If you looking for key mob in Befallen, got to find these guys.
1st - Squire (and something, sorry forgot the name)
Hes replaced old DE SK in 1st floor. No idea hes SK or not, all I saw is dead corpse.
2nd - Aeska (and something..)
She pops near cavedin stair (round room in 2nd floor), looks like she have PH (usualy Reanimated Servant, mage) so its not hard to see her.. hopefuly, also she is SK, can HT for 211.
3rd - Korven (and something... =P )
He pops where Ogre was poped. Looks like Half elf male servant. Not a SK, so not much problems to kill him.
Except Aeska, all of holders will pops like 2 or 3 hours.. yep, very long time spawn. So if you dont have lots of time, ask someone to pick lock, or get Druid or Wizzy who can port out.

| Befallen was once the site of a wonderful temple, a reclusive home for the monks who maintained it.
Many blame the dark elves for what it has become, but whatever the cause, Befallen is now a home to the undead its inhabitants used to hunt and destroy. Individuals who thrive on these beings have also taken up residence in its halls, necromancers and shadow knights. Various keys are (were) obtained and required to move to the lower levels of this zone. |

I spend a reasonable amount of time in Befallen even though i am a 50 sk, getting new reaper's of the dead. This used to be a peaceful zone for me...nothing really aggroed me (maybe a couple of mobs). Now, however, they have all these new mobs like the reanimated dead, dark followers, dark servants, etc. Every one of these pests is aggro, even to me. Does anyone know if there is there a purpose for all these new mobs?

Great place to hunt as soon as the lvl 50 crowd goes. I went with my lvl 13 Enchanter to get some exp, cash, and maybe some nice clothes, and I never got one kill. The minute I tried to kill one we got jumped by those who felt I needed help, and I didn't ask for it. Not only did I have a fit, but they told me that I should leave because I wasn't of the right level for the place. Oh paleeze!

this is the best zone IMHO for making money for mid 20s i made 20opp in 6 hours and gained 8yellow bubbs of exp on a guild raid tonight. great new drops got a 2str or sta forget now 3dex 3agi 8dmg 30delay dagger thats pretty good for a lvl 20ish drop i love this zone now and hoep to spend 2 more lvls in it.

Just some friendly advice, cash-making-wise. Visit Unrest with a good group and you'll realize 20pp in six hours is horse crap.

it was meant to say 200pp sorry for my typos an di rest assured that for 6 hours 20pp is crap anywhere. And just for people to know that is just from teh looting of corpses much less the many jewels that they drop i got a full stack of jade, malachite which only sells for silver but it adds up hehe, amber, and bloodstones, plust the dagger which i sold for 150pp which i think is a lil too much but thats what they payed. Also for everyone to know do not let a guardian of tvyl get behind you i got backstabbed for 170 by one which lead to my only death of the night if your dying dont run it will just make it quicker when they backstab you. And thanks for noticing teh typo i typed a o instead of a 0.

Killed last night on inny, took 3hrs of 6 40+s beating on her to kill her. Dropped the gossimer robe, "a guardian's dagger" 8 30 piercing. also dropped an antiqued silver ring, 2ac, woot. Very poor reward for the effort.
I had heard she's a Quest NPC and you're actually supposed to try to free her, not kill her. Is this true?

on allakhazam there is a new blade that drops off a half elven servant of t'vyl what lvl is the servant, i know the sword drops on the third floor and i am a lvl 10 rogue but my guild is more than willing to go on a befallen raid

Same old spawn patterns for quest mob in Befallen.
So nothing to worry about. As well as Loryyd (or whatever) Elf skel and Cmdr Windstream, also PH for Gynoks (same old rats and skely). Priest Amira will spawn also (for monk quest).

We were in Befallen yesterday and sure enough, Old Gynok spawned. So he's alive (more or less) and well in Befallen!

All I know is that the place holder can be almost anything. And it spawns right at the entrance every 15 mins. Now if you mean does it still spawn since they did the patch an revamped the zone? I don't know. I haven't had the patients to sit there and see, especially since you can hardly get in the zone now without being knocked over by all the people there to check out the new mobs.

i killed gynok twice yesterday and the first time he dropped a platinum ring i guess for paw quest i sold it to somone for 200pp and the second time he dropped a gold ring a cloth cape and a rusty dagger so yes he is still there and drops the ring needed for paw. i have no idea what the place holder is but the first time i killed him i was on second floor and he spawned on me second time was on the first floor at the very entrance he conned black both times and teh commander is on teh third floor and still drops a mallet stem that is a container had a chance to loot it about 7 times but never did its not worth it in my opinion.

