Got released with Lost Dungeons of Norrath but moved to Gates of Discord on progression servers.

The Wayfarers are well-established here in Nedaria's Landing, providing a connection between the continents of Antonica and Taelosia. Their camps can be found along the shores and docks in the northwest.

The area is otherwise fairly quiet, save for the plentiful local wildlife (panthers, griffons, bears, anacondas, and wolves), which inhabit the largely undisturbed forest. Just be mindful while walking along the cliffside as it's a large drop to the ground below.

A visually beautiful zone! I especially like the waterfalls and the schools of fish. I think this will turn out to be a popular wedding zone :-) Very good visability even in the forest. The higher level mobs (panthers, griffawns)tend to be on the south side of the zone. To reach the sea you must go down the cliff, either by bouncing down the cliff face or taking the safe path on the north end of the cliff ( on the far [north] side of the river ). I explored the rivers and the three waterfalls and found nothing in or behind them.
To my 39 Warrior everything was green except for Sleek Panthers and Serene Griffawns.
To my 29 Bard Ancient Anacondas were green & light blue; silverfur wolves ran green to dark blue; Sleek Panthers and Serene Griffawns both were White to Red. Everything else was Dark Blue. I ran my bard around the zone for nearly an hour invis, making a map and conning mobs ( I con 10 mobs of each type to try and get a decent sample) so I think the levels of the Panthers and Griffawns listed above are a couple levels low. I did not see the Magnificent Grizzly, just a bunch of majestic ones :-). I can confirm the Thunder Salmon fish and the special forage item is called Jaggedpine Sap and looks like the Heady Kiola bottle.

In addition to Morden Appearing here, Nedaria has appeared with Calliav in East commonlands, on the wall, Callaiv seem's to have undergone a vision of even more overwhemling potency, and has collapsed into a coma, muttering about a great war. Where Nedaria is there comforting him

Prelude to another expansion, or an extension on the new zones added to Legends ldon? I think so!

Frogs drop "Cove frog Skin" non tradeskill, non lore/tradable
Turtles drop "Sea Turtle Skin" non tradeskill, non lore/tradable
Basalisks drop "Basalisk hide" no-drop, lore, magic, non tradable, Neither Morden or his inky pal would accept it

I believe the Basalisk Hides are a quest piece for one of the NPCs. I seen to remember seeing someone ask for them.

There is also a quest for 4 Silverfur pelts.

Animal mobs:
a cavern grizzly (PoStorms bear model)
a cove frog (small PoStorms frog model)
a magnificent grizzly (Named bear? I couldn't find any others on track and it was slightly larger than the other bears.)
a majestic grizzly (PoStorms bear model)
a sea turtle
a serene griffawn
a shore basilisk
a silverfur wolf
a sleek panther
an ancient anaconda (small version of the JPF mob)

All green to a 65, however "Tunare's Request" worked on ALL the mobs which indicates that their levels are below 35. The griffawns were the only mobs that were KoS to everyone plus they are social. The bears and wolves con'd differently according to classes. No faction hits reported from killing a bear or griffawns. Bears and panthers drop pelts. Griffawns drop Griffon Meat and Griffawn Beak (NO DROP) however they drop no coin as opposed to their JPF cousins.

Non-animal mobs:
Morden Rasp (Barbarian)
Tondal Di'Xevar (Dark Elf)

Both are level 65 Wayfarers. When hailed, the Dark Elf hints at a future quest involving building a boat. The Barbarian hints at a possible new zone.

On a side note, foraging will yield the same items that can be foraged in JPF. Wolf-form and other illusions change some of the con of the animals. Griffawns con indifferently, panthers are amiable, frogs scowl, and bears glower dubiously. However, it is possible these cons might be different to a non-druid/ranger (i.e. bears could con threatening if you are in wolf-form and you aren't a druid/ranger).

Overall, an 'eye candy' zone. The beachfront really is beautiful with the waves and schools of fish that swim by. Very nice zone to fish in. Thunder Salmon is the special catch.

You're right about a magnificent grizzly. I found none there, but majestics were everywhere.

Killed several basilisks, bears, griffawns and panthers, but found no loot except Low-Quality Cat Skin. =)

Tried to see if I'd find anything if I walked on the sea with levitate. Just came to zone wall and saw turtles and froggies near shoreline.

Excellent post, not many people bother to fish in each zone they go to. I was surprised to see it. I'm a wood elf druid and I con threat to griff types, dubious to cat types, amiable to bear and wolf types here and in JPF. In wolf form indiff to cat and griff, warmly to bear and wolf. Here and in Hollowshade Moors indiff to turtles, KoS in wolf form, guess turtles won't like wolves. Most mobs are green to me at 47 with a couple of LB. Turtles drop Sea Turtle (Helm?) all/all, not equipable. Anacondas drop Anaconda eye, stackable.

Oops forgot to mention I'm on FV and one of the anacondas I killed gave me the trivial loot message. (not sure how to edit messages or I would have edited the above)
