Golem Rares

A Shattered Golem and An Ancient Shissar Servit are not on the same spawn table/timer. Hunted The Grey last night around temple entrance and had both mobs up at same time. Took a nice Screenshot of them beating each other for me (charm).

Haven't seen both Revenants up together, but I'm willing to bet they are also seperate spawns.

This is true. Even the Rev's can pop at same time if one's timer catches up with the other.

The only mob I have ever been summoned by was Boulderlings - They are lvl 37-43. Yes I know the 50+ to summon thing but what bites the big one is getting summoned by a green mobs and dying!

The boulderlings came from a trap and do not normaly roam the zone. They did not see invis. I threw up invis and was springing traps all over the place trying to get A perfect Acrylia Ore for a beast lord in the zone and when these bums popped I figured I could off the greenies and see if they had the piece. They didnt take a likeing to me trying to snare them!

The lvl 55 named mobs do not even summon you in the zone!

Me < 57 Necro, 60 pally and a 55 mage have been camping the grey for about a month. So far we have looted 3 BPs and lots of other armor along with some of the bone items, this is a great place to lv and nice loot, we get about one or two nice drops a day < 10-12 hours or so > still looking for a few items that we havent seen yet.
Bracer and ring mostly. most of our alts have the dupe drops so now we give away things that we are full of. on my server there is never more than
a few in zone at any one time and mostly its just us. we grped a 51 necro with us tonite and he got about all the drops and left very pleased. dont see a need to be greedy and it is fun to see a lower lv solo char get nice loot, I was helped
many times in the past and love to help others when i can as does the rest of our grp.

Tell, are there supposed to be mobs permacamped at each of the two zones from this place i.e. Scarlet Desert and Mons Letalis? Tried to get in the other day form SD and two mobs, one normal and one undead would NOT move from the zone. Wasn't becuase people kept training them either becasue no one was zoning into SD. I was told the other zone also had mobs camped there. Never seen a zone like that. Simply can't enter this zone alone on Drinal as it stands now.

The zone is bugged. If someone trains mobs to the zoneline, they never leave. You have to train them back out or kill them to make zone-in safe again.

There are little wisps of mist that kinda look like steam coming up from the ground, if you step near one it will spawn a trap..usually a worm but I've had boulders, etc. spawn..If you are invis the spawned mobs will not aggro (unless something else nearby sees invis and aggros on you...)

Im a 57 necro, I fought a named revenant today, Revenant Sssheshezzhashraa or some ridiculously long name like that...spawnd in place of normal Shissar Revenants by the temple. He sucked up about 2700 mana in splurts, dooming darkness, ignite bones, and Vexing...and begged me for more. Didnt like root at all, resisted it and when I could get it to stick it only lasted a few seconds...needed help to finish him off, I estimate about 12-15k hps. Dropped a shissar headband, ac12 15agi 25hps 15sv poison all/all :\

My best estimate is rare drops are 1 of 7 with other drops being either 2 commons 3 of 7 or uncommon 2 of 7 and common 4 of 7.

Spawn rate is somewhere around one named in 50-60 kills. There are more snake spawns than golems, so snake drops are a bit more common.

thx for the info bro. this is davarien heh. glad to see you put all that farming to good use. this is my experience so far to tack onto that. (this is from about 3 days of killing in a group of 2 or 3 for about 8 hours a day, Arado mustve been there a month!)

Please post info on these mobs - i understand they summon and are sprung from traps...can they be stunned/mezzed/snared/rooted? HP/Hits? any lewtz?

Yeah, the traps spawn either: 1) one worm, not too tough cannot be snared can be mezzed, do NOT summon or 2) two Boulder FIENDS , a little tougher than worms, but again CAN be mezzed and snared do NOT summon i think or 3)three little Boulder LINGS, which DO summon, but CAN be mezzed and stunned, not sure of snare status, not too burly anyway

in sum - only things that cant be mezzed that i know of are shimmeringrockfiends(these can be snared and feared Easy, btw) and golems, only thing that summons are the little boulderlings but they Can be mezzed and stunned - everything responds well to shammy slow =)

Don't forget the boulder LINGS have a proc thing like the worms peebles.. but their proc is a snare. they are the worst things ever.

This is probably one of the most original MMORPG ideas, an entire airless zone on a moon? AWESOME! The only thing that would make it complete would be low gravity so that jumps would be huge! :D (unless they already have that)

Could a level 52 druid and a level 51 necromancer partner here for good experience? My friend and I are wondering if we could pick up some of the goods of the Heirophant. If we could handle a part of the zone, please post a reply with Loc's, directions, and mobs to target.

