Mistmoore Catacombs expeditions are initiated by talking to NPCs in the Wayfarer camp in Butcherblock Mountains (near the zone line to the Greater Faydark).

Beneath Faydwer's fog-clad surface, darkness flows through tendril-like tunnels. Shielded from the daylight, unseen and unstoppable, the children of twilight lie in wait. Vampires and other horrors move beneath the unsuspecting citizens of Faydwer like foul blood through a network of veins... with Castle Mistmoore as its undying heart. Will you be able to destroy this evil before twilight's arrival ?

Faction with Orphans

Are the factions inLDoN important? Was in an adventure for the first time and noticed when I killed something my faction with the Orphans went down, looked on here and a few other sites and cannot find anything about the Orphans. Any help would be appreciated.

I do not think that the faction hits you take make any real difference to your gameplay. I have earned about 52 pts in ldon adv's ( started doiing em at lvl 31-39) and have never noticed any reprucussions of that bad faction. However, the only thing i know about this is the orphans are simply a type of faction that are lowest lvl. I mean only lvl 20's-30's will encounter orphans and then higher lvl's will encounter sustainers and i cannot remember the other two at this moment.

An unlisted crit Enslaved something soul... (knew I should have written it down) - Any way i never actually saw it... even when hitting it (invis soul?) it Dotted for 500 a wave of dmg and hit for 180's...

I know they are insanely hard, but could we get some info about raids, or links to info about them? It would be of definite use to the EQ community if someone could post what the "trick" is to them, or if there simply is no trick and "here's how to do it the hard way" or something. The loot from them, I know, is great, but too few can complete them successfully. They're so... fricking... hard.

he bent over our entire group and we didnt enjoy it...
55-60 grouping, would love to have parses and screensots but our pally paci-pulled him, and we died. Real fast. i saw the monk and pally drop from full to half in about 3 seconds, and the next thing i see is my dead body and the dreaded 'loading' message.

I love the new LDON, even on the rare occasions we wipe out!

There are two definate factions at around this level, sustainers, I cna confirm, and one other (I think maybe havesters) whihc are always going down. Unfortinalty I don`t have any screenshots yet.

Hah, i had somewhat the same problem, except the dusty barrel looked like a short shrinked mob, then the zone out door was missing, i was in the dungeon 45 minutes after everyone else got zoned out... note i was still in the dungoen, anyways since im still in the dungeon, the dungoen was still active where my party member could come in and duel me, yes i had to loose to leave the dungoen lol, n e ways i guess i have to look up whats wrong with my mistrmoore files. hey u know what makes pulling alot easier? Soothe!!! set the magic thingy so u can see what mob was targeted with magic and the war or whoever else pull it while the pally soothe the other mobs, make things alot easeier especialy on rescuing missions.

Maybe I'm missing something but every mobs besides the skellies in the MM ones I do look like naked, gear less not unclothed, humans. Do I need more info, a higher setting, more levels, anything to get them to look like these screen shots?

and reload it.

Typical error when your models aren't loading correctly. Used to happen all the time with Gorenaire. Either do a complete file check, or delete your mistmoore files (which will make you re-download them)

Thanks, I sent a petition about that and did a file search in the patcher. I never got around to the other dungeons so I don't know if it was just MM ones or not. Thanks for the help.

...was the target of my first assassination dungeon. Group consisted of 59 druid (me), 61 chanter, 55 war, 55 cleric, 57 necro, 60 mage. Was darkblue to me at 59, didn't think to ask what he conned to anyone of a lower level. Was fairly easy to get down to him in the alotted time. Almost didn't make it though because someone popped a trap that hit all but the mage and necro with Haunting Curse (nasty curse based 150 to all stats debuff...lasts an hour too :( ) two pulls before we got to Stonetalon. We got him with one add that was mezzed and proceeded to give the gargoyle a beat down (looks like the stormwatcher model) killed the war at 30% health and summoned me. He didn't hit very hard, mid 160's or so, not nearly as bad as a PoN tree or raven. Didn't seem to be very FR as I landed for full on all 4 casts. Estimate somewhere around 18-20k hp.

Sorry, I've been Hunting in LDON for a week now, and i can see that Mobs Differ from what ever the party levels are, Duh thats a no brainer but how come the low level mobs arent listed here in the LDON Beistiery? I mean, how are the low levels suppose to do some research on which mobs to track, i mean there are times where the group has plenty I mean PLENTY of time to complete the mission, but there are mobs in the dungeon who drop other items, that the party can use. Come on seems like no fair for us mid level and low level players, besides even after completing the mission, you have 30 min in the dungeons to do whatever u please, because you already recieved the points yo earned for the adventure. I just see it as an unfair advantage, all i think we need is the named mobs, not the mobs that dont drop anything. oh well im just saying as a new LDON Player.

