Deep inside Broken Skull Rock are the Torgiran Mines, where downtrodden slaves delve into the ore-rich depths of the island.

The ore is moved by rail out to Dulak's Harbor, processed in the refinery, and used to create ship's fittings and primitive weapons. The mines themselves occasionally dip below sea level, sometimes even uncovering lava pools. The Luggald have erected shrines and etched mystic runes in the mines, which seem to prevent them from flooding.

He was spawned in the first large cave you come to after making a right from the Crypt zone, just past the door and he was the first spawn to the right. Sent Pics of Him and of what he dropped

Spawned in a cave were the crazed miners usually are. Only seen him once so not sure if his place holder can be any crazed miner or always in the same place. He can see through your invis.

Think he's around level 48 to 50. He's a Druid who tries to cast drifting death, fury of air and enveloping roots. As an Enchanter, I mana tapped him as best I could. Managed to land forlorn deeds (slow spell) before tash and kept him rooted, while Cleric healed my pet and nuked the mob.

Slashed me for a max of 129.

Duo'ed him with a 51 Cleric. Could not solo as a 57 Enchanter using the 55 animation pet.

Dropped miners pick (5pp 7gp to vendor) and:

What is up with the Crazed miner in these mines?? Took myself a 54 druid, a 57 cleric and a 57 paly 45 minutes to take him down and all he had was a miners pick????

Any one know why or what he is for?

Only the human "a crazed miner" is uber (has bout 100K hp), he's for the bard qwest and drops nothin better than a regular crazed miner. Great for gettin that 1HB or whtever up tho.

I was camping the room with roughly 7 luggalds around a small pool. To get there you go straight from the hidden wall (Nadox zone line) to the door. Then go down the steps and take first right. Down a little tunnel is the Luggalds.

We were clearing the luggalds and I went to go see if anymore were up. Hovering above the small pool was a Water Spirit. Green to lvl 61. He was indifferent. I hailed him and he said something to the effect of choose one of four mobs to cleanse. One being fury, berserk, and 2 others cant remember. It appeared if i said I wish to fight Fury for example that mob would spawn and attack me. The spirit also said be forewarned these spirits are hardly matched in battle. Well anyway while my group was buffing he depopped and I didnt see him again. Any info on this water spirit?

We also discovered this guy after clearing the luggalds a few times. We asked for the Fury spawn not knowing what to expect and a luggald chap popped by the name "fury" and we fought and killed him quite easily, I think he was blue to us, we being a group of 5 55-59th level characters. He didn't drop anything at all which was a bit annoying. Makes me wonder about the other mobs though.

We did Rage-- spawned a nekkid luggald called Enraged Luggald-- hit a touch harder than the normal ones but nothing fancy. Dropped an opal :0/

Female Troll mob that is around level 50. I have killed her a few times now and gotten a Gold Pin Charm that increases in power when you carry more money (although I haven't seen any stats on it with 40k in my pocket).

Yeah, this is a nice face item. I was checking out the zone and bummed innto her. Seems many of the Named mobs see through invis.

These drop off of The Broken Skull Mercenary. We entered the zone from Crypt of Nadox and she (butt ugly female troll) was up. Blue to level 54 druid.

Giving keys to resistance miners (bout 20 of them) spawned 4 Captains around overseer Wranks room, 1 in each circular room. We killed Captain Lung and Nayo another grp killed the other 2. both captains slowed summoned and rampaged. No drop from Nayo but Lung dropped

Does anyone know where this mob spawns or is he a triggered mob, ive spent alot of time in the fortress area of torg and havnt seen him yet. any help would be usefull, also he is not listed on the beastiary list :( but someone made a post that he drops a ring i am trying to get, fingerbone ring or something has effect serphent site. any help would be appreciated...Thanks

In the room where sometimes a elite guard will spawn I killed a Taskmaster Waggad Brokenskull was lvl 55-56. And hit for 212 max I think. Dropped a pretty disappointting ring of leadership ac 6 wis 4 int 4 hp 55 mana 35. GRR still after a charm

For 4 days now i have been trying to get the drop "A Dark Ore Amulet" from the miners. Still nothing. Anyhow just before the patch yesterday, Gandak was standing at the zone in from Dulak. For three days he was there. After patch, he isn't there now. So thats where i saw him. Hope this helps with your question somewhat.

I also tried getting from the miners for a couple of days with no luck. Finally a friend of mine said he had seen them drop off any of the "Blackhand" variety of trolls on the right hand side of bridge from Gunthak zone. We hunted for one night (3 hours max) and had the amulet drop as well as a nice pair of shoulders and the pure blood for my druid (had 5 pure blood drop in that time).

Killed some Ritualist in a room with 4 luggalds and a big lake, you get to it via the water tunnels. Not sure if this is the guy that drops the ER3 charm for pure casters but it dropped a steel wrapped cloak of me, 10 sta 7 wis was the only stats which I can recall. Not bad.

In the pool room I had a water spirit pop.He popped after I killed the first repop in this room.Green con indif.

A water spirit poofs away to nothing as a frenzied creature is summoned forth from the glowing magical pool.

No loot.

I would expect that you can summon any of the 4 and I do not know what happens when all 4 are dead.The water spirit despawns and I do not know how to trigger it.

