad and he ran in and I think dumped it in a river. About 10 min. later I got mad and yelled at him and he just laughed, he quit the group. That whole day I spent looking for it, but by the time I tracked down most ofCrushbone my body dissapeard. That's why i'll always hate Wood Elves...

ok first its called faction not faction, what ive found helps is going into canyon of king xorbb and killing evil eye each time he pops, this raises faction with runny eye (losing faction with xorbb doesnt matter) you can also kill muddites and minitaurs. when your faction is high enough you can just walk up to whatever you want in runnyeye, nuke it a few times with no aggro's and loot, unfortuanly you have to kill alot of guys to get your faction good with these guys.
and one more thing, there is a rare pop in runny eye called the foreseer, i was fighting battlelord and all the sudden he attacks and kicks me for 130, beware of this one.

ok think about what you just said... < your first sentence >

this is what you said..
" ok first its called faction not faction....and so on"

ok you wrote the same thing!! so how is it faction and not faction???
#Anonymous, Posted: Oct 18 2001 at 3:13 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Ok, first, it's "it's called faction not fraction" not "its called faction not faction".

This is a great dungeon for levels 18+ groups. There isn't much on the first floor but just down the stairs of the 2nd floor there is an excellent spot to pull defenders and gatherers from the room beyond, with ample running space if necessary.

In addition, the experience bonus makes leveling fast. Money was okay and we got 2 rare-ish drops while there.
mob lvls

Was in here hoping for some interesting drops. Notes on mobs lvls:
I'm 31 ranger
Moldmaster conned blue
Battlewizard Unak conned blue
Sporalie Defenders sometimes con low blue
I get the feeling that the lvl ranges for these mobs are much larger than previously reported.

There are also Goblin Neophytes in here. Some type of wizard I would guess. Hit my lvl 13 Gnome mage for 2 full bubs of health with the nukes. Conned even. Just an FYI, we were fighting door trash and these guys showed up in a pair.

No, medium quality ore is merchant bought, not dropped. However the sporali are supposed to drop HQ ore. I know the Pickclaws in High Keep do as well.

I hate to do say this, but at 40, shouldn't you be hunting elsewhere?

Nonchalantly nuking the moldmaster in runnyeye at 40 is like me camping the green room in Blackburrow at 25. Sure it's good for a laugh once in a while, and it's nice to get back at the sabertooth clan for past trains, but it's really not worth the time just to get the drops is it?

Be warned - there's some kinda goblin called a mindbender or something like that - it's an enchanter and even as a blue was able to easily charm my troll SK at 19th. He then sent me to the halfling enterance to deal with two groups of halflings - poor SOBs didn't stand a chance.

armor
# Oct 03 2001 at 8:13 PM Rating: Good
I picked up a blackened iron waistband, and they say it comes from here. Well my question is the armor says magic item yet i've seen no atribute changes. Where's the magic?
RE: armor
# Oct 05 2001 at 12:01 PM Rating: Good
Ok, Im afraid the term magic in the description is a little more focused than attributes, Like how some things can only be hit by magical weapons? a monk cannot hit a willowisp with just his hands, HOWEVER if he were to wear magical gloves or put a magical item in his had, (ie a lightstone) he could then punch the magical mob. same with hands slot, wearing magical gloves can hit a magical mob. along with needing magical boots if you are trying to kick a magical only creature.
RE: armor
# Oct 17 2001 at 1:26 PM Rating: Excellent
You've got the basic gist of it right, but if you have a magic item that doesn't do damage (eg lightstone, GLS, stein of moggok, etc.,) you just won't attack
RE: armor
# Oct 09 2001 at 12:54 AM Rating: Good
Er, so if you wear a magic waistband you can attack a willowisp with your belly? hehe

RE: armor
# Dec 19 2001 at 1:35 PM Rating: Good
The reason it is magic is because it is all/all. Meaning whether your a small, medium, or large armor class wearer you can wear this armor. Nothing more, nothing less.
RE: armor
# Dec 28 2001 at 6:31 AM Rating: Default
Wrong Magic item is what makes you hit certain creatures that are INVULNERABLE to hits if it is NOT MAGIC. If you have a magic sword and no magic boots, You can not kick certain creatures. If you are ever in hallowshade moor, try it out on the grimlings there, You have to have magic item in that slot in order to Hit them. Otherwise you will never hit them because they are invulnerable. THIS IS FIRST HAND EXP.!