They aren't listed in the Bestiary probably because somebody didn't submit them. LDoN is a new expansion, so very little information is available to you at first. If you want to see a complete bestiary for all the different leveled monsters in the LDoN dungeons, I suggest you start taking screenshots and submitting them. Or you could just wait a year or so until the bestiary is complete. :))

Went on assasination adventure yesterday with a full 55 group against Old Enime. All went well until we faced him red con to me (53 BST)He HT for lots and all tanks died within 20 secs.

This guy is real hard to kill!

That was our mission : dispatch her quickly ! We were a group of late 50's and she conned red to me (wiz 58). She stands in the back of the circle room with her pet. She's 61 from the looks of it and a druid from the dots our druid (how ironic) could feel.

Most of the trouble was to get to her. Once we did, main tank agroed and never let go (except for our badlucked druid). I launched 25 draughts (721 dmg) but was unable to log other's hits. Pretty easy take down, fight lasted more or less 3 minutes.

Unfortunately we did not manage to get the mission done in the first 90 minutes but we easily cleared the partial bonus timer.

These mob lists are going to be huge, assuming there is a different set of mobs for every 5 level gap.

For fun I dusted off my 24 enchanter alt, decked him out in a bit of twinkage, and pulled together a group for MMC. We had an assassination mission to kill Syltavian the Cursed (I think that was his name). Anyway, mobs were the exact same models as when I went through with my 56 mage, only they hit much less. All the mobs were dark blue to 24 (22 was lowest in group) and the boss was yellow.

Loot was crap except for a shawl that was +2 to almost every stat, some AC, and ALL/ALL. I lost the random on it, so I don't remember the name.

When I went in with the mage, we managed a +5 AGI all item augment and some funky gloves with +5INT +30 Mana that was RNG/ROG/SHM only, and a recommended level of 50. I still have em and will send the image to Allakhazam. Still wondering what they were thinking on those gloves.
Boss Mob

Named "Solstice". We had a group of 58-63ish and we assigned to kill this mob. He was level 61 for us. Not too hard at all. His room took a long time to get to but once there, I lulled the mobs wih him and single pulled him easily. We killed him with 10 minutes left. Didn't drop any loot at all.

He ENRAGED and wacked our poor tank 59 SK down to 10% in less than a second. But somehow he survived. 0 deaths.

Do the dungeons actually have different named mobs for each level, or do they just spawn the same mobs just with HUGE level differences based on group level? Cause i just thought te mobs levels where determined by the level average set in when you started the adventure

Soe is startin to put a little more rpg into EQ with this expansion..Ldon is one of the best expansions....experience is about 50-60% of bot group...The augments and points to buy stuff are worth the 90minutes...Adventures are fairly easy as long as your groupies know their class.

I believe all of the scions and trueborns are under lvl 60.

Last night I was there in a group of all 65s except me, 60 bard. And I am almost sure that every mob we fought conned dark blue to me. I'd say the mobs are lvl 55-59 in the internal sanctuary. The were mostly hitting in the 300s max and there weren't too many casters. (if you don't like fighting casters DON'T go to deepest guk, ugh)
Red killing greens?

I play RZ. You posted that Red players are attacking greens and killing them before they have the chance? How is this possible? On RZ you must be within 4 levels +/- to attack a player. And in Ldon you have the zone alone for your group. Where is this kinda of killing taking place and how? This cant be right. please explain.

Was there yesterday, our mission was to seek out and destroy a beast named the "oneblooded one" or something.

Group was:

Pally 65 with almost max AA in defensive abilities
Ranger 65
Cleric 65
Wizard 65
Bard 65
Necro 65 - Me, i was slower as we thought all in Catacombs was undead - which it turned out, they where not 8)

For successfull completion its almost impossible to take down all mobs, instead one must only make sure that "boss mob" spawns, which he does after your group killed about 50-60% of the inhibitants.

The bossmob is also quite easy to locate as messages appear when he spawns that also gives you a direction from where the sounds emit from.

As stated, some where not undead, Bossmob was never slowed and summoned Wizard after crit. nuke and slayed him instantly - which made my day brighter as i cast wake the dead on him 8)

Overall, a very good time, nothing noteworthy dropped and chest yielded only a nasty trap.