Just a note that it popped after the first repop died and it stayed plenty long enough for me to kill the other 4 as they popped and then trigger the summoning.You dont need to battle repops and the summoned monster.

edit-Just updating as things develop.So far I have had the water spirit twice more.When he pops there is a line of text.Something about an ancient spirit over a magical pool.Doesn't seem important.Saying berserk and fury will indeed get you a berserk and furious luggald.Again no loot on any of them.The second one popped again as I killed the first repop but the third time it was the second repop.So he is not a ph trigger.I am suspecting it may be either totally random or every 36 kills.I tried counting but think I lost track.Either 31 or 36 on that last pop.
Anyway with 3 out of 4 down I am interested to see if the 4th one actually cleanses the pool and something happens or not.In truth I expect not.Every 36 mobs in that room means you need to kill for like 12 hours to get all 4 mobs.There is not 4 drops to gather.There is nothing really in the text to infer there will be more.I suspect the young spirit of flesh and blood is the bound prisoner/Traxil Pidpop gnome nearby.He was captured by luggalds and luggalds have imprisoned the 4 spirits in this pool.
Anyway in another few hours I will hopefully get the last one and I will find out.
Whatever happens I think this zone has some cool scripted events but they need to be incorporated into quests with drops or noone will see them.There is far too few (pops) named spawns to encourage groups to camp named/rooms and these events are so random as to be more annoying than anything.When you trigger the random mobs ie;suppliers,hoarders,elites etc they just pop on top of you and will happily wipe your group - for no loot...sucky at best.Not going to have much luck convincing your group to come camp anywhere that higher lvl mobs will randomly pop on top of you.At one time I was in a room with 4 mobs that were far enough apart not to agro.I killed the first one and 3 more popped so that left me with 6 mobs and no warning.6 mobs all hitting for 150+ will kill you and your group fast.
At the least the bound prisoner and this mini event thing could have been so much more than it appears they are.

Yes my group last night has also stumbled upon "a water spirit" while we were camping luggs in that small room that has a "pool" though its really not a pool cause we can walk on it. We hailed it, it said the same thing, we also called for the frenzy one, (go figure) killed it, didn't drop anything and the water spirit de-spawned as we spawned the frenzy mob. Have no clue how long it'll take for the sprit to respawn. Or if any of the mobs that it spawns will drop any loot. Will keep trying this out till we get something :)

I was near the Bishop room when 2 luggald torturers popped.OK they made a mess of me because I wasnt paying any attention but I dropped them anyway.Now along with them...right in front of the bishop spawn popped a bound prisoner.Green con gnome.Looked like an architect from Dulak.Anyway when his 2 torturers died he turned into Traxil Pidpop.

Traxil Pidpop shouts his thanks to the heroes and then sprints down the hall.

At this point 2 more torturers popped from outside the room and came in at me.I swear Traxil despawned.I never saw where he went nor did I encounter anymore triggered mobs.If it is an escort the gnome type quest then it is bugged cos he just plain vanished.If it is not then it sucks a little because there seems little point to it.

edit - went back and there were some more up.
Kept killing them and they kept spawning from all over the place.Usually 2 from the side room then more from the hallway.Eventually 'a Luggald Pain Master popped.No loot on him.No loot on any torturers either.Things seem to have stopped with the pain master.Maybe 10-12 torturers....seemed to be better than normal exp but thats about it.

Thinking about getting a couple guild groups to go after this guy. Where might he spawn? Have a map here but I haven't run across this guy in my times in the Mines.

Ok description of where he is, is bottom floor and first right and far end there. In a room full of luggalds. He was a melee caster so didn't gate. Dropped a very nice neck item with effect enduring breath basically melee classes only. Hes lvl 55 for info.

There is a section with 4 rooms with deathguards and dreadguards.I killed everything in the 4 rooms (11 I think)and it "triggered" 3 Elite Deathguards.They all died very fast although they were higher lvl than normal.Nothing else popped.Have not been able to repeat it again.They had no special loot. pos1600 neg900 puts you in the area.
Made me think of the Pool Room post and the "triggered" zealots.
Another room 3 hoarders popped.No special loot.Only dropped 3 out of 4 normal spawns and they popped.No idea what the story is.
Still more - had 2 direguards pop.
edit-Suppliers too now.(1st April)Dropped no loot but had in the order of 57/64pp which is way more than normal here.
edit-Sentinels too...

Tried over 40k in plat gold silver and copper.I could try more but seeing as I get nothing with 40k and can barely move I figure it is rather pointless trying.
Initially I thought maybe it only took gold into account and there was a Platinum Pin and Silver Pin etc..Guess not.An Item that requires you to carry your weight limit in coins for it to work seems silly.Still it does finally fill that empty spot and even if it is totally worthless it is still only marginally worse than the best ones I have seen to date.

Wouldn't go looking for this anymore.
Logged on today and it has vanished from my inventory.Waiting on a response to my petition but I dont expect any joy.None of the charms linked to your finances work so I expect they just deleted them instead of fixing it.

She was light blue to a 62 which probably put her at 50-51 level. She was dual wielding, hit for 168 max pretty fast, and didn't cast any spells. We were able to slow her without much trouble with a 53 shaman and snare landed first try.

Pool Room

Was campin in the pool room with the 4 static spawns of luggalds. Most often there were Abominations and Occultists...sometimes An Arcanist or reaver would spawn. At one point somehing happened and I dont know how to make happen again. We had killed the room clean then killed the first of the repops...as soon as he was dead...3 Luggald Zealots(i think was name) popped by the shore...we had killed 2(amazing xp). Went to pull the third and he depopped. We could no get them to spawn again. Think it was some sort of event. But anyways they were amazing xp compared to the others in the room,.

Same thing just happened to me. 3 "Luggald Horrors" popped on top of a reaver's corpse. I killed all 3; no loot - but noticable xp, like 2 blue aa from 3 light blue mobs. Nothing happened after the 3rd one died.