I heard from a guild member that the "Word of Odus" which is for the level 49 necromancer spells dropped a few time while he was in Befallen the other night. If this is so I will pay well for them on the Mithanel Marr Server, as well as for the rest of the level 49 words including Grappling, Ethereal, Cryptic Force, Requisition and Acquisition (Beza). If you have any of these give me a tell on the Mithaniel Marr Server...

was down here trashing the 3rd floor for about 4-6 hours, and never saw her

NO she is not unkillable. She has a regen on. And a strong one at that. My guild went down with several lev 50+ and wiped the whole zone out. We sat there beating on her, as she resisted all spells. The hp's were going down....then back up again. We did not finish her off; we were too interested in seeing the rest of the changes.
We killed her last night on Luclin. 7-10 people, ranging from 30-55 just sat there attacking her for about an hour, I got the killing blow, she had 1 gold, 1 silver, 1 copper, and a gossimer robe.

i decided to visit befallen again , all was greenie .. i jumper in the weel and i saw a named DE ( can t remember is name) was 40% hp and green too . My pet attaked her without result and the lady didn t agro and fight the pet ... but his hp barre didn t decrease . I casted some shamy 51 spell but all resisted , i tryed to hit her with my spear i did domage but after 5 min the hp barre was the same .
Anyone know if that s a bug?

Heh, they are upgrading everywhere to add better drops... but they also get higher level. Well, this is great for me, and these changes to Runneye, Cazic, and Befallen make me now think that atleast SOME of my $10 a month is going somewhere...
Oh... yeah, it is probably because of the upcoming heat of competion from Anarchy Online, and Shadowbane to name a few...

Ok heres what happened this place used to be a nice lil newbie undead hang out but something happened.....well the daughter of Innoruk(please note i cant spell worth a crap)has decided to make Befallen her new home so she brought all her lil evil followers and minions with here hince the reason for all the new lvl 25 thru 40 creatures that just suddenly appeared there. Also something is supposed to happen to WC may just be rumors but the dark elfs may be moven in from near by Neriak, I guess their finally make their move on the good doers of Norrath..thats all i know so far

every mob in was green to 40 wiz, and we killed the unkillable mob. :p(true we had pretty much 2 full groups of 50+ melee classes, and a wizard dropping lures, the only thing that stuck.)

change is an understatement rebuild is more like it I have not seen any of the old greeenieweeenies in here at all last night I was swarmed by so many new guys a group of three couldnt handle them all we got killed twice nd zoned 3 times it was wierd there are all DEs now including necros mages, sks and a few ghoul-like critters named reanimated corpses. I got a no drop necklace called like "necklace of the ty'rim or something wierd like that. anyone know what the heck is goin on here cuz i like it except for the trainage and the spawning rates(about a minute) and everything is now red and yellow to me instead of green and a few blues

This zone rules now. On level one and the VERY begining of level 2 i made 40p in about 10 mins. All the mobs drop betweeen 5 gold and 1p, and have few hp, 300 or so. I was killing 5 at a time in a min or 2. Very good loot.

SIGH>> this sceptre of dark whatchyamacallit went *poof* while i was down there last night. No clerics around to claim it, how sad cause it is an excellent item. A cool rib cage shield dropped as well as some pristine leather armor with nice graphics ( the leggs 12ac 2dex 5sta ) a bit better than Ravenscale so i switched, what the hay. A few good weaps and a VERY nice veil for a chanter make these recent changes worthwhile. However, most of the items are no drop /cry.
But, BOY was this place popping tonight. Haven't seen over 30 people in befallen since...well...since Never heh.

I hope this was a gm event as i heard because befallen is now MUCH different then pre patch.There is however some excellent drops including a cleric only sceptre with +8 wis +3 all resists and +20 mana called sceptre of dark something.

Ok, they changed the heck out of this place last night... I wish I hadn't been camped there. Apparently, some dark elf necro of great power has taken the place over. All the mobs are different, and mostly green to me at 34, I haven't gotten all the way downstairs yet.
Still, I highly recommend checking it out!

I was in befallen today and found this guy. his name is lino jinglebelly and he is lying back in a corner close to the priest and thermaugist spawn point. He has no faction when you kill him and it says something about his corpse being swept away. I dont have enough faction with him to hail and talk to him, but a rouge i was there with did and he said something about [spitits] but would not respond to further inquires about them. any one know anything about this guy?

Does anyone know where the spawn point of the EQ methadone in any zone is? I have played this game 10 days straight since playing and I REALLY need sleep. Startin to look like a Necro pet and that just ain't right please help me!!!!!!!