The Item is magic both because of the ALL/ALL and Due to it's weight.
It is lighter than chainmail of the same AC/Slot.

Both pickclaw destroyers and pickclaw veterens drop BA armor and BA wpns. Both were blue to me at 26. But watch out for trains. A 54 war friend of mine did get nailed here by a very LARGE train. Just be carefull.

Moldmaster is fairly easy for me but I guess because I am lvl 39 Druid. He does have fairly high
MR so you casters might get resisted a lot so be careful. Just make sure if you bring a group to bring one or two Cleris. You also might need someone with some good DoTs to keep his Regen down. But otherwise than that he a pretty simple kill

Pieces of ore

I am looking for high quality pieces of ore. I have been told they drop in Runneyeye? Can anyone confirm this, and if so, Who does it drop from?

The goblin janitor drop the stackable "pieces of HQ ore" needed for the vale sewing kit. The other goblins on occasion will drop a bick of HQ ore. I have been hunting in RE for a long time and finally seen the janitor drop these pieces.

I like to med in the first hallway before you enter the bar and the janitor seems to be the only one who walks past this hallway as part of his rounds. Wait here if you want to get the ore. He will eventually walk by.

Kill him if you are looking for the pieces of HQ ore. He doesn't drop them often.

Supermarket Sweep!
# Aug 17 2001 at 1:31 AM Rating: Good
This place has become a haven since the 5/01 patch. Ive been hunting here since level 9, and im 31 now, and its always given great exp (20% exp dungeon bonus) and nice loot. Black Alloy sells like hotcakes in Oasis or WC. ive finally gotten to the point where i can solo pretty much any goblin on the bottom level, albeit the nameds do cause an occasional problem when they pop near a few of their cohorts. The Battlemaster is pretty easy, i can handle him alone...but prefer company in case of those unexpected trains or adds. The Battlewizard can be very tuff if you have a low resist for fire or magic, he still nukes me for 30's, 80's and the occasional 240. Normally i wouldnt attempt soloing him (i probably shouldnt be soloing anything according to many of you, since im a warrior). Lord Picklaw is still yellow to me, and i wouldnt dream of picking a fight with him yet (hes about 31-32) and he has a MAD regen rate. but he does have the best drops like the BA medallion, coif, and those other oh-so-rare black alloy peices. The Sporalis are a whole 'nother subject. the MoldMaster is a DRUID so he WILL root you, DoT you, snare you, heal himself, damage sheild himself, SOW himself, wolf-form himself--wait no, not that last one, my mistake. but his regeneration rate is far far worse than that of the LP. he hits for 40-60s to me, and has semi-okay drops. so far ive looted the Sporali Sheild (crappy in my opinion), Sporali Defenders Blade (good for SKs or pallys) and something called a Bag of Bread Loaves. i have NO IDEA what that bag is for, found no info on this site or everlore, (if you know anything about it, plz email me). The only thing i havent gotten from him is the Sporali Golves, 1ac(i think) and 13% haste (from what im told....dont flame me if im wrong!!). Overall, this zone has lots of things to loot, which is my sole reason for hunting here. the Black Alloy/Armor can possibly drop off ANY GOBLIN, but on the top two floors, it is extremely rare, so just wait till you can take the tuff stuff. Another plus is that runnyeye has a bank, which can be used even if you are KOS. I call this zone a supermarket because hunting here is like shopping for whatever i please. Woot! IBE forever!

caancel magic?
# Aug 12 2001 at 5:32 AM Rating: Decent
As a lvl 30 Ranger I tried the moldmaster yesterday, his health did not go down. I escaped at half life or something with a DOT and zoned to find myself with very low hp. Has anyone tried cancel magic on him to remove the regen. I might try but I am getting quite a lot of adds now with a bad faction.
RE: caancel magic?
# Sep 04 2001 at 8:31 AM Rating: Decent
While my guild was raiding Runnyeye, our group of four (two warriors, druid, mage) happened upon the Moldmaster. Pull strategy was to pull with Cancel Magic then melee.

Worked like a charm. The Cancel threw down his regen and we took him out in 30 seconds. We looted the Sporestrand Sheild, but had to beat feet out of there due to the 20 or so additions we got through the battle.

Level 3 of Runnyeye is very dangerous because the sporelings and sporali seem to add from everywhere.
