Access to Qvic is granted in the later stages of Gates of Discord progression (note that being Level 62+ grants you access without having progression).

Two mountain passes full of kyv hunters and mastruq bonereaders merge in to what was once the majestic site of the nihilite prayer grounds. Muramites have taken over the area, as it is now crawling with kyvs, ukuns, aneuks, and others. Most noteable are the M`Shas, who are a popular hunt for their Muramite Armor, and Cynosure Kvanjji, who opens the passageway to Inktu'ta, the Unmasked Chapel.

A twisting network of caves leading to the chapel of Inktu`ta (home to the Trusik Tribe) lies in the western mountains while the temple of Txevu sits in the north.


Level 62 is required to enter the zone.

All mobs in this zone are soloable! I've confirmed this by taking them all down on a 85 / 1900 ranger multiple times. I am still waiting for zoo to drop that damn sword though. Just a fair warning if you do wish to solo this zoo / cyno... Be prepared to spend a good 40 minutes to an hour at the computer for each mob cause their hp levels are disgusting.

did all named in zone with two 20k zerkers 8k cleric 18k warrior 17k rogue zoo was toughest due to weak cleric

Tumlina in Riwwi is the trigger, with warmly faction she gave me this quest,
after talkin with her she will give you her staue and send you to find Dramudi.Harvester Dramudi is in barindu,give him the statue and follow the text,he explains that overseer Oltix has the riftseeker belt and gives you a equippable bane weapon "sharpened stone blade" to plunge into his back.The overseer is in the same zone, i have not completed this step any further yet, going to get a group and try later.

Good news.
I have found the second of four pieces required to access Qvic.
Its the Riftbreakers Left Bracer.
I wont give a full spoiler here, but you can PM me and I will send it to you.
However, I have to tell you where to start teh quest, because the NPC that starts the quest, has FACTION ISSUES. He dies allmost as soon as he spawns... but hes on a 20-30mins timer.
You just need to know where to look.
The NPC is located in Yxxta. Inside the Primal Caves. At the entrance to the room where "Stoic Guardian" and "Vrex High Priest" are located. You prolly wont find these NPC, because they have the same faction issues. If you have a map of Yxxta, the location of the Stoic Guardian will be on it.
As if it wasnt bad enough that the NPC that gives the quest dies as soon as he spawns, he doesnt even have a unique name. His name is:
"a malicious trusik"
he is trackable, but he will be killed after 0-5 minutes.
Stoic Guardian and Vrex High Priest are no longer KOS.
Now to the faction issue:
"a malicious trusik" as well as "Stoic Guardian" as well as "Vrex High Priest" as well as "Caridwi" are now being attacked by Xounii Shape**SMURF**er ( in her respective from ). Xounii is a untrackable npc, who takes the form of the various animals in the cave. She is a raid encounter, hits very hard and procs a mezz. Stoic Guardian, Vrex High Priest and a malicious trusik will all attack her together, but only get her to 86%.
Im NOT saying that you have to kill her.

"a malicious trusik" gives you 9(!!!)-slot container bag. Never seen a bag with an uneven number of slots before. He asks you to collect 3 Cragbeast biles, 3 CaveSpider Venoms and 3 thingies from the bugs.
Combine and give result back to "a malicios trusik" ( you will have to wait for him to spawn again ).
He will give you a poison and tells you to take it to "the statue pouring water into the basin" in yxxta.
Go to the city area, clear the center where the statue is. Go close to the Statue and you get a message telling you that you have succesfully poisoned the Muramites water source.
"Pixxt Quyes" spawns and attacks. 1-groupable I believe tho we had many more.

You get no further clue where to continue your quest for the last 2 pieces. Even tho the "a malicious trusik"
says that by this quest you have to "prove" yourself, he does not say anything new after you complete the quest. He will give you the same quest again, as well as the same container.
Now I did give a spoiler. Sorry, but now others can do this quest and maybe find a way to continue.
Various things:
-Please fix the faction issue !
-Stoic Guardian and Vrex High PRiest and Caridwi give no quest.
-Pixxt Nemis in Kodtaz probably drops/gives another item, but she cannot be attacked and asks you if "she" sent you.
Please post if you find out more.

the third known piece is the riftseekers binding, a raid drop from qvic.
not sure on the 4th piece of armor yet, but suspect its something to do with Pixxt Nemis in kodtaz.

No way - you'll need at least 4-5 groups I guess (may be less with lvl 70 and OoW gear, but still...)

PS : Cynosure got a nice assortment of AEs, while Iqthinxa Karnkvi spawns three lvl 70 adds. Probably not as hard as back then, but still a challenge and nothing for just 6 poeple...

seems i cannot post a reply so..

the Qvic drop that i got no sorry i dont recall but i know the Zoo event dropped it cuz that one rotted the next day.

the Tac drop was off one of the Zun's i really dont recall which one

sorry this was my first time in these zones and i really was more worried about paying attention to the fights then the mobs :).

anyone have a clue where the new keys/flags for Qvic start? on the new patch we can now be raided into GoD zones and items drop on raid mobs for this quest but cannot find any ifno about where the quest starts or what its even about. i have the Qvic and Tacvi drop (well what we think is the right drops), just need to know where to start the quest so i can get my flag/key

May have been bad luck, we finally got QVIC entry tuesday night. Those who did hail/handin/zone on tuesday night got in fine, those who tried to complete the flagging quest after the patch couldnt enter qvic. So flagging is broken atm, that maybe caused by same bug as not being able to 85% people in

Anyone able to push to qvic ? we tryed to push 4 ppl to qvic right after last patch . we had 32 in raid that is qvic flagged and was not able to get any pushes in from either Natimbi or KT side. i logged maby an hour after we gave up and anyone know if they fixed this with an emergency patch or something ?