Just dropped "a boulder beast" twice. One time it dropped nothing at all, the next time it dropped "Perfect Acrylia Ore" which is Magic, Lore, No Drop. Anyone know what this is used for? Also, I triggered a trap near a rock today, and it spawned 3 "a boulderling"s. 2 were light blue to me at 59, and 1 was blue. These kept trying to cast the pebble smash spell that the xakra mobs cast.

Boulderlings cast a spell called Boulder Smash, but it's a little different that the Xakra effect. Xakra just hit you for 50, the Boulderling effect also includes a snare for about 45 seconds. Resisted all but 1 (out of dozens) cast with 102 MR. Fired up Selo's and the snare effect was killed.

On another note, even tho these guys are significantly lower than most of the mobs in the zone, they appear to be the only Summoning mobs. We spawned their trap 3 or 4 times last night. Was kinda funny to get summoned and hit for 70 instead of 500.

I charmed them into each other and everyone in the zone was spammed with "a boulderling says, You will not evade me a boulderling" for the 4-5 mins the fight lasted.

Heirophant Grazan spawns in the NE corner where all the tormented iksars spawn. If you keep killing tormented, he will evetually spawn. The three times I've killed him he was blue to me (54) and bard-charmable i.e. 51 or lower. I would guess the level range on te tormented to be about 41-ish to 46-ish.

Revenant Zssshta and Shizzzzznit both spawn around the temple in place of one of the Shissar Revenants. They are always level 55. I've seen each of them spawn several times, each time at a different spawn, but always in place of a revenant. They each drop a random piece of shissar scale armor. These are pretty heavily camped on my server. Regular revenants are 45 and under.

Both a shattered golem and an ancient shissar servit spawn around the temple in place of one of the eternal golems. The shattered golem has been <=51 every time and the ancient shissar servit has been 55 every time. I don't know if their loot tables are the same or not as I've gotten something different every time I've killed them.

Crusader Kazzel spawns in the SW corner where all the undying iksar spawn. I've killed him three times. Twice he was <=51 and the other time he was 55. The undying iksar are much higher level than the tormented, I would guess they range from around 44-ish up to 53-ish as I often get the 'too high level for you to charm' message.

The named spawns are rare meaning that you will normally need to kill quite a few of the PH to make them spawn. If I had to guess I'd guess maybe 1 in 50 will be one of the rares.

There are wandering traps in the grey. If you happen to run in to one it will spawn a creature to attack you. If you are invis you will trigger the trap but the spawned mob won't attack (I've never had a single one of them see through invis.) The type of creature spawned will depend on where you run into the (wandering) trap trigger. If you are on the sand it will spawn a xakra sha worm, if you are standing on top of a rock it will spawn a stone beast type mob. You can't see or target the wandering trigger, but you can figure out where they are by clicking an item around on your screen. If you happen to click on the (invisible) trigger, it will tell you 'you are too far away from the sand to trade.' You can use this to avoid the trap, or wait for it to get over a rock if you are after one of those (like the named stonebeast Stonehand.)

I've only seen one mob summon. Boulder fiends. They are pretty low level compared to the rest of the zone (lblue to 54) but usually several spawn at once as a result of the wandering trap. Watch out for those.

Note, those wandering traps CAN be triggered on you if your standing still. I was medding invis one day and one popped on me. I am sure this is a rare thing but it can happen so if you go afk while not invis you may come back to a CR.

these level ranges are a bit off, all eternal golems are light blue to a 60 so they can't be 46th-47th. Undying Iksars, I seriously doubt that they are 40-43...they are blue to 60th and hit in the 160's.

Not solo. 55+ for solo here. 60 wizard friend of mine solos here for AA exp, quads normal mobs. He can do the level 55 named mobs but not with any adds. Gotten most of his 30? or more AA points here I understand.

I am a wizard and can spend hours trying to get a group OR I can find a place to Quad kite. I prefer a group. I will try to find a group but I'm not going to waste what little EQ time I have going from zone to zone or broadcasting in guild hopeing for a group.

Better solution...If you aren't willing to have the wiz in your group...then take your group to a place where a wiz CANT quad kite...ie a dungeon. There are several around the grey where you can get some EXP and some nice stuff and are hardly used at all :).

I have a better idea, how about you stop playing a wizard and delete the character and make one that is more group friendly. That is about as fair a suggestion as you telling other people to go hunt somewhere else so you can quad-kite things.
