Splitpaw can be heavy camped on older servers by people displeased with the players on the other continents. On others splitpaw can be empty. It is a good zone as long as Verant doesnt make a gates of hell zone like befallen that only a lvl60 can get to the bottom without 50 agros on him popping though the walls. Loot is ok if you dont plan to wear. Sell it cheap or give away the bulk of it here in Splitpaw. Only problem I had was when I got charmed by mob then when I broke the charm and charmed him it said I already had a pet but that was not possible for a bard after 20 seconds later.

No,ry'gorr Armor drops in Eastern Waste off the ry'gorrs there. There basicly orcs on steriods. If your a solo class Druid or Necro it easy to hunt there at lvl 39. Not saying that other classes cant solo. Just these two classes do it very mana effective. Good luck!!!

It seems like all the posts are a year old. Does anyone come here anymore? I'd like to come here and hunt but it looks like with all the expansions I'd be the only one there and rogues need a group to hunt.

Yep. Been living in there with my SK from 27 to 31 and show no signs of slowing. (I CAN solo there, but it's a pain in the butt... and a group usually sprouts up around you if you hang around long enough)

Does anyone know *exactly* where the Tesch Val Deval'Nmak spawns? I'm after the kicsh der pavs and I just spent a few hours in one of the spots listed on the mapsite that is connected to Allakhazam's - but there are two listed on that, and then I've heard somebody else say something different. The spot I tried is the one nearish (relatively) to the dungeon entrance, but then there's one listed all the way in the back. Another person has given a vague "near the jail" description of his location. Does anyone know for sure? I would greatly appreciate it.

He is the hardest one to find, we spent a total of 30 plus hours in here off and on.. this is the only loot we didn't get, for he never spawned anywhere.

I know the place like the back of my hand. Camped there many times including soloing all the named. I like Paw, BUT it has a worse drop rate than the planes from the named dudes. I don;t know why Verant did this since most of the items are not even that good. Its unfortunate, but true. COnversely, the regular mobs drops include some handy Paw items and regularly FS wpns and pp. so it is a useful zone not to mention the dungeon exp modifier you get.

Kurrpok is killed as soon as he spawns by the Executioner and the Judge Gnolls.

Does anyone know who the hell Kurrpok Splitpaw is he was casting spells and i saw it in my chat box. I tried to track him and i could so i sat down to mem invis and tried to track agian and poof he was gone. If anyone has any info let me konw so i can sleep at night:)

Kurrpok is on eof the captives and former leaders of Split Paw Lair now taken over by the Torn Ear Clan. Kurrpok spawns in the big room with all the Judges and executioners. He drops the +1 heart or amulet that is used in the Jeweled skull quest. The reason you hear him but cannot find him (I saw this while watching invis) is because as soon as he spawns the Judges and Executioner immediately kill him. Thus, to get him you must be there at spawn time and pull asap with your own spell.

Ever thought of killing the judge and executioner before he spawns, seems like a safer method to getting your guy. Never done it, it just popped as the obvious choice when I read this.

u forgot the nisch val torash mashk that drops the devlas ilkvel and the tescg val sinisch and the tesch val deval'nmak that drops the vacra av svim.

since he wasn't listed on this list, he's about 37. His rare drop is the tesch val sinisch (shaman spear). Didn't get it to drop the one time I killed him, and he was red to me at 35th, but went down to a full group of 35 moderately easily after we cleared out the other spawns.
Anyone know what level this procs?
I am 11th on TZ right so I suspect its at 12th, but wanted to know if anyone else had better specifics.

Tesch Val Sinich= damage 9 delay 33 maybe 31 I forgot +4 int +4 wis, procs weak poison(not sure of damage on the proc, have not gotten my shammy high enough to proc yet, after level 20 at least) it's shaman only spear fits in ranged slot as well
Vacra Av Svim= damage 8 delay 37 agility +6 hit points +5 1hs sword works as light source, most melee classes can use, also NODROP

No, kerpok still spawns in Splitpaw. He spawns in the lower paw area with the Judge and Executioners who promptly waste him. You cannot take this area and hold it long enough to get Kerpok without a group.

You are correct about his spawn point. However, incorrect about getting him without a group. As a 50 wiz and also a 50 ENC I simply went into that room invis., sat on a far wall away from spawns and pulled him with a spell as soon as he spawned. Naturally my wizzie took him in one shot so I was able to solo him np. Interestlingly, the aggro range in Paw is thankfully small. Thus, you can camp in there for spawns.

I picked up one of these last night on guild raid No one could Use except me its pretty nice i got it. Stats are 10dmg 38delay +5 Dex Effect : strong poisen. intresting Sword it is 1hs.

Is it just my imagination or is getting the second eye for teh Jewled Skull just about impossable now without a group? The spawn area is filled wil high blue con's to a level 40 druid. Great, just great. Please someone tell me that he was moved outside with teh zone upgrade along with teh other shaman. <SIGH> I should only be so lucky.

In answer to both Feliciana and Xmean, the Nusch Val Toresh Mashk drops the Tesch Val Sinisch.

Can anyone tell me who and what level is the NPC that drops the Tesch Val Sinisch. This is a good spear for Shaman only.

I have been inside paw for the better part of 6-7 lvls, and just a couple of days ago, right at the entrance, we see running by "Nisch Val Toresh Mashk" he conned red to my group of low 30s, but we decided to give him a try.... OUCH!! we were wearing him down a little bit when all of a sudden he just started shredding our 2 tanks, I did not make it out alive. Curious if this guy has a nice drop or not, might come back for him someday....

The DE your asking about Zixx something as I recall, use to spawn in response to the death of Kurrpok - he wanted the ruby pendant that Kurrpok dropped back. With the revamp of the dungeon, he no longer spawns.

I understand that Paw was "invaded" or some such by these new, higher lvl gnolls. Is there someone who can explain what happened, or is it on the official EQ page somewhere?