Stone of Portal Calling and Broken Shard of Chaos can drop from any mob in the zone. They are pretty rare, rare enough that we've cleared from zone in to Msha's, clearing around Msha's, cleared to Inktu'ta zone in, and have not seen a single one raid after raid. But I've seen both drop from trash mobs a few times now, they are just extremely rare.

Well the thing is, the end of GoD isn't going to come untill someone beats OoW. Basically, SOE wanted to say that half of this expansion could be done with 65, and half needed level 70, so they released the first part of the continant now, and once it's completed, OoW will pick up where it left off, now with level 70. Unfortunatly this is going to major nerf PoP and GoD...

As far as a final boss goes, prolly gonna be a dragon. Seeing as the final boss is the king muramite, I'd asume it'll be a very nicely drawn muramite. After seeing quarm, I wouldn't put it past sony to make a really neat looking end-game boss, and then a cheesed out end game lore =P

yeah, the boss of Omens is supposed to be a dragon (possibly one from current lore with a new name?). As far as the boss of God...well, since it's not Mata Muram, who knows? prolly a Trusik or some kind of Muramite (wouldn't put it past them to make it just a giant Ixt or Trusik)

A lot of people think the dragon is Kerafyrm (aka the Sleeper) as he's supposed to make a return that destroys Luclin and much of Norrath to set the stage for EQ2.

Just to clear up the sleeper issue for sure, they have released lore already for EQ2 that the Gods themselves are responsible for the destruction of the moon and norrath.

They've said that the sleeper exists though in EQ2.

Go read EQ2 lore, it's an alternate reality. As in, a world where things happened a different way than what they are going to do. (Hence not ruining their future plots and getting rid of any inconsistancies around. You know, like Sir Lucan being the leader of Freeport?... heh)

The Kerafyrm idea comes up everytime a new expansion is released :P

The OoW boss is supposed to be Mata Muram and it is rumored by his legions that he looks somewhat like a dragon. He is the manifestation of Destruction and Discord and supposed to be the nemesis of the Nameless who embodies Creation and Order.

Anybody notice yet that even though Mata Muram is supposidly the "boss mob" of OoW that he's no were to be found...As for the sleeper if he ever comes back he'll be more invincable then before. According the lore in EQ atlas: Kerafyrm awaits and replenishes his power in an unknown location...Ok so the last time the sleeper was defeated it took 3 guild something like 300 people (not sure of the actual number) a little more then 3 hours to kill the Sleeper only to find that he had no loot table and didn't even give faction if I remember right. Now this guy had just woken up and if he wasn't at full power, it's going to take more then 3 guilds this time. The Sleeper was removed form the game after PoP came out because the developer's realised that with the new stuff in time that it might be possible to actually kill this invincable mob the created, (whitch of course we now know to be true). So if they ever actually bring the sleeper back your going to see Kerafyrm at full power, no sleep in his eye's form just waking up, this guy will be a mer shadow of what he was when he came out in SoV, Sony will make sure that when the create him a second time that he will either be Impossible to kill or, there will be a large quest involved to find some sort of "sleeper's Bane Weopen that will either kill him or put him back to sleep, it will more then likely put him back to sleep I would think, I can't think why Sony would create an invincable mob and then give you a way to kill him. Puting him back to sleep and taking his loot seems like a better idea to me anyway. I personally was actually very dissapointed to see the Sleeper killed, but all well.

the sleeper was awakened on all servers by pcs if i'm not mistaken (i could be wrong though). the server that dropped him was Rallos zek, and yeah it took like 300 people 3 hours... however they knew to begin with that he had 0 loot table and 0 faction hits. the sleeper was originally intended to be solely a lore mob... something to enhance the storyline (and to bring some closure to end game velious). anyways, i doubt they'll return the sleeper as anything too different from what he originally was... maybe tweak him out a little bit. i'm sure they'll probably make him a boss mob in one of the future expansions just to shut people up about this debate =).

Wow, ...so , this is about the third or fourth zone i have curiously looked up the beastiary , and found nothing. These zones must just be craziee tuff, as GoD has been around for a lil bit now. I can't imagine myself, a paladin, ever seeing these places, but i do like to see what the big guys are doing out there. I hope to start seeing some accomlishments posted up here. I know there are quite a few out there workin hard on it. And to think someone is saying that no one has been in this zone for more than 5 seconds? Is that due to Mobs? Lag? Zone bug ? I cant imagine Time geared folks are getting run out within 5 seconds:P So i assume it is a bug issue mebbe? All i know is i hope Omens adds a lil more balanced content to the expansion then GoD has.

It wasn't a bug, you can zone into the zone without the 'flag', but if you do, it automatically zones you back to KT (you get some text about bouncing off an invisible force or something) in about 5 seconds (I went in there once to see if I could zone in and of course got ported out :) ). The reason it took so long for stuff to show up here is that Uqua originally blocked guilds from getting here (incredibly difficult mobs that were wiping the best of the best very quickly...it has since been made a little easier and the top tier guilds have progressed through it).

*edit* oh, and as far as Omens adding 'balanced' content...judging by the lore SoE has posted on their site, Omens is going to be even harder and higher level than GoD, so prolly won't be much content lower than the extreme-high end. (Omens opens the way to the lands of Discord where these muramites come from, so I can't imagine it being easier than GoD zones).
